We were super excited to try this place out; we stayed in the hotel and didn’t want to leave for dinner. Host was very pleasant and seated us promptly. Our server Barbara
Always been a great place. Incredible service with quality food in every meal
Absolutely one of the best restaurant in Ann Arbor
I have always wanted to get to this restaurant. The service and food were amazing. We were celebrating an engagement and the whole family enjoyed the spectacular meal!
I found the food much more mediocre than usual (Sunday buffet). While service was very gracious, very slow in bringing out our orders of hash browns. Also the wide brimmed coffee cups result in coffee getting cold very quickly. I have eaten at Weber's other times and found it much better, especially if ordered from menu and not the buffet.
They put us all alone in a separate area in the back, and basically forgot us.
ordered medium cut Prime rib. asked the server prior to ordering what I should expect with that cut since I normally prefer my prime rib to be thicker cut. he indicated the medium cut would be fairly thick. it arrived at our table, extremely thin! even too thin to be the smallest cut in my opinion. I questioned whether or not I had the wrong cut, he said he questioned it with the kitchen and they confirmed it was the medium cut. shortly after, the manager arrived at my table to mention the thin cut, told me to wait a few that he would bring a thicker cut to me. when it arrived, it was just as thin as the original. they should have at least only charged me for the small cut, as both the server and the manager acknowledged that it was extremely thin. But nope, got charge full price... $30! the flavor was quite good, and I did eat it, but it was not what I set out for that evening. very disappointed.
Nice atmosphere, good food, variety of entrees, Service was friendly and accurate cole slaw had more mayo than veggies.
We went to Weber's for Sunday brunch and , as usual, it was great. They have modified the buffet routing since the last time we were there and it seemed to have helped with the traffic pattern. Coffee was especially great. The waitress told us it was their own blend.
We always choose Webers for gatherings. Great food and entertainment/dancing afterwards. We were not thrilled with the band this past weekend, but once again the food and ambiance was spot on!
Here' the thing about Webers... after many years of eating here, it's a crapshoot. One in four times is amazing...everything outstanding across the board, then you might get a pretty nice meal with an overcooked steak or some insanely oversalted tuna tossed in but overall pretty darn good, then three and four can be just terrible...all steaks cooked incorrectly, salad limp and tasteless, pasta undercooked.. drinks just meh. So if your looking for an outstanding meal served in a nice quiet classy atmosphere served by skilled waitstaff...you have a roughly 1 in 4 chance of that. That said we still go back because it's very close to home, you can usually get seated and when they are who they think they are they are outstanding.
An off night I guess, but coming off of a string of off nights, we sense a pattern setting in. Service was lackluster and very slow. Lamb chops way overcooked, scalloped potatoes very overcooked, so more like mashed potatoes. Beef Wellington app is not mini Beef Wellingtons as described, but 5 tiny tough, well done, leftover beef cubes wrapped in puff pastry. Used to be such a great place, new chef really not as good as previous chef. Sides and main dishes and apps no longer as good as they were. Changed menu but not for the better. Bring back Weber's from a couple of years ago. Also, hostess wanted to seat us in no man's land but we requested a different area. NO ONE was back there for the entire 2 hours we were there, why would they even consider seating us there. Also, on more than one occasion not very friendly, and after I mentioned we made reservations through open table, they told open table we didn't show up for reservation. Very annoying.
The food is usually excellent. This visit the food wasn't as good. Hopefully, it was a fluke. Weber's is one of our favorite restaurants, so we do plan to return. Despite the meal we had this time, I would recommend Weber's, especially for a special occasion.
I went to the Liverpool vs. Manchester soccer game at the Big House with my friend and we decided to go to Weber's afterwards. As always is the case, the food, service and atmosphere were all excellent! I have been dining at Weber's for at least 36 years and have always enjoyed each experience. The quality of food, consistency of service and inviting environment are what makes Weber's so special to me. I have a great many fond memories of dining at Weber's...... and I plan on many more years and memories in the future!
Noise level above hearing level. Could not converse with each other
It was my fiancé’s birthday. The wait staff in the restaurant were professional and courteous the food was absolutely delicious the room was very relaxing in the hot tub I almost fell asleep. It was a wonderful experience.
We took our visiting grandson for Sunday brunch and we all enjoyed it very much. The selection is varied and everything very tasty. I especially enjoy the mini waffles and fruit sauces/whipped cream. Excellent value, not overly expensive. The elegant table linens and professional service is an added plus.
I sent in a reservation to propose to my girlfriend over a month beforehand, and when I arrived, the table was reserved, and the staff was aware. We had the perfect table, the perfect waitress, and the entire staff was nice. The proposal went amazing, with an ovation from other diners and the staff which made her (and us) feel that much more special in our moment. The food was delicious, and the cake was amazing! I can honestly say that even though we live in Madison WI, when we come back to visit her parents in Ann Arbor, this will be a location to have a PERFECT date night. The manager gave us a bottle of champagne on the house, and let me tell you, that really made me feel that we were in the right location. Not because it was offered but because I feel that it just showed how the staff are willing to go above and beyond to make sure that we enjoyed ourselves and celebrated. This place will always have a place in my heart and who knows, maybe we will get married here in a few years 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to celebrate ANYTHING. Best of luck to the crew, and I would thank them for an eternity on helping to make my proposal a special one.
The food was delicious, service great, the bar exciting but too many kids running around in the dining room and we had the bad luck of sitting next to a noisy family and it was our anniversary dinner. I don't blame the restaurant for the kids screaming but that was the only negative part. Maybe consider making a family section of the dining room in the future?
Love Webers. Food and service are excellent. Love live piano music playing in the background.
This was a 60th anniversary dinner for my parents and they absolutely loved everything about it.
Asked Medium Rare cooked but served the one cooked more than medium
One of my friends and I enjoyed a delicious Sunday brunch. I appreciate the variety of good food available and the gracious service at the table (coffee, other drinks).
I went there with my family for my birthday dinner. The dish I had was called Lobster Thermidor and I didn't like the sauce at all. It only had a couple of little pieces of salmon. The sauce tasted like a gravy, which doesn't go well with seafood. We did have a good server and was seated right away when we came in. The other people in my party really didn't like their food either.
The live music was excellent. The dining room structure pleasant and intriguing. The food taste and quality was good but not great. We are appreciative of the birthday allowances. Thank you!
Service was very good. Our server was very attentive and checked on us frequently
The food was very good and served hot. We have been to the Weber Grill at least four times in the past mostly at the bar and listen to music and dancing.
We really enjoy Weber’s! Holly was fantastic! She took excellent care of us! We really enjoyed having Quote cover Seshan well we’re enjoying our lunch
I've been going to Webers since I was a child and have raised my kids on Webers as well and now a third generation is being introduced to Webers. We had a new waitress which definitely impacted the evening. She was very friendly just overwhelmed. Manager stepped in after we were showing our frustration and helped the rest of the time which was as he should have. The appetizers were all amazing!! We had spinach bread, mini beef wellingtons and mussels. All were cooked to perfection and delectable. Our main courses varied - one steak was very fatty, one not cooked as ordered. That being said the King Crab others in my party ordered was to die for - the perfect amount, taste, etc. Absolutely worth every penny!! Soups were wonderful. Kids meals were great - the shrimp kids meal is a real treat for the little ones and was large shrimp as compared to many restaurants who only serve little shrimp-made the kids feel like they were eating special food like the adults. The bread and salmon pate are always a stand-out. Homemade and amazing garlic toast - best I've had anywhere ever!!! This was the second trip to Webers this week as I had been there for Thursday buffet which was turkey and gravy and dressing and green beans and salad bar and sandwich bar, etc. WONDERFUL value, home cooking, great for people who don't have a long lunch hour. I do highly recommend Webers and in my job I am asked for referrals daily for hotels, restaurants, etc., and Webers is always first on my list I give to out-of-towners.
Celebrating a birthday enjoyed meal and service. The drive from Redford,Mi was worth it.
Nice restaurant in cute boutique hotel. Our server did a very good job. And live jazz duo was a great touch!
good brunch - varied items - although no bacon - whats a buffet without BACON? Wait staff very friendly and allowed eggs Benedict as a substitute. $12.50 good price - + coffee at $2.50 - but coffee was weak - overall good breakfast - scrambled eggs very good.
Amazing dining experience. Bartender was awesome, great food & great service.
All was good, except my potatoes were cold, and the worst part, my $30 steak was very tough.
The food and service is always very good and they did not disappoint. It was a bit warm in the dining room but overall a very good experience.
Food and service were both spectacular. We will definitely be dining here again - was a great way to spend our 10 year wedding anniversary!
Weber's is a long time, traditional favorite. The food is always well prepared, the staff is friendly and efficient.
Webers offers the best prime rib in the area. Delicious. A good and reasonably priced wine list and many other menu options. friendly and attentive service.
Very nice place
Special occasion place to go and eat
We have been dining at Weber's for many years now. We are frequent diner club members and go for there special occasions. We haven't been back in a while because the last time we went, we had gone for brunch which was a let down. Then, we went for a dinner and some of our favorite items were no longer on the menu (the seared tuna, the crab stuffed dover sole, and the coconut shrimp.) They used to have a lot more choices on the menu, but unfortunately, the choices that they now have are not as diverse, or as good. My husband got the Chilean Sea Bass and he said it was good, but would probably get something different next time. I ordered the blue crab stuffed shrimp (4 medium sized shrimp with about a tablespoon of crab in each.) I am sorry to say that they were ridiculously overdone and rubbery, the crab was not very appetizing as it was very drippy and mushy and the cream sauce was way too greasy and bland, and this was a $31 dish. The side I chose was truffled mac and cheese (they used to have great mac and cheese, but I guess they felt the need to change that, too.) This new version was so greasy and the breadcrumb topping was crazy salty. We had to scrape it off so it would be somewhat edible. Their kids meals are pretty basic. The salad we chose was lacking in lettuce and overkill on the dried cranberries and almonds. We didn't return anything or say anything to the waitress, as it was a special occasion, and didn't want to focus on this. But I felt the need to tell them somehow in a review, as I really hope they read them and get it together and do a better job with their food. Their service and atmosphere are amazing. When it comes down to it, people want to enjoy the food they are paying for, as well. Bring back the tuna, coconut shrimp and dover sole and the old mac and cheese. We really do want to continue to be frequent diners...not sure how many more chances we can give.
