Weber Grill - Indianapolis Ratings and Reviews
I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to anyone. The service was outstanding the food was to die for. It was a overall wonderful experience. It will be our new must go to spot. The only complaint that I have is that Weber Grill has ruined me when it comes to steaks. I will never be able to get a steak that tastes that good anywhere else.
Open Table stated the restaurant has valet parking, which was crucial to our evening plans, but it turns out they do not, and this caused a delay. Once inside (we made it in time for our reservation) we had to wait in a crowded lobby area for about 15 minutes before being seated. Luckily we had an efficient and friendly server, who helped make our meal very pleasant. The wedge salad is large and delicious, and the ribs are terrific.
Best Filet I've ever had - apparently marinated w/ great charcoal flavor. Great green beans & mashed potatoe sises - but could have used bigger portion of potatoes, probably b/c they were so good. Personally, I thought dinner rolls were ho-hum, but my friend thought they were ok.
On her side, grilled shrimp were dry, probably over -grilled. Her grilled potato side was not very tasty either.
Ambiance was crowed after 6. We had 5:30 reservation, but at six there was a lot of sever traffic because of table array In room. I had to ask to move table to avoid noticeable and annoying brush -byes, by servers. Some may find this to be an energetic level fun, however.
In short, meat and sides were delicious; dinner rolls boring; jury still out on fish; atmosphere can become steak-housey during rush hours. I'll be back.
We had dinner with friends before Yuletide Celebration. Sat in a 6 seat booth and loved it as it made it easy for conversation. The only negative I’d say is we sat close to the kitchen and it was a little noisy. Food was very good. 2 has Bourbon Salmon and 4 has the Meatloaf. Everyone loved their meals.
Our server was great. Her name is Barbie.
My husband and I had an early dinner (~5:45pm) at Weber Grill prior to the Big Ten Championship game. I was pleasantly surprised by the menu. I ordered the special, Grilled Seafood dish, that was very good. The scallops were cooked great and the grilled vegetables had good flavor. My husband ordered the Teriyaki Flank Steak and said it was "amazing". He is usually very critical of how restaurants cook steak, however he was very satisfied with his meal. Service did an excellent job especially with how busy it was before the game. I think we would come back if given the chance.
We had a group of 8 for lunch on a Saturday. The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The drinks and food were served in a very reasonable time frame. Everyone had good things to say about the quality and taste of the food. In addition, one of the members of our group suffers from celiac disease and the restaurant had a good gluten free menu and took great care to avoid cross contamination. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
I made reservation on Open Table listing what I could have to eat since I have so many food allergies. They were ready for me. The chef even gave me his personal email to be sure they always have an unmarinaded chicken breast for me. My spinach salad was fresh and beautiful too. Wonderful service in all aspects.
Not pleased with the service or meal- our server Gregg did not appear to be with it today. I had ordered the 1/2 pound classic burger with (no lettuce) and pepper jack cheese with kettle chips. I got a third pound burger with cheddar cheese and coleslaw and a small plate of lettuce. Told the server that it was not what I ordered and he took my plate and returned a couple minutes later with another third pound burger with a piece of pepper jack that wasn’t even melted.
In the positive side my wife’s meal was what she ordered and it was very good.
It will be a while before I try this restaurant again since there are a lot of others downtown that I feel are a lot better
We enjoyed Weber Grill enough that we came back the following day to catch a game in the bar. Having sampled several things from our table, I would definitely recommend the burgers--probably the best I've ever had. Happy hour bar specials are good too. While this is a chain, it is not something we have locally, so we really enjoyed the meal and the overall concept of the restaurant.
Very bad Thanksgiving experience at Weber Grill. The waitress was horrible, not personable at all. Took longer than normal to bring rolls to the table, to refill coffee. Seemed to be angry before we got to the table. I made reservations two weeks prior to Thanksgiving but we were crammed into a bar table. Needless to say it was so loud with the football crowd we could barely hold a conversation at the table. Food was also disappointing. Will not go back to Weber Grill.
We enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at Weber Grill. The food was delicious, and the serving was large enough to serve two people! The atmosphere is great for spending a holiday. We've celebrated Thanksgiving here a number of years and look forward to it each year.
Was in town visiting colleges with my son, daughter and wife. Made reservations here for Thanksgiving. The food was outstanding. Not sure how they cooked such flavorful and moist turkey with so many customers, but they nailed it. All of the trimmings were excellent from the brussel sprouts, garlic mashed and gravy. The service was amazing. The place was packed but our waitress was hustling and we never needed to ask for anything, she brought it before we asked. it seemed like several managers were on staff this day and were bringing food out and checking in with the customers.
Dining out on a major holiday can be a gamble, but this place really had its act together on what must be one of their busiest days of the year.
