Steak and Eggs
Two eggs your way, grilled pork flat iron steak, crispy home fries
House cut filet, smashed potatoes, vegetables, cabernet demi glaze
The food was amazing. Every course was great and the service was great too. We really enjoyed it.
Special date night. Place was quiet and a little too dark. The Wellington steak was done well. Cesar salad was the worst I’ve ever had. No one ever asked how are food was. Waitress never offered to refill my drink. She returned once, about twenty minutes after bringing our water, to bring us bread and lemons that we’d requested when we ordered the water. Someone else brought the meal out. The waitress returned to put our bill on the table without saying anything to us.
Looking for the good side: being able to talk with my wife without being interrupted. Still gave her a 20% tip. Maybe they were understaffed. It’s hard to find people that will actually show up to do a job anymore since America is being bought out by a socialistic government that pays people to not work.
Wonderful food, stellar service.
Very pleasant experience. Southern cooking means fried Green tomatoes which were wonderful, pimento cheese, etc. Steak was great and cooked exactly to order. Finished it off with cherries jubilee which was prepared tableside and was enjoyable from an entertainment point of view as well as culinary.
Slow service. Food was
Ok. Turkey wrap was dry. Chicken on salad was
Had a great experience! Food was fantastic! Steak was delicious! Service was great!
Great service from wait staff, food was very good and atmosphere was nice.
CONS: Very pricey or the quality of food we received. Depth of flavor was seriously lacking on the meats. Quality of meat (ordered NY) was poor. Sides were bland and cheesecake was frozen
PROS: Atmosphere was nice and service was good. Beverage selection was above average!
As always, the food was delicious, I had salmon and the service was excellent. Wellingtons is one of our favorites!!
Great breakfast with friends
Wonderful food, outstanding service. Lovely experience!
The pickles are divine. The food was good, cooked well. Was shocked that the waiter felt he needed to explain a wine menu pricing. Beautiful restaurant, great for a romantic dinner or just enjoy fine dining. Wished their menu had more seafood options, lamb, or poultry other than just one chicken plate. Maybe it is just the COVID issue, but would like to see more. Dessert was excellent.
Valentines dinner was fantastic. Servers need some training!
Excellent food and drinks! We started with cheese and meat board, martinis and both had seared Salmon with Brussel sprouts.
Food is amazing. We had the filets which were perfect and tender.
The service was lacking though. Our server never refilled our beverages, forgot our coffee. She dropped off the bill too soon in my opinion. We had to ask for our coffee and forks for our dessert. She also didn’t bring cream or sugar for coffee or even ask if we wanted any. I think maybe she hasn’t been taught fine dining. I’ve worked in several fine dining establishments as well as in casual dining. I feel that she needed more training. She was pleasant and nice though.
Love the deconstructed beef wellington and the ambience!
While the service and wine selection was very good, the charcuterie board was lackluster, the desserts could use some work, and the filet was absolutely overcooked and cooked unevenly. Nice environment and Jessi was great! Overall nothing spectacular from the food.
The menu was a covid menu, it doesn't take anymore to prepare any thing on the menu now than it used to. I have been there many times. I won't be back until they can put out a decent menu.
The limited Covid-19 menu is very disappointing! But the atmosphere is still great.
Food was delicious and the restaurant was lovely.
Proposed to my girlfriend here just recently.
Food was GREAT, albeit a bit pricey, but the staff was very, very good.
Want a classy place to take someone?
This is a safe bet to impress someone should the need arise, be it personal, or business!
I DON'T right reviews often, much less good ones, but these folks did it right
1st time eating dinner there, and it was wonderful, from checkin, service, and food. Will return.
Great food service and atmosphere
The food was absolutely fantastic and our server, Jared was amazing. It was a great way to celebrate our anniversary!
Bar service was slow. The online menu had a more extensive dinner menu than what was available and no soups were available. I ordered a caesar which was good but I really missed having anchovies, also not available. Desert time came and we ordered cheesecake from the menu but they were out. The beef tips were good though on the sweet side. We were disappointed overall.
Food quality compared to price is bad. Service is horrible. Better have a snack before you go because it will be a while until you eat. Craft cocktails are amazing but really slow. Order your next drink when your first one comes.
All in all, a very pleasurable experience. The bar area with its fireplace, dark woodwork and an extensive list of whiskeys and knowledgeable bartenders was outstanding. The ambiance extends to the dining area. The wait staff was attentive but not overbearing. The food was very good but not exceptional. Only critical observation (and it is merely my opinion) is the menu seemed a bit limited...specifically, I would like a few more entrees from which to choose. I will absolutely visit again when in the area and recommend to others.
Was surprised that the chef wouldn't blacken the catfish. Only served it deep fried. The meal was prepared well, just disappointed the chef was unable to make the adjustment.
Wonderful place to celebrate Valentines Day
Our waitress was perfect
We will come back soon
Excellent food. good service. It's the only upscale restaurant in town, and its a good one.
Valentines Day Dinner
Best steak I've had in a LONG time!
Service was slow, it was 10 mins before our waiter even gave us water
Pecan Brussels sprouts were burnt, dry and tasteless
Steak was ok imo, but I would have thought for the price it should have been excellent
Not worth the money overall
We were a little reluctant to visit here after poor service a few years ago on Valentine's Day, but were pleasantly surprised that the service level was much improved. Both the filet and the catfish were delicious as were the sides. Would highly recommend this restaurant for a nice evening dinner.
Had a reservation and we were seated immediately which is great. Ordered the cheese and charcuterie board which was excellent. We also had salads. Ordered the 8 oz Filet and the NY Strip ... both ordered as medium rare. It took 1.5 hours to get our entrees — half an hour after salads. When we got the steaks they were well done ... medium well at best. The server didn’t check on the meal for at least 15 minutes. I told him about it and said I wasn’t sending it back.
Reason I didn’t send it back was because I didn’t want to wait another hour to get the meal I ordered. Service was mediocre.
We are local transplants to the area and wanted to try the restaurant. I won’t be back. There are other places for upscale food and farm to table food that are much better at service, food, and overall dining experience. To me every customer experience should be treated as a first impression. I wasn’t impressed.
We were there to celebrate our 50 anniversary. It was very noisy. I was disappointed that the filet had several foods the same color and was not as attractive as in the past. I like to have colorful vegetables with my meal. Potatoes and cauliflower were same color and meat was brown with brown glaze.
There was no complimentary dessert for our celebration. That was a disappointment.
