My girlfriend and I ate here for out 4 year anniversary. The food was outstanding, and we really loved the atmosphere. Everything was wonderful and the service was perfect. I would recommend coming here for any celebration.
Excellent dinner and we enjoyed having Sam as our waiter. We will be back!
Lovely, cozy, relaxing. Dinner was prepared very well and delicious aside from what tasted like stale grocery store rolls. Salmon and Chicken dishes were excellent! Found out it was a local roaster. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was the best! (Local roaster-Old Goat).
Dinner wasn’t as stellar as usual. I think the chef has changed. Food was more on the bland side.
Food was terrible. Worst $80 I've thrown away in a long time. Save your money and go nextdoor to cookout if you want the quality food they serve.
We went to Wellington's for our anniversary. The food was wonderful as always, but we were seated next to the kitchen so it was rather noisy with people coming in and out.
Cuisine was very good, excellent value for price. Our waiter advised us when he first passed by our table that the restaurant was understaffed that evening and that he might be a little slow. We appreciated his being up front about that, although from that point there was no evidence that they were short staffed. He was prompt from start to finish, we never felt that we had to wait overlong. The table at which we sat was comfortable and the noise level was equally agreeable - they've worked out the acoustics and they're not disturbing (as they are in so many restaurants). We'd go back on future trips to Johnson City.
The ambience is great and the convenience of being inside The Carnegie is great. The food is pretty good. They don’t seem to have specials much, so the menu is what it is. I’ve been consistently happy with the deviled eggs, fried green tomatoes, and shrimp the food timing seems to be the same regardless. It’s always a pretty lengthy dinner and not because you’ve ordered 5 courses.
Food was very good and well prepared. The portion of Brussel sprouts was a little overpowering and perhaps a little over-do e but still good.
Service was excellent. Wine selection could have been better.
Beautiful setting in the Carnegie Hotel; friendly service and delicious tasting food but at a higher priced dining experience.
The three of us each had the dis- Wellington and considered Outstanding.
But I always have the same thing when I go there and I have never been disappointed,
We celebrated our anniversary here and I am happy we did. We both really enjoyed our evening. We both had the "Deconstructed" Wellington and for desert we shared a Cherries Jubilee.
Very good food and good service. Only disappointment was a request for flowers at the table. I made the request on the app but it went unfulfilled. Can understand if it’s not possible but it was simply disregarded.
It was great. Had never been and it was a pleasant experience. The waiter was great and the food was well worth it. Plan on going for breakfast and lunch at some other time because they have reasonable prices.
Dinner with our daughter
Wellington's is wonderful. We are staying at the Carnegie Hotel, so taking an elevator downstairs to Wellington's is a no-brainer! We returned for breakfast and will be having dinner again there tonight and breakfast in the morning before we depart. The ambience is very nice; the wait staff is lovely and the food is great as well. It is a win/win if visiting Johnson City!
We had a great dinner, our server was great, unfortunately I don’t remember his name.
The food was just average. The server could not open a bottle of wine. Limited wine list.
The service was attentive and the food quite delicious. I had a salad with the fried chicken and my spouse had the beef tips. We will definitely return for dinner.
The food was fantastic. Service was great and felt like we had private dining. 10/10 would recommend.
The deconstructed Wellington was excellent. Be sure to have the Brussel sprouts as a side.
They seated us early; the service was excellent and the food was yummy
Nice new deck!
Steak was delicious sides were ok
The food was ok. I was expecting it to be better. The service was wonderful. We had drinks at the bar which were great and the bartender was so knowledgeable.
Delicious meal. Great service. Highly recommend.
The food was amazing. Every course was great and the service was great too. We really enjoyed it.
Special date night. Place was quiet and a little too dark. The Wellington steak was done well. Cesar salad was the worst I’ve ever had. No one ever asked how are food was. Waitress never offered to refill my drink. She returned once, about twenty minutes after bringing our water, to bring us bread and lemons that we’d requested when we ordered the water. Someone else brought the meal out. The waitress returned to put our bill on the table without saying anything to us.
Looking for the good side: being able to talk with my wife without being interrupted. Still gave her a 20% tip. Maybe they were understaffed. It’s hard to find people that will actually show up to do a job anymore since America is being bought out by a socialistic government that pays people to not work.
Wonderful food, stellar service.
Very pleasant experience. Southern cooking means fried Green tomatoes which were wonderful, pimento cheese, etc. Steak was great and cooked exactly to order. Finished it off with cherries jubilee which was prepared tableside and was enjoyable from an entertainment point of view as well as culinary.
Slow service. Food was
Ok. Turkey wrap was dry. Chicken on salad was
Had a great experience! Food was fantastic! Steak was delicious! Service was great!
Great service from wait staff, food was very good and atmosphere was nice.
CONS: Very pricey or the quality of food we received. Depth of flavor was seriously lacking on the meats. Quality of meat (ordered NY) was poor. Sides were bland and cheesecake was frozen
PROS: Atmosphere was nice and service was good. Beverage selection was above average!
As always, the food was delicious, I had salmon and the service was excellent. Wellingtons is one of our favorites!!
Great breakfast with friends
