This is the second time we have not been thrilled with our meal at Weber Grill. No one ate their coleslaw. The prices are pretty high for what you get. Everything seems to come with baked beans and coleslaw. They would not let you so about anything without paying full price for it. The crème brûlée was cold. My husband steak was supposed to be medium but it had a cool center and was in edible. They don’tValidate parking. We just didn’t feel like we had a very good meal after spending $100.
Lunch was Not bad; not great. Okay food with okay service. Great for business lunches.
The meatloaf didn’t live up to the hype. It tasted like a grilled hamburger
Awesome meal. I had the Smoked Prime Rib, my wife had Brisket, both were fantastic along with our fantastic server James, it was a perfect meal and night out. Thanks
We had previously been to Weber Grill in the evening after a theater performance and it was superb! So we decided to return for a birthday lunch based on that experience. What a mistake! We ordered fish and chips (which was wonderful); a filet cooked medium well - it was butteflied but not cooked enough; a medium well hamburger (that came out rare). BUT that was not the real problem. The restaurant was filthy! We sat in a booth near the windows. The wooden window shades had filth and grime and dust on them from a LONG time; there were flowers, papers, food and other garbage on the ledges when you looked over the edge of the booth and dust webs and dirt floating down from the dirty windows. We were so disappointed and will not return. What a pity as the first evening meal we had there about 6 months ago (we sat in the bar area for this) was so good.
Dinner was so so at best when i return to the area i would look for somewhere else to eat
The food was amazing and the table was available when we got there. Only issue was our waiter was a tad slow but that was all!
Slow service. Concert down the street and not enough waiters. No one checked on our drinks or once we got our dinner. No ketchup or steak sauce offered because no one ever came. Person kept coming out w food and taking it to the wrong tables. Have been there before and was good. Food was pretty good tho.
Was there for my 30th wedding anniversary and was very pleased with service and food. Will return next time I visit Indy☺
Enjoyed the nice atmosphere being a good, quiet place to talk with a friend; unique salad that was tasty varied delicious iced tea with nice tropical flavor. Only improvement is with prices were lower. Otherwise, thank you for a great dining experience!
Too much time to wait a table.
Very unsatisfied with a prime rib
Sufficient BBQ ribs
By the way too expensive for the service.
First off the food was delicious! But the service sucked!!!!Our waiter had no clue what was going on. They put us at a table that did have any place settings. He brought us water in a large bottle and saw we didn’t have any glasses. He went and got some and I had to ask him for place settings. He then brought us a basket of pretzel rolls and we didn’t have bread plates. Every table around us had place settings, water glasses, bread plates, s & p shakers and a small flower arrangement. A lady finally brought over a flower arrangement and set it down. I had to ask for bread plates so we could eat the bread. I finally went and grabbed a set of S & P shakers on in case we needed it with our dinner. I also noted in my reservation that it was my friend’s birthday. Not a word was ever brought up about that. Maybe they don’t celebrate birthdays there. Can’t believe the waiter couldn’t look at our table and realize that we were missing everything. Very, very disappointing!!!! He seemed clueless! But the good was excellent!
We came as a large group from out of country who wanted a BBQ meal. They accommodated our group that expanded to 12 very easily, they put us in a quiet side room where we could visit, service and food were great. You made the final evening of our convention such a positive experience. Thank you!! Please open a restaurant in Calgary AB.
Our Server was amazing!
Are you kidding me - out of bread?
I typically love Weber Grill. I made reservations for my birthday and drove an hour and a half to get here. My favorite thing about them...the pretzel rolls. I come here for this mostly. So I was highly disappointed when I was advised they were out of them. I mean I didn't want to stay if the main thing I came for was out which was super confusing as this is (to me) what they're known for. Anywho, I wasn't paying full price if I didn't get all the amenities I came for so I left. Super disappointed as I drove and made reservations etc.
Couldn’t eat outside not enough staff. Did have any bread for the table they ran out.
Are reservations was st 6:00 I feel these two things were very unnecessary
We love Weber Grill, the food and service is always excellent! Just bring back the gluten-free brownie for desert and we will indulge even more.
We come here every year while at Gen Con; always a fantastic meal!
Great service and delicious food. We all loved the charcoal flavor of our entrees. I'm always happy to have local beer on the menu. My guests loved the experience and were happy I took them there. I've visited Indianapolis 3 times, and dined at Weber Grill each time. I expect there will be many more future visits.
Great food, great service and atmosphere. A little expensive for my taste. Glad I made a reservation because the restaurant was crowded with the Gen Con convention in town. A great place for adutl dining.
absolutely loved the food, as always. its on my mandatory to do list when I travel to Indianapolis each year. Waiter could have been better, but as I said, the food is excellent, and in years past the waitstaff have been great. I consider this visit to be an anomaly that way.
We went the first night and sat next to the grill. The scents were amazing! James our waiter did a great job. We liked it so much we went back the next night and were seated in the back room with a loud table The closed space made it cacophonous but the food was great and the service fantastic!
OK so I've always looked forward to my annual trip to Weber Grill Indy during GenCon however this year we had better experiences with the food trucks than this restaurant. We came in early at 4pm to avoid the GenCon dinner rush. They sat us in the bar which I thought took away from the experience of eating in a classy place. They gave us their famous pretzel rolls but they reheated ones from lunch in the microwave. Total fail! You do not give out a signature item of your eatery that's stale from hours earlier. The rolls were hard like hockey pucks. I did get new rolls after complaining but by then we already had our food. Now for our main course, we asked if we could sub out the green beans for broccoli and were told a solid no. A fancy place should never say no. It should say yes or yes with a surcharge communicated to the customer so they can make their decision. To say no to that simple request is just ridiculous for a place who wants to be classy and provide an upscale dining experience.
We love their food and family friendly atmosphere.
Great food at a very nice place. Simply the best steak place in downtown Indianapolis.
Food, service, everything disappointing. Ranch dressing tasted like water.
Went to the Weber Grill on a date night. Was seated immediately by a great hostess. Our server was right there to take our beverage orders and any appetizers. We ordered their french onion soup and it was delicious. We placed our main food order and had a wonderful conversation with our server who told us to take our time and enjoy the evening. My wife ordered a special hamburger and I ordered a filet. Her burger tasted bitter and she traded it for baby back ribs which were delicious. My filet was ordered medium rare but cooked very rare so it went back for a little more cooking. It tasted OK, not exceptional, just OK. Garlic mashed potatoes were OK, not great like one would expect. However, the overall experience was good.
Yummy food! The server kept up with our 10 person group, but did seem to struggle a bit.
My son and I went to dinner when we were in town. The food was great. Steaks cooked perfectly and the sticky rib appetizer was awesome. The restaurant was full, hence a little loud, but had a very nice atmosphere. It was definitely not a stuffy steak house or overlay formal. The service was fantastic the manger took us in back to see the actual Weber grills they use and the chefs were all anxious to tell us how they use them. It was a really unique and excellent experience. Very cool to see actual Weber grills in action at a restaurant.
We took our two 13year old grandkids for their birthday celebration. It was very noisy and the food was average. For the $200 bill...wouldn't go back!!!
Very mediocre and a bit pricey for the quality. Certainly isn’t bad, just hoped for better quality from Weber.
Good food in a nice setting. Worth a visit for dinner or lunch!
We really enjoyed our team event there. Thank you for a great experience
Service and food were great
Craig, was a great server. He had great recommendations from the menu. We went to celebrate a birthday and they gave us complimentary cake and ice cream that was to die for. Lol. Even the greeter came to our table to assure we were enjoying our experience. We had a lovely time. The food was delicious and well prepared. Keep up the good work W.G!
Weber's COULD be an upscale romantic dining experience. However, the steak was not as tender and tasty as we cook on our home grill. The shrimp was overcooked and bland. Not a single use of salt on my plate. Drinks were overpriced ($10 for 6oz of margarita).
The music was being played so loud that I had to request that they turn it down, which they did. The food was good but seems a bit overpriced. I would recommend it to others though as it was a unique place.
