Weber Grill - Schaumburg Ratings and Reviews
My (pregnant) wife has been craving steak! We came for Valentine's Day and had a blast. The kitchen is filled with modified Weber grills and it smells fantastic–just like summer time. My wife had an amazing steak and I had the full slab of BBQ ribs. Both items had that amazing grilled taste, of course. Great spot for a date!
This occasion was Valentines day and we were looking for a great steak and lobster. My wife was very pleased with the lobster and her filet (prime rib and lobster for me-yum). Weber in Schaumburg is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is always excellent whether looking for a steak, barbecue (ribs and brisket-both are very good) or a burger for lunch. The staff is always excellent in providing service which is both friendly and attentive. Dave the manager is great and his belief is that every customer should leave with that warm feeling you get from good food, company and a relaxed atmosphere. This night Enrique waited on us and the service was over the top. I do not want to forget to mention the front desk either. When you walk in there is always a smile to greet you even on the busiest nights, it seems to be especially so when Annie is on. I highly recommend Weber Grill in Schaumburg for any occasion.
Dan, our server, recommended the Valentine's Day Special - the salmon with pomegranate glaze. We are both salmon lovers and were intrigued with the preparation-we usually have the bourbon glazed planked salmon. So glad we tried this! Hope it will be a regular offering on the menu! Loved the grilled pineapple upside down cake for dessert-yummy!
Dad was a very attentive and helpful server - we'll ask for his table again!
Quiet during the Big Game. Dinner in the bar area was good, our group of four were all satisfied with our ribs or steaks. Service was ok, have had better from this location but good enough. Dessert of upside down pineapple cake and ice cream was very good, great coffee to do is. Will visit again...
Dinner is always great there and great service but the only problem i have is with the seating. Even when i have reservations i still have to wait 20 -25 minutes to be seating and i really don't like that. Because i see people come right in an be seated but i have to wait. I REALLY dislike that
I was concerned when I could see a plate of food under the heat lamps for quite some time (over 20 minutes)it turned out to be mine. The manager actually brought the food to the table so I asked him why my food sat there so long. He immediately apologized and for me a fresh one right away. That’s a good manager. Taking care of the customer without question. They also tried to give us a dessert in the house which we declined. We were there to enjoy lunch. Not try to get something free. Food was very nicely done
While our waitress was very sweet and try to be attentive, she was assigned to too many tables and service was slow with food delivery also. Because waitress does not serve the meal, the person serving the meal did not realize that she was missing portions of our order. In the end we waited so long for side dishes we ordered that we actually decided not to have them and ask them to be removed from our bill. As a result the value for the money was not very high.
If the restaurant is going to have mainly grocery store wines on their wine list, they should consider allowing diners to bring in wine and then charge a corkage fee. Many top end restaurants allow this. Very disappointed with the wine list, thought they could do better.
