It took a half hour to get our drinks, even though there was only a total of 10 tables, none more than 4 guests, but most only deuces. It was my wife's birthday and we had plans after dinner. We were gathering our things to leave when they finally brought our drinks. With drink finally in hand we decided to order dinner. She really didn't like hers, but noone even asked if we enjoyed our meal. Probably won't be dining there again.

Waiter was VERY slow to process the payment. Waiter not good at keeping track of the table and checking in to see how we were doing. Loud background music, poor ambience.

The staff especially Miss. Netty were extremely outstanding! She went above and beyond with the customer service provided, and made my husband and I anniversary even more memorable.

The food was just okay for the price. The waiter was very sweet but incredibly slow. We waited thirty minutes between every course. With so many good choices in the area I wish I had skipped this one.

I booked this reservation for my wife and I and it didn't go as planned. Due to a conference at the time they were only serving a limited buffet consisting of a salad with spaghetti and garlic bread and a few things on the side. According to the web site they have an actual menue with varying types of food but this was not offered. The one hostess didn't understand what we're trying to ask but our server was very helpful in offering us some alternative resturaunts in the area. We left without ordering anything and went to one of the nearby recommended resturaunts which was excelent. I'm sure this isnt a bad place to eat if your are staying at the hotel and in town for business but it just didn't work out for us that night.

My wife and I were in the Baltimore Inner Harbor to celebrate her birthday, we stayed in the Renaissance hotel where the restaurant is conveniently located,
My wife had the capellini pasta with shrimp in a pesto sauce, I had the Fillet Mignon with roasted finger link potatoes and carrots, the food was good and we enjoyed very much, however the waitress was a bit off course as to seemly not being knowledge to what condiments to bring to us when we asked for cheese for my wife's pasta.
After we ate our dinner, the waitress delivered our bill without even asking if we wanted dessert.

I selected this restaurant because it isn't a chain and it was on the Inner Harbor. I ignored warnings from other reviews, focusing instead on the harbor views... and the Crab Poutine on the menu. That one item sealed the deal.

*We arrive to find that this restaurant is more of a hotel lounge than a private restaurant.

*We waited five minutes for the greeter to arrive. I informed the greeter that we had a reservation, to which she wrote my name down and proceeded to poll the parties behind us.

*We were seated and stunned to find the menu different from that posted on OpenTable; no Crab Poutine! The server approached and asked for our order; no drink ask nor wine/beer menu provided and no questions asked. I asked about the Poutine and ten minutes later she returned saying it still could be made.

*In this ten minutes, a man across the aisle was served a burger which was not cooked to his liking. He did not ask for a new burger... just his check.

*I placed the Poutine order as an appetizer for the table. We placed our entree orders as well: pasta with added grilled chicken, brick chicken, and crab cake sandwich with side salad.

*Again - no ask for any additional drinks was made.

*Poutine is served and delivers as intended.

*Two minutes later the entrees arrive. The pasta had no chicken. The sandwich was served with more fries. The brick chicken was served on half an avocado with a produce sticker still attached to its rind.

*Side salad and grilled chicken are brought out. Chicken is cold and rubbery from the 20 second treatment it received in a microwave.

*The meal concludes rather uneventfully. The food was quite tasty... at least the edible food properly prepared.

*No ask for dessert was made.

*The server confides that there are only two servers working. I guesstimate approximately 20 tables were in the lounge. I do know that the lounge greeter refilled my water more times than my server did.

I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant.

I don't really know why, but the popularity of this place isn't what it used to be. Honestly, it works out better for me because it's never really crowded these days anymore.
Food is great, ambiance is great, view is best in the entire Inner Harbor hands down, and it's always clean and pleasant, and very very quiet.
I personally highly recommend it.

Our reservation was for 6:00 pm and although we were seated on time, there were no servers there as the restaurant was just opening and no one was at work yet. Slow service. No wine list. Food was good though. View was awesome. Brought out a great Crab Fondue appetizer without the toast to eat it with. Overall, disappointing.

This is my second time dining here and the food is inconsistent. The first time I ordered the crab chowder and it was perfect in seasoning and consistency. However, the 2nd time I ordered the chowder it was too thick and too salty. In addition, I had asked the waiter for no pepper in the soup but when I tasted it, it was way too peppery. I don't think I will come back.

I am a frequent visitor to this restaurant. I was there when it was called "Windows." I usually visit on Sundays for their Sunday Brunch. My wife doesn't eat pork or beef and she enjoys their chicken sausage and turkey bacon. The omelettes include lump crab meat as an option, along with the usually ingredients. There brunch is very consistent and has been for quite some time. The wait staff is always pleasant, along with the host and hostesses.

Bad lay-out. Large reception room is right next Restaraunt. While we were in the Restaraunt, there was a large party with a DJ and a large number of people right next door. This resulted in loud music and to much staff attention to that event. Resulted in delayed food arrival, poor service and us not being able to hear each other at the table. A real shame because the food was outstanding when it finally did show up.

Although the food was enjoyable, it was not worth the extremely slow service, even on a quiet evening. And, given the lovely view and the availability of empty tables near the windows, it was disappointing to be placed at a reserved table where half our party faced away from the windows.

Came here for my birthday, party of 7 on 03/19. The hotel is gorgeous and modern. The host greeted us warmly and got our table ready. I have to say the view at sunset was beautiful and our waitress was wonderful. The food was unique and very well prepared. Everyone commented on how good it was. Our waitress refilled our drinks without having to ask and took care of us without being overbearing. It was a lovely dinner. This place is a wonderful place to take a group and is also very reasonably priced. Glad I found this gem, will consider for other future occasions.

My husband and I celebrated Valentines Day with dinner at the Watertable. The menu was special for the day and it was Fantastic! The food was beautiful and delicious! And the portions were plentiful, which doesn't always happen at lovely restaurants. The view of the harbor and city really can't be beat. Our server, Jade, was lovely, as well!

My wife and I went here on Friday night. Finding the place was rather difficult, as it is located in the Renaissance Hotel, on the 5th floor. There is virtually no signage in/outside the hotel to alert you to its location. The restaurant itself is quite neat, with huge seating on the bar as well as picturesque dinning along the huge floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Inner Harbor. We unfortunately made the mistake of going on a night when there was a dance competition in the hotel on the same floor. The overflow of competitors and guardians really put a damper on what could have been a great evening. The noise was overbearing, and although we had reservations for a window table, we were bumped for a group of event moms who just barged their way to the hostess and demanded to be sat.

The wait staff was extremely patient with the large obnoxious groups, and were very friendly and attentive, despite being severely out numbered due to the large volume of people dining.

We tried the spicy calamari, which was really well prepared and seasoned perfectly (tai sweet chili sauce). I ended up getting the taco sampler, which was actually quite tasty. Though a lot of the combinations of meat and toppings were a stretch from the traditional taco construction, the multitude of flavors was quite impressive. My wife had the squash ravioli, which the waitress requested. All in all a good experience, but had the potential to be really great if it wasn't for the overbearing noise.

This restaurant was so disappointing just because it "looked" like the food would be good. The place looked clean, it looked upscale, the view over the harbor was promising...I just knew the food would be amazing, but it was not.

I ordered a sangria that was supposed to have fruit. I can normally look past the fruit; however, the sangria was also extremely watered down! I end up getting a simple glass of wine. My first course was the calamari. It was ok, could have been better had they not plated it with the sweet chili sauce and covered in arugula. I would have liked it with the sauce on the side, and I think other patrons would have too.

My next course was shrimp and grits...never again. The grits were extremely too watery and nothing was seasoned! I had to add a lot of salt which seemed to make it better. The red mixture on the top, I don't even know how to describe it, but it was not good.

My desert course was ok. It was a chocolate cake...you can't go wrong with that.

Our service was great. Our waiter was extremely attentive, and I'm guessing could sense we weren't pleased b/c he kept asking if we were ok... lol I wouldn't return for dinner, but I'd return for drinks to just look over the harbor...no sangria though!

There was a conference in the rooms around the restaurant so it was very noisy and the service was slow. They were understaffed which slowed service even more. Food was decent and the price was moderate. One plus was the nice view of the inner harbor.

Great food...horrible, horrible service. We were there for NYE reservation at 9pm. Not crowded at all, but the wait staff could not get it together. Most workers just walked around aimlessly, avoiding eye contact and basically did nothing productive. I had to practically walk into the kitchen to have our water glasses filled. Oh the irony considering we were at the Watertable.

Overall the ambiance was nice- service was good. The food offered on the prefix menu was very limited and not very welcoming for any person with a slightly picky pallet. Every dish had a rather abnormal garnish or accessory paired with it. Not being a very picky eater I still left without feeling full or satisfied.
