We've dined for dinner here for almost 20 years and I forgot when I made a reservation for 12:00 pm on a Sunday that they served a buffet. This was not our best experience for a birthday there nor because we were almost forced to eat from the breakfast buffet rather than the menu due to where our table was located.
We will likely go there again, but hope not to have the same bad experience.
Everything was great! Service was very good. Food was delicious. Cocktails were splendid. I would only suggest changing the vent registers that line the seating area. They were a bit gross.
The food was fantastic! The waitress had no personality at all and overcharged us for our sides.
Had another nice birthday dinner at Weber's...We have been going here for years!...Nathan was a great server on March 23, 2019. We will be back.
The menu is always excellent. Prime rib is the best. Wine list superior and service is always top notch. I would recommend for a date night or a party. Great every time.
My favorite restaurant! You can actually talk to the people you are with and listen to beautiful piano music while enjoying a wonderful meal.
Mashed potatoes were instant out of a box, mushroom appetizers were pieces out of a can instead of whole tables packed so tightly you couldn't get up without everyone moving
The Weber's Reservation Desk may have lost our Reservation. The young woman at the desk when we arrived indicated by her reactions that our reservation was there. But when we were eventually seated 30 minutes later (10 minutes after our reservation time) the woman working the desk could not find it in their computer. Either the young woman deleted it in error, or the reservation never made it to Weber's from Open Table.
The young staff was completely bamboozled by Brunch customers over-staying into the Lunch/Dinner menu time frame. The restaurant has multiple side rooms which easily handled the earliest Lunch/Dinner guests while the Brunch crowd slowly dispersed and the Brunch Buffet was dismantled.
Luckily an experienced Staff member arrived at the Reservation/Seating Desk who was able to deduce and enact this simple plan. Otherwise, our 30 minute wait for a table may have been extended to an hour until the Brunch customers in the Main Dining room all left.
If you go for breakfast/brunch order from the menu and not the buffet. There were five of us, and all were disappointed with the quality of the food on the buffet. Our waitress did not tell us we had the option to order from the menu because having been to the breakfast buffet once before, I would have ordered from the menu. Both platter of scrambled eggs were cold and running, and either the sausage gravy or the accompanying biscuits had an odd flavor. I will not go back a third time.
We went on a Saturday night with a group of 6. Around 9pm a live band started playing and lots of people started dancing. It was totally unexpected and really fun!
State Swim team with parents. Two tables of six.
Food was okay but nothing special, waitress took our order, never saw her again until she brought the bill. Plus it was really tight in the restaurant, booths had six, seven people at them. Chairs protruding in the aisle.
I have been living in the Ann Arbor area for about 15 years and finally made a visit to Weber's. The overall visit was great! Our server Kaitlyn was a great ambassador for the facility. She checked on us a couple of times, but didn't "helicopter" over us. Also she was kind enough to assist my partner, who is handicapped, navigate the steps out of the dinning room. A great overall cap to a fine evening.
I went to a birthday dinner with a medium party including children. The highlights were the service and ambiance that included a pianist, and it really felt like a restaurant for a special occasion. The lowest price entree is free if you submit your license and it's your exact birthdate. The kids' dinner options were great including a prime rib option along with the usual junk food that kids love, but unfortunately no special desserts for kids, other than ordering an ice cream scoop. The desserts were outstanding overall and the entrees, particularly the prime rib, were very good.
Excellent steak restaurant. Every time we travel to Michigan we make sure we eat at Webers.
This was our first visit to Weber's. We have talked about coming for years for one of our birthdays and this year we just happen to have the day off. The food was outstanding dot-dot-dot probably the best prime rib we have ever had. The mashed potatoes were also excellent. We started with Bloody Marys, lobster bisque soup and a crab cake. All were awesome. The only slight thing to murder the perfect meal was I felt the waitress was rushing us. She brought our bill before I had finished eating, although she did ask if I wanted a carryout box at the time. All in all a very very nice experience and we will be back again!
Love Webers - had Dinner and Brunch on the weekend. Always a great place.
Excellent experience. The food was amazing, we had dinner and brunch the next morning. Would highly recommend!
From appetizer to dessert the food was exceptional. The service was spot on even though the restaurant was full.
The piano player is wonderful.
The food was good, prices a little high but the service was great.
The space was tight. We kept hitting each other knee and feet while hitting. Barely got squeezed into a booth.
Food was great and the live piano player created a good atmosphere without being overbearing. I also wish I could give 6 stars for the value.
Sunday buffet was excellent and loved the piano music
Pros-Very nice ambiance and most of the food at the Brunch Buffet was good.
Cons- The eggs are slimy/wet.
I wish there was bacon.
Our server or a bus person should have cleared used plates more promptly.
Everything was great. Our waiter was very personable and attentive. My wife's salmon was cooked perfectly and it was possibly the best prime rib I ave had in my life. The Key Lime Pie was outstanding as well.
We had Prime Rib that was the best we ever had from a restaurant and crab legs were perfect but overpriced service was great also. Overall our experience there was great
We have come to Webbers brunch on many occasions. This time however was different, the food was not good. We found that the sausage gravy was cold, and the biscuits were rock hard. And in general the food was just not to Webbers standards. Our service on the other hand was excellent! This was a disappointing morning for us, and probably won't return.
We met up with some long time friends for Sunday morning brunch and enjoyed our time tremendously!
Our annual anniversary dinner. As always the food and service were excellent. I really enjoys Weber’s.
Our dinner at Weber’s was terrific. The traditional chophouse decor of wood, dark leather booths and low lighting gives an elegant and comfortable feel. The live pianist is a nice touch. My wife and son had steaks and I had Weber’s famous prime rib. Fantastic all around, on par with some of the best steakhouses in New York and Chicago. The salads and the sides were excellent and the beef was perfectly cooked. We ordered specialty cocktails and they were very good. But the most shocking thing are the prices. By New York standards, where I’m from, the prices are ridiculously low. But even by Ann Arbor standards Weber’s is an incredible value. $29.00 for a 14 ounce NY strip including salad and potato? That is crazy. At any of the other Ann Arbor “steakhouses” the tab would easily be twice that or more. My wife kept saying through the meal “why haven’t we been coming here - this is amazing!” Our waiter Andreas was exemplary. He was professional, helpful but not smothering, and his suggestions for food and cocktails were all spot on. As good and professional a server as I’ve had anywhere in the world. By every measure, Weber’s is a real find. Something you want to keep secret so prices don’t rise and you can’t get a reservation, but yet you want to shout to the rooftops how amazing it is.
Went to see the band (Atomic Radio Band) that was playing that evening. Dinner was good but desert was so so (chocolate cake seemed a little stale😐). The dance floor is kinda small so it was a little difficult to dance.
We were celebrating my husband's birthday, the music, food, and service was amazing. It was a very nice evening.
Dined here for my daughter’s 19th birthday. Excellent experience!
One of the best spots in Ann Arbor. The food is fantastic, the service is excellent and the atmosphere is good for everything from a quiet table in the back to a lively dinner near the piano bar. We go at least twice a month and Weber's never disappoints.
The best Prime Rib! Our server Brandon was a delight, we are frequent dinners and are always amazed by the level of service.
Everything was very nice, but the piano was playing too loud. It would be more pleasant to have it on the background rather then that loud.
Dinner was very enjoyable due to considerate service and a romantic, relaxing atmosphere. Loved the pianist and candlelit tables.
Wonderful dinner on Valentine’s Day weekend! We really appreciated Weber’s fulfilling our request for a booth on a busy Saturday night. The waitstaff was great and never made us feel rushed. The food, as always, was wonderful. We can’t wait for another excuse to come to Ann Arbor and return to Weber’s!
There was a large table of loud kids right behind us and it ruined our night. It was my 66th birthday and I was disappointed in that.
