Weber's Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Service was top notch. Our waiter had our food out in no time and was there anytime we needed anything. Steak wasn’t well seasoned and the blue cheese crust was not melted it was burnt which was a bummer for the price we paid. The mood was perfect for a date night or special occasion even on a busy night. It’s always a good thing when the parking lot is full and your seated right away. Will definitely give them another shot, but will order something different.
The tables were jammed together, it was hard to move in and out. The noise levels were pretty high, probably because so many people were crowded together. The wait staff were not as attentive as I expected them to be. It took longer than expected times to have the table cleared of dishes and to get refills on beverages.
A bakery cake had been ordered for a birthday. When I receive the bill, there was a cake cutting fee that is not advertised $2.00 per person. I objected when I saw it on the bill and was eventually removed.
It was not what I had expected.
All in all it was good. It was a little frustrating that our reservations were for 12:30pm and they stop serving brunch at 1pm. So those of us who selected the buffet had to deal with limited selections (there were empty dishes on the buffet). I would suggest they keep it filled until all patrons are served or don't take reservations so late.
Sunday Brunch is our family favorite. Our Nov. 5th visit had the best and freshest selection of food items. Our server was eager to serve us and kept the coffee and whatever we needed on the table. We enjoy Webers and will continue to celebrate our grandchildren's birthdays there.
First time there. The food was great and the service what you would expect for a restaurant of this caliber (excellent). Unfortunately we were there on a night when the place was filed with Michigan football fans waiting to catch the bus to the game. Noisy crowd in an otherwise subdued atmosphere.
We usually go to Webers for the buffet before the Michigan football game. This visit there wasn't a buffet so we ordered from the menu. We both ordered the Ruben sandwich and found the corned beef to be very tough. That said this was the first unsatisfactory meal we have gotten from Webers.
Was absolutely surprised by the decor and ambiance. Very thoughtfully designed with service from employees personally committed to their jobs. First time experience, will certainly be back again. Take the time to tour the hotel and atrium area including the pool. Poolside rooms with circular stairs down to the deck... a must see from an architectural perspective. Surprised and delighted indeed!
We went for Sunday brunch at 11:30am. The place was over crowded. The food was good for the price, but selections were not filled quickly. The flow of the buffet was horrible, it was hard to navigate and just way to crowded. Our server was the absolute worst. She actually took my plate , had it in her hand and said Are you finished?, which I was not. She also gave us a bill for
7 diners, we only had 3. The piano player was nice, but I would think because of the crowd, you could use that space for more room. Felt a little claustrophobic to me. Would go back for and try dinner, but never the brunch again.
We tend to eat here a few times a year and were pleasantly surprised in some decor updating in addition to the always reliable excellent food. The new lighting really adds a contemporary feel to the "old bones" of the restaurant. We both enjoyed the always good prime rib. Easily a 10/10 experience on "game day".
Dined with six business colleagues. It is our go to restaurant for a nice lunch for our office as it has a very nice ambiance and there is something for everyone on the menu. Our visit yesterday was no exception! We all had a difficult time choosing as everything sounded so yummy! Our table ordered the crab stuffed shrimp entrée, crab cake sandwich, crab cake entrée, salmon entrée and tuna club sandwich. Everyone loved their lunches! With the delicious bread selection and the house salad or soup du jour, we were too full to eat dessert! However, we made some selections (carrot cake, bumpy cake and vanilla cheesecake with raspberry sauce) and took them to-go and ate them back at the office. The service was excellent too! Can't wait for our next lunch!
We went for a weekend getaway and ate at Weber's. When we arrived, we were staying at the hotel overnight and had a reservation for dinner at 7pm. We told the hostess our name and she asked if we wanted a booth. We said yes... When she was looking at the "map" for a table when two people walked up behind us. The hostess said, "hi Heather!," then asked my husband and I to step aside so she could seat them.... oddly enough she came back and suddenly didn't have any booths left. Lo and behold we went to be seated and guess who had a booth? The Heather girl. We were staying overnight because I had an appointment at U of M for chronic pain but these people get a booth. Okay. The waitresses were not very good and not really professional. I believe the one was training another but they never actually introduced themselves. It took at least 15 minutes to get a drink each time one of us ordered. Every time we would say 'thank you,' the waitress would just say, "uh huh," instead of being polite and saying 'thank you.' I just found them to be less attentive to their tables compared to others. Oh and then we had a voucher for staying in the Resort Suite for $75 towards our dinner. The front desk at the hotel told us to mention it when we were seated at dinner so we did. No one had any idea what to do with us at that point... pretty annoying. Anyways, the food was pretty good and the piano player was very nice.
