Weber's Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
My husband had sea scallops and I had a filet mignon. Both dishes were very good and my filet was cooked perfectly. We also tried the scalloped potatoes and the french onion soup, and both were delicious. The ambiance was nice and we very much enjoyed the live piano music. If you like traditional steak houses, you'll like Weber's. They also have several seafood dishes, oysters, etc. The service is wonderful - prompt and professional. Good wine by the glass selection.
Only a few gluten free options. The Appetizers were good. Lamb chops came nearly raw when I ordered them medium, tasteless and missing the sauce. Salad came without dressing on it. First two drinks were amazing. Ordered an espresso martini with dessert and it was served warm and wasn't mixed. I was disappointed by I had good company.
The service was wonderful and the food was delicious as always. We love the atmosphere, the classic feel of a fine restaurant and the quiet area where our table was. Weber’s has a special feeling that you don’t get in just any restaurant. My husband and I love coming for special occasions and can’t wait to return! The bumpy cake is my favorite!
Lobster bisque was not good French onion soup was awesome the ribeye for being a 28 day old aged steak was tough had crab legs for ad on and they brought me to Krab knuckles in a little piece of crap told waiter was not eating that would be back and got me a king crab like I ordered for an ad on what took 20 minutes to bring out by then The rest of the food was cold maybe just had a bad night
The hostess was very helpful and accommodating when I made the reservation, we were seated right away. The service was all downhill from there- I told the waiter that it was my husbands birthday and he offered no info as to what he would get for his birthday or even a happy birthday. He never offered dessert and when asked about it, only asked my husband what he would like and not the other 5 people at our table. He also had to correct our bill 3 times, even given all of this we left him a nice tip. After the bill was paid we never saw him again and we had dirty dishes stacked all over the table, so I had to find him and ask him to clear the dishes of which he only cleared a few. We stayed for drinks and dancing and I had to clear the rest of the dishes myself. I then had to find a waitress to take our drink orders, we didn’t even have water. There were several wait staff and a manager in the area who saw me clearing the glasses off the table and still no one came to our table. All that being said the food was very good but I would hesitate to take a celebration there again.
Weber’s would be easy to forget in Ann Arbor as it’s tucked away on the west side of town, but it’s very much worth remembering for the consistently good food, softly lit setting, quiet live music and great service. Ample on-site parking is a double plus in the winter. Try anything on the menu; you won’t be disappointed and I guarantee you’ll go back. It’s a winner!
We thought based on the pictures that this would be a romantic place to spend our anniversary.
We were seated near the back bar and had people on their phones leaning over toward our table on a shelf that ran along side our table. Very intrusive. The food was very disappointing. Tasteless steak cover with packaged au jus. Not really what we were expecting. We won't be back. The lighting was the only positive, brighter when reading the menu and then dimmed.
The food was very good, as we expected, and there is a lot of attention to presentation. However, arriving and checking in for our reservation was a bit awkward and there is now where to wait until your table is ready. Also are table was between a larger party of women who were celebrating something and the piano player so it was really not possible for us to converse in normal tones or hear our waiter. Maybe it was avoidable, maybe not!
My wife and I have dined here several times. Last few times we've been there, we've either had a problem with the food or the service. When we were there last Friday, we waited 45 minutes to get seated (with reservations) and our entrees took forever to get to us. But the food was excellent and the Manager (Kurt or Kirk) compensated us accordingly for our issues. He was very apologetic and friendly and yes, we will be back because my wife loves their crab cakes. 😉
The breakfast buffet was very good, as were the drinks. The service was lacking which was a disappointment. Our waiter was not friendly, was put off bc we asked for a drink menu and was slow to refill waters and coffee. Which is all we needed him for since it was a buffet...
My boyfriend and I had a fantastic dinner date on a Friday during restaurant week. We had a fantastic server named Branden who provided us with excellent service during out entire night. He was able to recommend a fantastic wine to both of us that we thoroughly enjoyed and was able to also provide good insight as to which dishes we should order for our entrees. Branden was a fantastic server who knows how to care for his guests, and we would love to have him host us again.
The atmosphere is very warm and comfortable, but not too cozy and casual for dinner. People were lively, but not to the point of being too excited so you could still carry on good conversation with your friends at the table. Our four meal course was excellent and extremely fresh; you could even taste the difference in the whipped cream because it was made back in the kitchen and was not pre-made with artificial preservatives.
For dinner we had the following: escargot, calamari (appetizers), raspberry vinaigrette salad, whitefish (entree), prime rib (entree), carrot cake and vanilla ice cream with a brownie (desserts). Every dish that we tried we extremely enjoyed; nothing was over seasoned or over/under cooked.
We will return to Weber's again for another date night in the upcoming future. Thank you for the excellent meal and great service!
We went to Weber's for Ann Arbor's restaurant week, and like last year, it was a very positive experience. Weber's offers a good number of items on their restaurant week menu and everything we tried was very good to great. The appetizers (calamari and escargot) were very tasty, the dinner salads have extra ingredients that raise them above normal and come with an excellent raspberry vinaigrette. Weber's is rightfully know for their great prime rib, but the duck was also excellent, as were the side dishes.
The only negative was the wait for a table even with reservations, but it was not long (about 15 minutes) and everything else went very smoothly.
Long wait, but it was Restaurant week and Fifty Amp Fuse was playing (we didn’t know that until we saw the FAF stickers on the equipment cases being wheeled in the front door).
Food wise the Prime Rib and London Broil are excellent, evening else was merely decent to good.
I got there about 30min before my reservation time so we just sat at the bar. We were seated in a lovely spot. A gentleman played the piano which made the ambiance really nice. Soon after, a live band started playing. It took a while for our waiter to get to us and in between drinks, there was always a long wait but we didn't mind. The food was delicious.
