Always a pleasant experience, host was polite and waiter was attentive. Food was delicious!
Nothing like Steaks on the "Barbee"
Four for a birthday celebration and it was meat all around.
Ribs, Prime Rib, BBQ Beef Brisket and Top Sirloin were all prepared over the charcoals in the massive Weber grills in the kitchen. All were done to perfection.
This visit was a big improvement over our last visit a couple of years ago. We were hesitant to return, but it was where the birthday folks wanted to go. It turned out well for all of us.
Pretty busy for a Wednesday,
Food was very good.
Was sat in back room, didn’t seem to be the same experience.
Server was a little hard to understand.
Service was ok.
The appetizer taste was a nice touch for first time visit.
Good food. But stick to the burgers. Good service. But orders are slow to arrive. Good ambiance. But way too loud for normal conversation. I said I would recommend it to a friend. But only if the friend knew the above circumstances in advance.
Great food and fantastic service. Good for lunch or dinner.
Special lunch with a coworker who was leaving our company. Food was ok. Service was ok. Nothing spectacular. $60 for two for lunch.
Once again outstanding staff, ambiance, food and service. One of Chicago’s best restaurants. I have been coming here for the last three years and it keeps getting better each visit.
Everything about our experience was great! We have three young children and they loved it! We would recommend Weber Grill and we will be back.
Overall can’t say we were too impressed with the service or ambiance - Especially for how expensive this place is!We were celebrating a birthday- which was noted on the Open Table reservation; however, not sure the point of letting them know that because they never brought any sort of complimentary dessert for the birthday person or even acknowledged it. We sat in a small room that is often used for more private meetings (which is where I have sat in the past for private business meeting) and the lighting in the room was very bright - much like sitting on an airport runway - not like a romantic date night type ambiance. And it was never even dimmed after we said something to the hostess immediately When we sat down. All she said is “oh really!?” Long waits in between serving of courses. Waitress was nice & friendly but can’t say we were impressed with the overall service. Never saw the manager come back in the room- for the hour and 15 minutes we were there - to check on anything. The pretzel rolls were burned on the bottom - both baskets that were brought to the table at separate times. The asparagus on my dinner plate was cold;. however, the ribeye, porkchops and macaroni and cheese were outstanding- As well as the crab cake appetizer!! On our way out - I even asked a woman at the hostess stand who
I believe was a manager - about what we would get with celebrating a birthday when it was noted on the reservation - she confirmed it was noted & the birthday person should’ve gotten a little cake & she would have to talk to the server about it. Personally I think that is something she should’ve said she would have offered to send with us (since we were headed out the door)- It’s the little things that can make or break a good experience- Especially when the overall experience wasn’t fabulous. And it wasn’t worth complaining about when we were there because we were trying to have an enjoyable date night evening & celebrate a birthday. We had cake at home.
Appetizers were good and cocktails were just ok. Entrees were blah. My husband had the beer can chicken and it was dry and didn’t come with a vegetable side. Only mashed potatoes. I had the shrimp entree which came with over-roasted potatoes and no vegetable. Our server was very nice but towards the end of our meal he kind of disappeared. There were children everywhere which wouldn’t be a bad thing but the parents left them at one end of the table and were not paying any attention to them. Therefore, they ran amok. Great appetizers, good service, mediocre ambience and entrees.
It’s ok not sure I would go back
Great service and food was delicious!
We had a good time and enjoy the food at Weber Grill restaurant. Nice environment, good food.
Excellent Food, Service amazing!
The food was fantastic and a great deal with my kettle kash and the Restaurant week specials. However the service was subpar and not something expected from Weber. I had water as my beverage, and we were offered a flask for the table which we each (two of us) got two glass fulls from. However, this flask was not refilled, and I had no water for the last 30 or more minutes of my meal. The waitress did not offer to refill the flask or my glass. My partner had ordered lemonade and got one glass of that and was also not offered a refill. I would definitely recommend Weber Grill, but I would not recommend this waitress.
Prices increased since last time I dined in Weber. Food was great. Had a reservation for 7:15pm. When my name was called another person with my name who just came into the restaurant with my name came up for the table. I let the hostess know I had a reservation. But they seated those people before me. That is upsetting. They should have asked that couple to wait since I had a reservation and they didn’t. Shame on Weber.
Went with friends on a Saturday night. Had a great dinner. Nothing like a steak cooked on a charcoal grill. Our waiter wasn't very attentive, drinks empty at the table is a lost opportunity for the establishment. But loved the food. Bar area very small and crowded.
Birthday party was nice
The food was excellent and our steaks were cooked perfectly. The service was very good as the waiter gave us his favorite selections on the menu. It was a bit expensive.
The food always smells so enviting and my mouth gets hungry just walking in
The “smells” and food are great. Jeff was our waiter and very attentive. And manager visited to assure we were happy. Great experience
There was a fish and chips entrée on the special menu for today. It was cod fish on a flank with roasted potatoes with a side of coleslaw it was absolutely fabulous. You should make that a regular menu item.
Waitress was slower than what we usually receive at the location. This was most prevalent in brining drinks, bread, and coming to take our order. Generally, we never have a problem.
Nice people, good food, good atmosphere
Food and service were excellent.
Bread and salad came to the table quick, the main entre came a bit later than usual. Food is always great!
Pork chops were dry and filet taste was not as usual and seemed to be smaller than previous times
This was my first time here. I was celebrating my 40th birthday with a group of my good friends. Paul was our waiter and he took really good care of us. The food was amazing and the overall atmosphere was very classy. I will be returning soon😊
Always love coming here for birthdays and anniversaries. Make sure to become a Weber grill member for awesome perks!
Had reservations. Forced to stand for long period of time Saturday night. When we finally were seated we were stuck in a corner by the door in the bar. That was uncomfortable having people stand by you waiting for a table. Forced to watch curling or basketball in the bar. I hate curling.
Prime rib was very good but expensive. For $100 we had steak, potato, and a glass of wine?
The service was fast, and the food was delicious. I will definitely dine there again!
Food is good as usual. But noticed that the portions and choices have really shrunk.
Waiter was slow in collecting payment
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the food. We went out all because we made it our Valentine's date. Service was good and friendly. Only issue I had was that we went there looking forward to the prime rib, but they were all out. We had the ribeye instead which was excellent!
Food excellent like always, restaurant very busy Sunday night. Reservations always suggested to get seated quickly. Unfortunately service is slower when busy, not as good as when it's less busy.
Welcomed with bbq scent upon entering. Very friendly staff. The brisket was amazing! Great selection of local craft beers. The portions are spot on, we left full not overly stuffed. Great overall value.
Good food, good service, pleasant evening. Will be back
Celebrating the anniversary of my fathers passing. He loved this restaurant. So to honor him we enjoyed a great meal.
Great service, atmosphere, and food. Sangria was the best I had and the filet my husband had was the best ever tasted.
