FANTASTIC! Our waitress, Kirsten, made the experience so much better with a positive attitude and thorough understanding of the menu. Great first time to the city and to the Weber Grill!
Although my guests' food was very good (meatloaf is amazing and the chicken was moist and tender). My chili was so disappointing compared to the last time I had it (only 2 months prior), which makes me not want to order it again. Overall - pretty good food.
Great waiter, fantastic food, reasonable prices
The restaurant was empty and still the food took at least 45 minutes to arrive.
First time in Chicago, as an italian weber-addicted-barbecuer I can't miss the possibility to test it: great experience! Don't miss to ask for the "kitchen tour".
Decent BBQ food and nice staff! Table was free on time for our reservation. Good place to go!
Poor service, just an ok steak.....
Waited 25 min for a cup of soup.. another 15 to get glass of wine
The free range chicken was outstanding with a great smoky taste. My wife also enjoyed the pork chops she ordered. Overall, excellent food and service with a respectable price.
The french onion soup was excellent. The appetizer sampler was very good, tho the portions were a little small for the price.
Good restaurant - fairly noisy but it’s not a big space so it’s kind of expected. Food was good. Had the beet dish with pecans. Highly recommended?
Had to keep reminding the wait staff for our order. They kept getting things wrong. The staff seemed very disorganised. There are plenty of great steak restaurants in the area which I would look at trying instead. Not a great experience.
Terrible terrible service. Two meals had to be returned. One person ordered brisket chili and was presented with inedible cheesey chicken chili. What restaurant thinks they can just sub out food when they run out of something without consulting the customer first?! They offered to comp it but it still showed up on the bill which took 15 minutes to finally get. Restaurant was empty. Can you imagine what it is like when they are busy? Two beers and one soda water took 10 minutes. Food was mediocre to bad. Avoid this place at all costs.
Waiter was busy socializing with another table rather than checking in on our table. Had to walk up to the bar to get my own drink. Pretty ridiculous.
Made reservations before our trip. They sat us in booth right behind the hostess stand which is basically in the kitchen. Server was nice but forgot about us - add too that, drinks were wrong & no silverware and couldn’t get any other server to acknowledge us. Extremely loud from kitchen noise and servers coming back & forth. My filet and husband’s strip were great. Son’s strip was bitter b/c it was so charred. Daughter’s chicken was very good. My husband & son had been here a few yrs ago and were excited for me & our daughter to eat there too. Here’s a picture of our seating ambiance. I was really disappointed.
8 pm reservation and waited forever for food told 50.00 rib eye took along time to cook, it was almost 10 pm before we were server and came out was the smallest thinest steak, really disappointing. Wont be back, many other steakhouses in Chicago.
We arrived on time for our reservation, made us wait a lot of time, hostes didn’t know estimated time for our table. Had to walk away.
Fantastic dinner to celebrate the Chicago Marathon. Service was outstanding, and the food was great. The appetizer sampler platter was gigantic and delicious, and the steaks were great. The “smoked” New York special had a wonderful flavour.
The beer list is very long and has lots of options; the wine list had a number of very reasonably priced bottles. Cocktails were well-made.
The place was packed post-marathon, and they were running quite behind on seating people, but the staff at the desk and in the bar were very helpful and positive.
Once we got in the food and service was great. Made a reservation 3 months earlier then date. They took us 1 hour late and they did not really care in the front at check in. They almost said you do not like it leave. But I knew how good food is and when I go to Chicago it is a destination place for me.
L’unico lato negativo è stata la prenotazione: avevamo prenotato per le 19:15 e ci siamo seduti alle 20:00. Assurdo. Non serve a niente prenotare
This was the second time we dined at the Weber Grill. We are from New Jersey and were in town for the Marathon. The first visit was seven years ago when our Son was in Chicago for a semester of architect training. Wish we had a Weber Grill in our State. Very enjoyable and good service.
Wonderful food 🥘, our waiter MIGUEL was AMAZING 😉
Food was very good, recommend the Filet. Service was not great, had to ask for drinks and check twice. Never got refills and waited forever for our waiter who said he will filling in, so may have been short handed this night.
Go for the steaks, but don't expect Morton's or Ruth's Chris quality. Prices are OK, but not much cheaper than the high-end joints (e.g. 16 oz Ribeye was $45) . What is cool is that all of the wine is by the glass or half bottle. So if you wanted to try a second half of something else that would be possible. Pretty reasonable prices with some good choices. My suggestion is to order a second half bottle earlier rather than later in the meal. It took so long to get the second I sent it back since we were essentially done the meal. Second cocktail ordered ever came at all. Service was friendly, but not attentive enough.
Prime rib ordered medium rare but served well done; service was slow...waiter was always friendly and apologetic.
Really enjoyable post marathon, good service, great steak and ribs (especially as a gluten free option) - was so good we went back the day after for another great burger 👍
Very nice lunch and dinner option with fair price / value. Would return and recommend.
We were in Chicago for a family trip & like to always go here for one meal. The food is always really good(especially the steaks) & they have a great Mediterranean salad if you are looking for a vegetarian option.
We had an early reservation and it was not very busy when we arrived, yet we were kept waiting for 15 minutes after our reservation time. When we were finally seated, our table was right next to the kitchen. It was super loud and very distracting for a party. The food was OK, but nothing I would recommend. There are many better restaurants in the city of Chicago.
Clueless server. Apps arrived after entrees. Not all entrees at same time. Had to be bailed out by two managers. They comp'd the food in the end, which was only mediocre on this visit. Restaurant was only about 20% capacity, so no good excuse. Open kitchen is normally fun, but the staff were just banging around on purpose. Almost impossible to have a conversation with friends visiting from overseas. This place used to be good, but it's lost its mojo.
Great meal, good steak and service. Great vibe.
I ate twice at Weber during my visit to Chicago with family for the Chicago Marathon. If you are considering a restaurant with friendly staff, quality food and excellent service, look no further. The food is fresh and seasoned well. My husband ordered beef brisket and said it was the BEST brisket he'd ever eaten. Both meals I had were excellent. One of family members asked to have their chicken prepared with NO SALT. No problem. It was perfect. That is unusual. We will definitely return to this restaurant on our next trip to Chicago!
Went twice in one week, working with a tech from Belgium, he thought the food was excellent need one in Boston or New Hampshire
Great food, perfect steaks, great service and a fun “kettle tour” too.
We had a great experience and service was amazing. I just wasn’t pleased or impressed by my dish. Not a big deal, I will definitely be back and try something different! My other have said his was the best steak he’s had in a longggg time!
First time at the Weber Grill restaurant, we're from the NY area and there aren't any Weber Grill restaurants at all. Highly recommend you try them if you're in Chicago. Good food, ambiance and most of all, our server, Kirsten, was fantastic.
Another outstanding meal and wonderful service. Already looking forward to my next visit!!
Great place, food was perfect... no complaints. We were disappointed that there was not a souvenir shop. Weber’s have a cult-like following and a souvenir shop would be a great idea. We were hoping to find a shirt or shot glass etc...
Terrible cuts of meat, service was terrible too. Don’t waste your time or $$
Excellent food. Nice service, Nice table. Enjoyed every time we get there
My wife and I were in Chicago for a quick-trip Cubs game, and we stopped by the Weber Grill for dinner. The food was awesome!
