Birthday Brunch. Although we made reservations, we sat ourselves (no problem at all). Our server did ask if we had made reservations later on.
The service was great, the food was awesome (breakfast potatoes 👍🏾, chicken & waffles 👍🏾, beignets 👍🏾👍🏾).
I don’t remember the server’s name but she was 👍🏾👍🏾.
Covid-19 protocols were being followed, we were spaced out appropriately and only those eating or drinking weren’t wearing masks.
I will be back!
Dinner experience at Weather Mark Tavern was perfect. Our waitress could not have been better, we quickly got drinks and an order placed minutes after sitting down. Drinks were delivered fast and food shortly thereafter. Entrees were tasty and hot. We were going to the Bears game at nearby Soldier Field thus timeliness was important and thankfully Weather Mark Tavern delivered at each step. Highly recommended!
Just ok. Sadly only one server was overwhelming.
Good place, great service. Music was a bit loud
Went with my Dad so we could watch the game. It was just what I expected, loud but comfortable and spacious.
Just a great place
The food is very good. Especially love the fish tacos, ribs and sweet potato fries, as well as the patty melt. Service is excellent. Very friendly place.
What you'd expect for a neighborhood bar. Great place for a casual meal and drink in an energetic atmosphere with friendly service.
We stopped in the Saturday afternoon of Chicago Marathon packet pick up. Very friendly, clean, food was fresh, service was good. Had one service hiccup that was corrected right away. So happy we found this place!
Excellent service, food, and drinks.
Booked on open table and then showed up and they said they had no seating for us. Seemed like a great Sox/Bears bar. But not enough staff.
We had a large group on a weekend afternoon. It was moderately busy. We had mixed reviews on the food, I personally felt the fried pickles were the best I’ve ever had. Some felt the bloody Mary’s needed to up the game. Weather mark seems to be experiencing the same covid crunch regarding servers as we did wait quite a while before and during our late lunch. I would definitely go back and hopefully the service issue will resolve itself. It looks like a great place to watch a game. And the entire staff is extremely friendly and accommodating.
This has become our Thursday night place. Great food and service
I am hoping our experience was unusual but our server was so forgetful that we had to ask multiple times for things and didn't get them. We had a party of 5. She forgot 3 of our orders and had to come out and ask again for them. So 2 of ours came out before the rest, and one was still wrong. No refills, no silverware (even after I went in to ask the manager), and I mean at all. We asked for a box 3 times (since we didn't want to eat some of the food with our hands) and finally had to go inside get it. We had already paid but when we went in to get the box after it didn't come, she gave us someone else's check. She was standing behind the bar as if she had completely forgotten. The parmesan fries and the turkey sandwich were awesome. The pizza was good too
Visited here prior to a concert (DMB N1) at Northerly Island. Coincidentally it was also the day (Friday) of the Cubs/White Sox game. We thought the service was great. We were greeted fairly quickly once we walked in. We were a 1/2 hour early for our res but they still seated us. Our server was prompt & visited us often...it was only her 2nd day on the job. We had the "dip platter" for our appetizer which we thought was nice. We then had the California Pizza (avocado, bacon) which we thought was really good. We are craft beer folks so we were happy with the beer list as well. Overall we enjoyed our time here. We really like the Nautical theme of the restaurant & we felt the staff was very friendly. Despite the time (big city game/pre-concert) we didn't feel the crowd or noise was overwhelming. The only knock...the men's bathroom door lock was broken so that made the bathroom visit a little akward but other than that, highly recommend.
Very traditional neighborhood pub with decent selection of sandwiches and salads. The spicy chicken sandwich was delicious!
Decent food and drink, but it was WAY too loud in here. I think it was probably because three large tables were indulging in the bottomless mimosas, but still, everything echoed since it's a large open space with tall ceilings. Waitress was great and the food was pretty good.
We went on a Saturday, and ordered a pizza which they couldn’t make. That was disappointing, but otherwise a cool looking bar.
The food and drinks were great!!! Great neighborly restaurant !!!
Great food great service!
There was nothing extraordinary about the menu, standard American pub food. But the execution was outstanding. The sweet potato waffle fries were some of the best I have had, the burgers were tasty and the Chicago steak sandwich was delicious. Music was louder than I prefer for dining, but our server was attentive bring water refills before we even had to ask.
Would never go back. Manager of rude and did not provide a welcoming environment
Food was good - restaurant a bit more crowded with new COVID rules and it's good to see. Lively crowd - all good.
Kind of Bias. High marks because I've been here maybe 10-12 times inn the last 2 months and all I get is great service and better food.
Bottomless Mimosas are pre-made (more juice than champagne)... Just purchase a bottle (25 dollars) and get OJ on the side...
The omelet had potential but had a burnt grill overcooked taste to it.... It tasted like they don’t throughly clean or wipe down grill in between cooking orders..
I had to send my beignets because there was a piece of a plastic utensil cooked into my beignets.. Thank goodness I bit into it before swallowing the beignet.
Good parts: service was good.. waitress was extremely accommodating and they removed the beignets from my final bill.
It was a great brunch spot. The breakfast skillets were incredible, the bottomless mimosas were truly bottomless, and the servers were attentive, polite, and overall just good. The only thing that was unfortunate - which isn't Weather Mark's fault by any means - is that it was a bit empty. But again, great spot, felt very local and homey and I love that.
Ehh it was ok at best
Met my soon to be wife at the weather mark 7 years ago the night of the NCAA men’s basketball championship. We have gone back every year since to celebrate. Had a good time as usual.
Service was kind of slow, but that could’ve been due to Covid. Food was pretty good.
Salmon was dry and over cooked. No rye bread for the patty melt which taste like a hamburger on white toast. Appetizers were good. We had fried cauliflower and spring rolls. Cocktails were weak. Server was pleasant.
They were out of a few of the items we wanted to order. Our food was fine though.
Easy check in, Great Staff, Good Food. Bottomless Mimosas Were Awesome
Great food, friendly staff, everyone is great about masks that works there, a good safe place to go to!
Weekend brunch! Tai & Suzette are the best!
Went for Sunday brunch. 1st of many. I've been before, but Sundays may be my day!
Loved our visit, the food was good and bottomless mimosas were great!
Always a good time here! The servers are very nice and lively; the manager is very accommodating and wants to ensure a good time for his guests! Also the bottomless mimosa deal are unbeatable, definitely coming back!
great food, drinks, and atmosphere! will definatley be back!
