It’s a great concept and the food is okay. Price point is definitely not worth the quality and/or type of food that’s offered. However, these prices may have been location specific. Service was not warming, but she wasn’t rude! I usually don’t write reviews and I’ve been using Open Table for many years. This place was okay, but I won’t be returning.
The food was good but not great. BBQ brisket was tender and tasty. Ribs were adequate but was expecting them to be excellent given that it was Weber Grill. Server friendly but a little forgetful. Overall seemed a little pricey but we were allowed to take our time and enjoyed ourselves.
We had a generally good experience however my chicken and vegetable bowl had to be returned based on the taste of spoiled chicken. It was resolved by bringing me a new dish and the staff was apologetic.
For the price it was not worth the money. Had to ask continually for items that should have been on the table. They did not bring the salad and we did not see our waiter between ordering dinner and it being brought out to ask for it. When I finally received the napkins that should have been on the table it was damp. We can say we tried the restaurant but we will not be going back.
The appetizers and drinks were ok. The main entrees were delicious but the child’s grilled cheese sandwich was lacking. The bread was overly toasted and only had one slice of cheese. I would have picked something else for my toddler if I would have known the lack of cheese and the bread being too hard. The restaurant was not busy and was a great temperature but there were so many nats/ small flies around our food it was difficult to eat. It felt like I was dining at a picnic table. Not what I would have expected for over a $300 meal.
Let me start by saying that we typically have great experiences here, but not on this day. We were 5 minutes early for our reservation and they ended up letting a last minute walk-in take our table. We then had to wait another 20 minutes before we got a table, in the back of the restaurant, no less. Once seated, we waited another 15-20 minutes and no waiter ever showed up. We ended up leaving without being served because of the poor service.
Our group ordered ribs, ny strip and brisket, all were well prepared and very tasty. The waitress was excellent, very attentive without being obtrusive, helpful on the menu items, and a good sense of humor. My first experience in this restaurant chain, I'll be back in the future
I'm mean, it's ok food. Not particularly memorable, but a decent night out with big portions.
Weber Grill has been a go to place for a special dinner. The revised menu with higher prices, smaller portions,& sides all a la Carte was a disappointment. The food was still great but service was poor and the restaurant wasn’t even full. Always knew this as a quality Family steakhouse, but over $175 for a family of three was a bit pricey.
Nice place, just personally did not like the food there.
The server was pleasant and responsive. The meal was just average nothing stood out as special. It’s been better in the past.
This was a first time for my party and we all loved the experience but for the pretzel rolls they were stale and as hard a a tennis ball, very disappointing. Otherwise everything was a great experience.! Thank you
The food was excellent. We ordered the brisket with a quarter slab of ribs and it was grilled to perfection. The service was also friendly and attentive. I will definitely be going back.
Our server Mo did a excellent job!
Our party requested patio seating, we were not informed that the patio was closed due to cooking class until we arrived.
The air conditioning was not working properly, it was extremely warm!! It basically ruined our evening, we would have stayed longer.
Great service and great food. Very enjoyable.
So glad my friends all met up here. Our server Kimberly was so helpful and knowledgeable about the menu items, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was great for a group of friends to dine at. Look forward to coming back soon!
We ask our server for extra time to enjoy our cocktails and she was very accommodating. Our appetizers were very tasty. Our main courses were plentiful ad very tasty. Our only issue was the Corn on the cob which was over cooked and not very tasty. Wine was fine but the house special Old Fashioned was not to the liking of either guest who ordered them.
First time at the restaurant, food was good and wine was everything for the price. Will be again.
This is my second time to Weber grill, but my first time at the Lombard location..I will mostly likely be back to this location simply because you don't have to pay for parking. The food was amazing as usual. My husband got the brisket and ribs, and I got the meatloaf. They both were delicious. We also got the White Cheddar mac and cheese and that was also delicious. I have a feeling anything on the menu is to die for, so you can't go wrong. I hope this helps to anyone looking for a nice, quiet and delicious dinner.
Lovely lunch!! Steak just right!! Great drinks!!!!
Our server Max was EXCELLENT AND SO ATTENTIVE! Wish all servers were like him.
We had a few good items and some great items as well. We will come back for sure!
Considering it was the Fourth of July the restaurant was busy with limited staff. With that being said the food was great and our waiter even though he was overwhelmed with customers he managed to be attentive to our table. The restaurant manager Felicia was also very attentive and went above and beyond to make sure our visit was a great experience.
We highly recommend Weber Grill Lombard for your dining pleasures.
The service was great the food and drink wasn’t that great!!!! I don’t know but in my opinion the food has changed tremendously
we came to weber grill based on our past experiences there. I totally understand that the brisket may be sold out. that's the chance one takes. however, to have run out of pretzel rolls is a little more puzzling. we were offered an appetizer gratis to make up for it but how does one run out of the very things you are known for? the menu has also changed and not for the better. many of the items seemed to have changed although our server let us know what had previously been removed and then brought back. my husband's burger was wonderful my half bbq chicken was just slightly warmed but very tender and juicy. I can tell that it spent some time brining. sadly, I would have to say that there are many other dining options that can offer a better value now.
We were looking for a steak that was reasonably priced and decided to try Weber. We were so pleased with the taste and quality of our steaks. Though pricey, after researching other steak restaurants, this place was slightly less expensive. The server was good too. So we will definitely be back again!
We usually get carry out, but thought we'd try dining. Took my parents out for their 69th anniversary which I had included on the reservation, but nothing was said. Anyhow, the waiter was friendly. I had the Plancha Seared Gulf Shrimp for $28. It was a medium sized dish with shrimp, potatoes, grilled green onion and a small garlic toast. My shrimp were rubbery and overcooked, but the sauce was tasty. Also, realized early on that we had to request bread for the table. The pretzel rolls came warm, but a little hard and dried out. The butter/cheese butter helped though.
Good food prepared on Weber grills. Nice variety of side options to compliment the main dish although sometimes slightly saltier than my preference. Service is attentive, respectful and timely.
Very good and waiter was very helpful. He even divided up our food on separate plates when we said we were spitting two entrees.
Good restaurant. I've eaten here many times. Service was great. Prime Rib was ok.
The new, smaller menu is very disappointing. No more bread and butter at the table, far fewer choices. This was not a change made with the customer in mind.
The service was excellent and the food was delicious!
I had a reservation and still had to wait a half hour. I asked not to be seated near the kitchen. I was seated with my guest in the room nearest the kitchen with the kitchen in view. I didn't realize I had to specifically ask to be seated in the dining room on the other side of the fireplace. Very disappointed. We were told the bartender was busy and our drinks would have to wait. We weren't served any bread during our wait. Yelp said you have to ask for bread because of the tremendous loss. Really??!! At $100 for dinner for two?!!
Maybe I’ll give it another try to be fair when it’s not too busy. The service was poor and the food wasn’t the best and it was cold. It was very noisy and children were running around the tables playing. The waiter came to the table several times to bring lemons, we had to ask for more water and refills for soda. The salad dressing was like water and the meat was too bland
Father’s Day was overwhelming the kitchen. The menu has changed and missing some favorites since our last visit. Quality of brisket was not great and everything seems over priced for portions and everything that’s a side is an a la carts extra charge. Service was stretched too thin to check on their tables. Perhaps management has changed?
Food was great, service was disappointing. Waitress was not very good, never brought bread to table seemed like she didn't want to be there, only checked on us 2 times wanted another drink had to ask Mgr. For drinks, wont stay If she's our waitress next time. If your having a bad day go home dont treat your customers like that
We love to go to Weber to celebrate special occasions. Nice atmosphere but food was not warm and not as good as prior visits.
