Weber's Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Awesome food. Very happy with our meals and drinks. Brought a friend whom had never been to Weber's and she loved it. She is going to bring her son-in-law for his birthday. Unfortunately, we were not really happy with our waiter. Maybe he was just having a bad day. Still a great dinner night!
Disappointed in the Sunday brunch. I have enjoyed the brunch for years but this time was disappointed. We had a party of 7 with 1 being my mother of 84 who has a difficult time walking. The hostess moved our seat two times and then my mother tried to order French toast and was told she couldn't order French toast from that part of the restaurant but she could if we sat in another part of the restaurant, we were not given a choice on were we sat and prior to my dads passing, my mom and Dad went there monthly and was never told that before. The food was fine but noticed that several food selections were not included in the brunch such as eggs benidict and freck toast.
We've been twice for brunch now, Father's Day and Brunch with Santa. Weber's and staff have done a great job! We always wish they had bacon on the buffet for brunch though. The Santa they had this weekend was so good, had to have been the REAL one without a doubt! He had a beautiful beard and costume and the kindest spirit, very patient with our son who was just not having it this time.
I had the smoked salmon dinner and my wife had the chicken alfredo and it was amazing. The salmon was the best that i have ever eaten. I would definately go back and would recommend this place if you want a special meal for business or just to take your sweetheart out for a special meal.
We had a wonderful birthday celebration ! The food was amazing - my husband loves the prime rib! My sea bass was delicious.
Even though my birthday had been 2 days prior, our waiter gave us a free dessert!
The pianist was playing great tunes which we really enjoyed.
The ambiance was great with appropriate, dim lighting and a pianist playing classic rock tunes. However the service was somewhat subpar and we had to request items multiple times (no steak knives with prime rib?) and often waited longer than seemed necessary. The food, however, was fantastic. The rack of lamb was cooked as ordered, very flavorful and tender.
I have always enjoyed Weber's and I know that they close during the winter months, so I wanted to be sure to take my mom there one more time for dinner before they closed. Staff is always pleasant, love the views and portions are pretty good. Prices seem to have gone up, but I guess that's most everywhere lately.
This was sort of a bucket list experience. Had hear about Webers 17 years ago, but had never been there. Unfortunately, because expectations were high from all the hype, the overall experience was rather disappointing. The food was okay, but not that flavorful. The service was very mediocre and unimpressive. Not what you would expect from a restaurant that enjoys such a good reputation in the Ann Arbor area. Not even sure I even want to give it another try. There are too many other restaurants I haven't tried yet.
I've been coming to Weber's since 1971. My family often stayed here when visiting
me as an undergrad, as did me wife to be's family. We frequently dined in the restaurant. It was our go to fancy place.
We continued to live in Ann Arbor after graduation, continuing our relationship with the Weber family. But we moved away from Ann Arbor in the early 80s and I haven't been back for over 30 years.
Unable to book a room for this holiday/big game weekend, we were able to get holiday dinner reservations. I was looking forward to some great reminiscences.
I realize that things don't stay the same, and that special occasions such as this can be more a matter of getting everyone through, but so many details were missed. But worst of all was the staff that gave off the vibe that they really didn't want to be there on a holiday.
20 minutes late seating
Unset table once we were seated
Cocktails took another 20 minutes
Wine service was good
Traditional turkey dinner was over cooked and dry
To go boxes were brought to the table with no offer of assistance
No "thank you" or other acknowledgement of our business
Host was pleasant on exit
All and all.....meh.
We will be back to Ann Arbor again and will give our friends at Weber's another chance, but certainly not what we were hoping for this trip.
Service was top notch. Our waiter had our food out in no time and was there anytime we needed anything. Steak wasn’t well seasoned and the blue cheese crust was not melted it was burnt which was a bummer for the price we paid. The mood was perfect for a date night or special occasion even on a busy night. It’s always a good thing when the parking lot is full and your seated right away. Will definitely give them another shot, but will order something different.
The tables were jammed together, it was hard to move in and out. The noise levels were pretty high, probably because so many people were crowded together. The wait staff were not as attentive as I expected them to be. It took longer than expected times to have the table cleared of dishes and to get refills on beverages.
A bakery cake had been ordered for a birthday. When I receive the bill, there was a cake cutting fee that is not advertised $2.00 per person. I objected when I saw it on the bill and was eventually removed.
It was not what I had expected.
All in all it was good. It was a little frustrating that our reservations were for 12:30pm and they stop serving brunch at 1pm. So those of us who selected the buffet had to deal with limited selections (there were empty dishes on the buffet). I would suggest they keep it filled until all patrons are served or don't take reservations so late.
Sunday Brunch is our family favorite. Our Nov. 5th visit had the best and freshest selection of food items. Our server was eager to serve us and kept the coffee and whatever we needed on the table. We enjoy Webers and will continue to celebrate our grandchildren's birthdays there.
