Prime Rib for lunch? At a discounted price?!! Superb each and every time we visit.
Food was simply outstanding! Prime rib as well as the London Broil. Prices very reasonable.
Stellar wine list, elegant without being stuffy, superbly professional service, and well—executed dishes from a varied and large menu. Prime rib is beautifully roasted and seasoned, & seafood selection is excellent. Birthday gets you a free entree. Delightful experience.
Weber's is one of the best restaurants in the Ann Arbor area. We have been dining at Weber's for lunch and dinner for over 50 years.
Our waitress, Emily, was a wonderful waitress. Excellent and outstanding work! The food was delicious and fresh!
When I arrived at the restaurant at 10:07 pm for my 10:00 pm reservation I initially was told they were closed. Once I explained I had reservations then I was told we would have to sit in the bar area and both menus were the same. Once we sat down the same waiter brings a menu that has very limited selections. When asked about the full menu we we told that’s not available after 10....yes I was as confused as you are reading this. I won’t ever attempt to visit this place again
The food is always excellent, the service is always terrible. We were sat very close to the piano and it was difficult to hear eachother over the table.
The restaurant was extremely hot, humid and uncomfortable. Despite telling our waiter, there no attempt to make the temperature more comfortable. Our waiter was sweating as he served and kept wiping his brow several times while serving us.
Additionally, the hostess greeted us asking who the birthday person was. Despite putting that on the app and reservation request, my husband got no wishes nor a celebratory dessert as the 3 other table around us got.
Ac wasn't working well, waited over 5 minutes before waitress even ask for drink order. We all ordered water and it was another 5 mins. before it was brought to us. They weren't busy at all. then it was at least 15 minutes before she came back for food order. people that came in after us had there food way before we did. I ordered scallops and the inside was slimy, my wife ordered prime rib and it was possibly the worst cut she had ever had. She was able to eat just a small portion, and said that the flavor was very good.
A wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion.
Had a wonderful server. She was new but already had mastered the menu and was very attentive without being intrusive. Food and appetizers were great.
Great service, food and ambiance. Old school steakhouse the way it should be done! Eaten here a number of times. Never disappointed!
Our waitress, Kate, was excellent. The piano player was a great bonus.
Food was excellent from the bread bowl to the entree. I tasted why they are famous for their prime rib very delicious as were the homemade mashed potatoes and the salad. Justin was our waiter he was new but it didn’t seem like it he gave excellent service.
While they are well known for their prime rib that is very good. My favorite entre is their miso sea bass, which is absolutely incredible. We also enjoyed their escargot and calamari.
Really great food, good value, and a good live piano player. Overall a very positive experience.
The hostess was delightful and helpful. Sapphire, our waitress, was very attentive and made us all feel very welcome. The pianist was charming. He came to our table to see if we had any requests.
As for the food: perfect!
I think that Weber's is first class.
It’s always a great meal and we love the ambience! Drive from Jackson every month or so, occasionally catching an afternoon matinee down the street before dining.
The appetizers, soup, salad, steaks, and side dishes were excellent and the service was superb! I would definitely go back!
Service was poor. Food was not too bad...nothing spectacular but good for the price. Piano dude was berry good and the noise level was good.
Birthday, Fathers Day
Having worked in the food service industry, it takes a lot for me to write a bad review. But frankly, I haven’t had a worse dinner than this in a long time. Each course was more and more of a disappointment. The escargot had no flavor, the lobster bisque... I don’t even know that I can call it that, it was so bad... the seafood linguine had almost no seafood and the sauce was nonexistent. And the homemade ice cream was not labeled as a flavor, so I assumed that it was vanilla. To my surprise it was salted caramel. They really leaned into the whole salted idea though because it felt like I was licking a salt mine while eating it. While the live music set a nice tone and the service was great, it couldn’t make up for the arm and a leg I had to pay (even with the restaurant week deal) for this less than mediocre meal.
We went there for the restaurant week. Although we reserved a table in advance, we were still asked to wait for 20 min before we were seated. The prime rib was great, and it is my favorite all the time. The service was great, too! The escargot we had and ice cream was quite savory somehow.
Overall a very good restaurant and I believe they have the best deal for Ann Arbor restaurant week.
Service was phenomenal and every person on staff seemed genually happy to be there even though it was busier with restaurant week
I was there 3 yrs ago and nothing's changed: Seriously watered-down cocktails. Food bland, dry, or tough depending on what it was.
Didn't care for lobster grilled cheese sandwich but might have been a personal preference
Went here for restaurant week. Exceptional meal.
We went for restaurant week. The food here was absolutely amazing! Would highly recommend!
It was great. We were there for our anniversary. The prime rib was outstanding and my wife said the same for her seared scallops. We WILL be back.
When making reservations online, there was a selection for special occasion. I checked birthday. In the comment box I wrote it was my wife's 50th birthday. At the restaurant when I arrived, I told the host the same thing. Nothing was mentioned or done. I had to tell our server when he brought our bill about my wife's birthday. It wrecked any surprise. I expected more from this caliber of dining.
I don't know what the purpose was making those selections online. The food and everything else was fine.
Our first time eating at this restaurant. Despite it being restaurant week the quality was amazing, everything was top notch. Will definitely eat there again.
Needless to say, the food is always excellent @ Webers - that is why we visit regularly. However, during AA restaurant week the level of service drops a bit. While it is understandable, I wouldn't want a 'first timer' to assume that is the best service Weber's can provide. our reservation was for 6:30, and my husband and I were seated @ 7:00. thank you.
A reliable hotel restaurant that has been around for ages. Our last visit was just so-so. The mussels were not the plump morsels we had on previous visits and the main courses were also a bit off; we were surprised. Over the years we have had many pleasant meals at Webers.
We visited Weber's during Restaurant week. We got more great food than we would handle. The Beef Wellington "first course" could have been sufficient for a lunch. Weber's put their best foot forward and certainly encouraged us to return.
Normally Weber’s is great but during restaurant week on Sunday we waited close to 20 minutes after we arrived for our 1:30 reservations. The service seemed rush and not as friendly. Also we had to ask for bread that was normally brought to the table. I guess every good restaurant can have an off night.
We have been to your restaurant a few times now and will be returning again soon. It has always been a pleasure and we have told many friends about it too. Personally I prefer the new updated part of your restaurant and will ask in future but at the end of the day it is still a great place to spend a lunch or dinner with or without friends in any part of your restaurant.
Our 8th Wedding Anniversary
Enjoyed our favorite meals at Weber’s for my wife’s birthday. The food was scrumptious, have not found a place that does Lobster Thermador as well as they do at Weber’s. Place was busy which caused some delay in ordering dinner and getting our check but everything else was wonderful.
Very family-friendly. You even get help holding your infant!
