Four of us stayed at the hotel owned by the same family and we received a meal credit, so we decided to try it. It was our best meal on a four day trip! Everything was great - escargots, lobster bisque, wedge salad, prime rib, filet mignon! Not a single complaint about the food! Our service was also impeccable! She was always there when we needed her and very thorough. We did have an incident with something and the owner came and spoke to us to resolve it. How many times do you have a restaurant owner on location to take care of a problem!? Would definitely recommend this restaurant!
Food is pricey but very good. Excellent service!
We were completely taken with Weber’s restaurant. The food, service, and value were outstanding. Our server walked us through the menu, emphasizing their focus on steak and lobster. She was quite helpful and gave us plenty of time between courses. I hate to have food come all at once instead of being in stages, and our meal was perfectly timed. The appetizer of sautéed mushrooms on toast was superb and a huge serving as well. We both enjoyed every morsel. My scallops were excellent with sautéed zucchini, bell peppers of different colors and onions. The entree was wonderful. My husband had beef tenderloin and raved about his dinner. And we had fresh bread with butter and a salmon spread. The ambience is old school with a variety of people at the tables (which have wonderful white tablecloths) and the prices were phenomenally low. I couldn’t believe that our large appetizer was so inexpensive. The prices are truly remarkable as is the food. We heavily recommend it. A great find in the Ann Arbor dining scene.
We had a delightful dinner tonight to celebrate our anniversary. We realized we should visit Weber’s more often.
We arrived early for our reservation and they were very accomodating and had us seated within 5 minutes.
The service is always excellent and the prime rib was spot on this night. We were with family and everyone enjoyed it and was happy with their food.
We have been to Weber's for Sunday brunch a few times, but the last time we found the food -- such as eggs, sausages, potatoes -- to be lukewarm instead of hot. Also, some of the chinaware at the table was dirty and one fork was missing. The dishwasher seems to have run out of rinse, as the dishes were spotty. In addition, there were no sneeze guards at the buffet, which I believe is a health violation. The waffles and sliced ham were great as always, and Weber's is still a good place for Sunday brunch, particularly if they resolve some of the issues listed above.
We always go to Webers the night before a football game that we are in town for. Prime rib is outstanding and very reasonably priced. The house salad is delicious. Webers never changes. Has been a great restaurant for decades.
The salad and clam chowder and lobster bliss were great. The main course flalmaon, prime rib, and seafood meddle were good also.
My grandson was home from North Carolina and my grandaughter was home Spain. Great family time. Weber's has always accommodated my request for a quiet table. My husband has a hearing disability and noisy areas are problematic for him. Very enjoyable evening.
We were disappointed for the first time at Weber’s. Service was SLOW and we were not seated at a booth as requested. The music was a different genre and louder than usual. We were celebrating a special occasion and all of these offputting items added up to a less than positive experience.
Steaks were good. Very good service. Nice ambiance with live music at adjoining bar.
unfortunately we had a new waitress who knew nothing about food
food was good but a manager had to reorder a few things
Fantastic service and food.
Second time we have been to Webers and both times the food was great! All of our appetizers we good and the fish and steak entrees were also great. We will definitely go back next time we are in Ann Arbor.
Fantastic dinner as always the prime rib was superb!
Tasty prime ribs and great service. Perfect kid’s meal for my hungry boys. Many good choices for soup.
I am a regular customer and I always feel like part of the Weber family. Service is consistently good and everyone is very friendly.
Overall what I expected when dining at Weber’s. Was greeted when I walked in the door with a helllo and how can I help you. As I was still expecting the rest of my party to show, the hose just asked if she if could see me and then she would bring the rest of my party to the table. I opted to wait in the front for the rest my party and she was OK with that. The service however once we did get seated was very slow there was multiple times of that I had ran out of water or out of soda which I was drinking. Food came out hot and tasty and nice size portions as ours..
The prime rib is always delicious. Ask for fresh horseradish. The service is great - friendly and polite. Extensive and reasonably priced wine list. A true Ann Arbor institution that this New Yorker always loves visiting
Mairia was an excellent server. Great food tonight.
We were super excited to try this place out; we stayed in the hotel and didn’t want to leave for dinner. Host was very pleasant and seated us promptly. Our server Barbara
Always been a great place. Incredible service with quality food in every meal
Absolutely one of the best restaurant in Ann Arbor
I have always wanted to get to this restaurant. The service and food were amazing. We were celebrating an engagement and the whole family enjoyed the spectacular meal!
I found the food much more mediocre than usual (Sunday buffet). While service was very gracious, very slow in bringing out our orders of hash browns. Also the wide brimmed coffee cups result in coffee getting cold very quickly. I have eaten at Weber's other times and found it much better, especially if ordered from menu and not the buffet.
They put us all alone in a separate area in the back, and basically forgot us.
ordered medium cut Prime rib. asked the server prior to ordering what I should expect with that cut since I normally prefer my prime rib to be thicker cut. he indicated the medium cut would be fairly thick. it arrived at our table, extremely thin! even too thin to be the smallest cut in my opinion. I questioned whether or not I had the wrong cut, he said he questioned it with the kitchen and they confirmed it was the medium cut. shortly after, the manager arrived at my table to mention the thin cut, told me to wait a few that he would bring a thicker cut to me. when it arrived, it was just as thin as the original. they should have at least only charged me for the small cut, as both the server and the manager acknowledged that it was extremely thin. But nope, got charge full price... $30! the flavor was quite good, and I did eat it, but it was not what I set out for that evening. very disappointed.
Nice atmosphere, good food, variety of entrees, Service was friendly and accurate cole slaw had more mayo than veggies.
We went to Weber's for Sunday brunch and , as usual, it was great. They have modified the buffet routing since the last time we were there and it seemed to have helped with the traffic pattern. Coffee was especially great. The waitress told us it was their own blend.
We always choose Webers for gatherings. Great food and entertainment/dancing afterwards. We were not thrilled with the band this past weekend, but once again the food and ambiance was spot on!
Here' the thing about Webers... after many years of eating here, it's a crapshoot. One in four times is amazing...everything outstanding across the board, then you might get a pretty nice meal with an overcooked steak or some insanely oversalted tuna tossed in but overall pretty darn good, then three and four can be just terrible...all steaks cooked incorrectly, salad limp and tasteless, pasta undercooked.. drinks just meh. So if your looking for an outstanding meal served in a nice quiet classy atmosphere served by skilled waitstaff...you have a roughly 1 in 4 chance of that. That said we still go back because it's very close to home, you can usually get seated and when they are who they think they are they are outstanding.
An off night I guess, but coming off of a string of off nights, we sense a pattern setting in. Service was lackluster and very slow. Lamb chops way overcooked, scalloped potatoes very overcooked, so more like mashed potatoes. Beef Wellington app is not mini Beef Wellingtons as described, but 5 tiny tough, well done, leftover beef cubes wrapped in puff pastry. Used to be such a great place, new chef really not as good as previous chef. Sides and main dishes and apps no longer as good as they were. Changed menu but not for the better. Bring back Weber's from a couple of years ago. Also, hostess wanted to seat us in no man's land but we requested a different area. NO ONE was back there for the entire 2 hours we were there, why would they even consider seating us there. Also, on more than one occasion not very friendly, and after I mentioned we made reservations through open table, they told open table we didn't show up for reservation. Very annoying.
The food is usually excellent. This visit the food wasn't as good. Hopefully, it was a fluke. Weber's is one of our favorite restaurants, so we do plan to return. Despite the meal we had this time, I would recommend Weber's, especially for a special occasion.
I went to the Liverpool vs. Manchester soccer game at the Big House with my friend and we decided to go to Weber's afterwards. As always is the case, the food, service and atmosphere were all excellent! I have been dining at Weber's for at least 36 years and have always enjoyed each experience. The quality of food, consistency of service and inviting environment are what makes Weber's so special to me. I have a great many fond memories of dining at Weber's...... and I plan on many more years and memories in the future!
Noise level above hearing level. Could not converse with each other
It was my fiancé’s birthday. The wait staff in the restaurant were professional and courteous the food was absolutely delicious the room was very relaxing in the hot tub I almost fell asleep. It was a wonderful experience.
We took our visiting grandson for Sunday brunch and we all enjoyed it very much. The selection is varied and everything very tasty. I especially enjoy the mini waffles and fruit sauces/whipped cream. Excellent value, not overly expensive. The elegant table linens and professional service is an added plus.
I sent in a reservation to propose to my girlfriend over a month beforehand, and when I arrived, the table was reserved, and the staff was aware. We had the perfect table, the perfect waitress, and the entire staff was nice. The proposal went amazing, with an ovation from other diners and the staff which made her (and us) feel that much more special in our moment. The food was delicious, and the cake was amazing! I can honestly say that even though we live in Madison WI, when we come back to visit her parents in Ann Arbor, this will be a location to have a PERFECT date night. The manager gave us a bottle of champagne on the house, and let me tell you, that really made me feel that we were in the right location. Not because it was offered but because I feel that it just showed how the staff are willing to go above and beyond to make sure that we enjoyed ourselves and celebrated. This place will always have a place in my heart and who knows, maybe we will get married here in a few years 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to celebrate ANYTHING. Best of luck to the crew, and I would thank them for an eternity on helping to make my proposal a special one.
The food was delicious, service great, the bar exciting but too many kids running around in the dining room and we had the bad luck of sitting next to a noisy family and it was our anniversary dinner. I don't blame the restaurant for the kids screaming but that was the only negative part. Maybe consider making a family section of the dining room in the future?
