Weber's Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
I understand that it was restaurant week, but the lobster bisque was flat. It tasted like someone had made it who isn't the normal soup maker. The base was nice, a great seafood/fish stock, but just a flat tomato soup flavor. It needed more body and i felt as if no one had tasted it before serving the soup. I had the duck and I am not sure if it is normally cooked to the doneness that it was, but it was in the early stages of dry, not the beautiful rare-medium rare that such a beautiful dish should be cooked at. Excellent starters, service, and ambiance. Our waitress was fantastic, and the manager was nice when he came to check as well. It wasn't a meal I regret having, Im sure Ill be back in fact, but i was disappointed with some culinary aspects. I am by no means a chef, but it doesn't take a genius to understand that something doesn't taste good, and the lobster bisque just was off.
The room was nice after I upgraded to a newer room the wife and I had a good time we’ve been going there for years just to get away from the kids and the hustle and bustle we always meet cool people in the hot tub after kids hour we will be going back same time next year
Weber's never disappoints! Always a great dinner whether its family or business. The food is great and they clearly have a culture of excellence in their customer service. One of our all-time favorite dinner spots. Tip: Try the crab cakes - they're outstanding!
I have been going to Weber's for as long as I can remember. Almost always an enjoyable experience. And this time was as well. Max was a very good server, kept the coffee and water filled and plates cleared. He was a big help with serving birthday cake for my 80 year-old mother. I was a bit disappointed in the brunch buffet. The cost was very reasonable and for the most part the food was good and adequate. Nothing was bad, the waffles were terrific, as were the baked goods. I found the fruit ripe and tasty, but two others in the group felt it was unripe. The fried chicken, while a bit dark was moist and crunchy, but needed more seasoning. There was an unidentified pasta dish, that no one in our group tried. Over all, my group was happy with the experience and we will be back.
The dinner was very nice. Food tasted delicious. Our server was not the best. We had told him at the beginning we wanted two checks. When he brought the check, it was all on one. We asked him to correct it, he said can't you just split it. It was my husbands birthday so we got the free meal(thank you). He did take it back and change it but then I ask for a box for my dessert. He did box it up but kind of threw it on the table. The person next me said WOW he just threw that on the table. Other than that it was very god.
Our second time trying Weber’s, despite a mediocre first attempt years ago. Everyone lately had recommended this place for a nice meal, so we thought something had changed. It hadn’t. We had a filet mignon, tenderloin medallions, duck, and a ribeye with salmon. All four of us had the same comments: blah, overcooked, with an undefinable odd taste. For my part, I truly loved the oysters and the side of salmon, but those are hard to screw up as menu items go. The manager (I think) came over, but he too behaved oddly, poorly dressed and uncomfortable talking with us. We didn’t bother to complain. We simply placed Weber’s back in the Bucket-NOT List. Dinner price $200, with drinks. There are a lot of other options in Ann Arbor at that price that far surpass in quality.
New Years Eve...
6:30 reservation. seated at 6:33
Tremendous staff (Christina Cooper, and our waiter Bret) took wonderful care of us, and other guests.
Consistently great, fresh food.
A true Ann Arbor area tradition for years. Have always been treated like family, and made to feel as if we were the most important people dining.
Wife had Filet, which was prepared perfectly. This time I hade the Delmonico, (Ribeye) which was a switch from my usual Prime Rib.
Oh... and the Crab Cakes... Out of this world!
Thank you Weber's for making New Year's meal special.
Weber's is our 'go-to' restaurant for family events and special occasions. The food is always reliably delicious, the bake goods are exceptional, service is professional (attentive, but not overbearing) and the atmosphere is welcoming and classy, but not arrogant. Our wedding reception was at Weber's 38 years ago, and we just went with friends on New Year's Eve less than 2 weeks ago. We love it!
Nice 1970’s menu. Nothing creative or exciting. The main dish, not the sides, were good. Sides and diner salads need to be update. The red wine vinegerrete should not be gotten. The bread basket left much to be desired- sliced white bread and matzoh. Customers deserve more atthis price point.
Service was slow and uniterested.
Prime rib is amazing!!!! Have dined here about 3-4 times a year. Bar drinks ALWAYS take a really long time. In fact, I really enjoy coming here but the general pace of the overall service is always at a "relaxed pace" if you know what I mean. Will be back though
Love, love, love, the salad choices on the lunch menu. We have dined here for lunch before and had the same experience, great tasting entree salads with fresh flavorful ingredients, tasty garlic toast included in the complementary bread and butter basket, tender prime rib perfectly cooked to ordered doneness, and a relaxing atmosphere. They are one of few places that offer a free entree deal on your birthday! Very reasonable pricing given the huge increase in prices at other places in town with similar high quality. [They do seem to be hit and miss with actually completely checking you in for your Open Table reservation because 2 of 3 past visits Open Table sent me a no show email with request I send in "proof" I dined to get the points added to my account.]
Terrible experience. We were there for a Christmas Eve birthday. I had called to verify we could do birthday dinner on Christmas Eve and was told yes. We got there, were seated at the table closest to the piano player. We couldn't even talk to each other. Them found out there was no dinner menu, just brunch. We left and went elsewhere for dinner.
Beautiful place. They gave us a quiet little table in the corner and it was perfect with live piano music in the background. Service couldn’t have been better. Please try the French Martini! One of the best drinks I’ve ever had. Dessert was to die for. We come for our anniversary almost every year from Ohio to this place and have never had a bad experience.
