Hosted a business meeting there. Excellent service, nice ambiance, great view.
Great place to take out of town visitors. Good food, friendly service, great value for price and great views! A hidden gem!
The food was fine and it is a pretty location looking out over the harbor but very overpriced for what we had.
Great view, good service and food.
Went on 4th of July to celebrate our Anniversary. Food was bland except for the dessert. You could see the fireworks from the window that was beautiful. I would go back for drinks, dessert, and the fireworks. I will never return for a meal though. PS: don’t go with dressy attire, jeans and a t-shirt should be fine.
Limited menu on 4th July.
I spent 4th of July here and it was an excellent experience and great food and service
The view from the restaurant is beautiful and the restaurant itself is clean and modern but that's where it ends. The service was awful. Although the restaurant was empty when we walked in for our 7:30pm Saturday evening reservation, we stood there at there as a waitress folded napkins at a table looking at us. She eventually spoke but only to ask us if there were 3 of us. When we answered and told her we had a reservation, she finally moved from the table to usher us to sit. We sat for a while (again, empty restaurant) until a waitress came to take our drink orders. We were not given bread at the table until we asked.
The food was sub-par. My friend's fries that came with her crab cake was cold, so we had to ask for it to be reheated, my other friend's steak, which she'd as to be medium was completely well done and borderline charred. So she opted for a burger instead. My Cornish hen was tasteless and the gravy that came with it was bitter.
Overall, there are way better restaurants in Baltimore City with good views. DO NOT waste your time and money going to the Watertable. It's not worth it.
On a good note, the manager came to our table several times to apologize for the many, many mistakes that was made. Nice gesture but we didn't care anymore. The wait staff needs to be friendlier and the kitchen needs help!
This was dinner for a girls night out....the choices were great, the cocktails were delicious and the view was amazing. Everything you need to make a great girls night out a success!
Loved the environment and the people. Felt really appreciative. Great Service!
A beautiful view of the Baltimore Inner Harbor. Located on the 5th floor of The Renaissance hotel so I don’t think you would find it except to read reviews online. My husband and I had the crab cakes, which were excellent, my adult daughter had the salmon which she said was quite good. The butter for the focaccia was delicious. Service was good but not outstanding, our servicer did give us service with a smile! I recommend if you are looking for a nice quiet dinner of great food.
Very disappointed. Food was below what was expected. It was 80+ degrees outside and they had the heat on. What a missed opportunity to bea good restaurant.
Slow, indifferent service, from the host to the server to the bartender to the food. There were literally just us and one other party, and it took forever to get anything—drinks, orders taken, food. It was just unbelievably bad. We were also told that one thing on the already limited menu was unavailable because “we have a limited menu tonight.” Why? It’s Thursday. The hotel is full of conference-goers.
Food was mediocre at best, same with the cocktails. We spent way too much money for a really irritating and forgettable dining experience.
Oh, and the hyped “view”? You can kind of see the harbor—behind a busy expressway and shopping center.
The view is great but the food is just OK. This is nothing more than a run of the mill hotel restaurant with a great view of the harbor.
Food was subpar for a hotel restaurant. $16 for a horrible turkey wrap.
My lunch was amazing! Get their award winning clam chowder for sure!
Mother’s Day wasn’t terribly crowded
Crab cake Benedict is a must!
Had reservations no wait prompt seating. Excellent service from the waiter. Make her came round to verify everything was good. Will always eat breakfast here.
The food was very tasty. However, the service was very poor. The waitress only came to take our order and to bring us the check. There was little to no other guests in the restaurant and we were not sure what was prohibiting her from coming back to check on us. There were other waiters serving us. We ordered a soda the same time as our food and did not receive it until it was time to pay the check. This was our anniversary dinner and I had higher expectations.
Excellent service, delicious food, and fantastic view of Inner Harbor.
Location is close to Inner Harbor. View was really nice. Food took a long time and seemed like it had been sitting awhile. Four entrees not available that night. Server had some language challenges.
Great VIEW. Great bartender, Larry. He was fabulous. Great waiter, Tony.
They ran out of Tagliatelle and wanted to replace with UDON which was weird, but NY strip, crab cake and rockfish were good.
The music was a little loud.
The restaurant was difficult to find from Pratt St. The service was good, although a bit over solicitous. The food was mediocre.
This review is based on two visits to this restaurant. We weren't all that impressed the first time. The food was good, but the people seating and serving didn't seem to know all that much about which items were gluten-free (my wife is gluten allergic). We only went back because other places that we tried were booked solid at the times we wanted, and it was convenient to our hotel. We're really glad we went back, however, because the experience was entirely different. Well, the foold was still good, but the service this time was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Lovely views over the harbor, quiet (even on a Saturday evening), and it was our best dining experience of the four days we were in Baltimore.
I was so satisfied I decided to have my fiancé’s birthday dinner here.
Great server. Burgers are amazing!
This is a beautiful spot, and with better food preparation, menu choices and service, this could be a spectacular restaurant. Alas, it's probably best for a drink followed by dinner somewhere else.
Everything was lovely. The food was delicious and well presented and timely! My wife ordered the ceasar salad with grilled shrimp and when the waitress brought it she said, "I'm going to get you more shrimp - which she did! My salmon was beautifully cooked - not at all dry, and delicious. And, of course, the view is wonderful.
It was beautiful experience and great view! I will definitely return again
Very nice looking restaurant. Upon arriving we came to an empty host stand and waited for a few minutes before having to ask the bartender to be seated. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant so we were confused as to why there was a wait. We order two drinks which were ok. Was shocked to see they didn’t have martini glasses after asking if we wanted outer drink up. The service is pretty fast and the food was very delicious. We both ordered the saafood tagliatelle. The view was amazing. Our server was wonderful as well. She did help make the night go way better. Would definitely consider Watertable again.
Watertable’s service and food was absolutely amazing!
Watertable is a very nice restaurant. The open layout is cool and the scenery of the Baltimore harbor is very nice. The food was plated well and the price is worth it. The service was quick and the employees were always ready if needed.
Awesome I loved it
For a Marriott property this was the WORST experience ever. I’m not sure if, because of the snow that was the reason that the quality of the food was so poor. I had eggs - with hair. Pancakes with hair, and even sausage with hair. Mind you I ordered off of the menu and did not order from the Buffett. My boyfriends eggs were runny after he asked to have them well done. Additionally there was another couple who came in with complaints and the manager was doing his best accommodate them, but it clearly did not work because they were still upset. All in all, we ordered basic food, and unfortunately it had tons of hair in it, and was not completely cooked. Certainly not a Marriott or Starwood standards. Every place has off days, but I am unwilling to give this place another shot.
I loved the view of the Harbor & it was very well put together also
Horrible. Just plain horrible.
When you receive burnt, tasteless and almost inedible focaccia style bread (that we had to ask and wait for), we should have walked out then. Plus the fact that it was a Saturday night, and the place was DEAD.
There was ONE inexperienced waitress on the floor. She had 5 tables seated. Way too much for her to handle. Most likely not her fault. I doubt she was properly trained. My husband and I both waited tables for years.
The waitress didn't greet us, she didn't tell us her name and her service was as if she had never waited on tables before. Perhaps it was her first night. The hostess was nice enough but spent a lot of time talking to a 4 top of guys when we felt she could have been pitching in.
Lousy presentation. Came off as cheap.
Muscles were just ok. The crab cake was burnt.
Salad was mostly lettuce.
Also the menu online is NOT the current menu they serve.
PASS on this over priced place.
We never mind paying good money for good food and we always tip 25% or higher and 20% for poor service.
Pity this place was such a disappointment, it has a nice view and could have lots of potential, but it lacked good food and service. :(
Great view, good food, good service once we were seated. Only issue was that it took longer than expected to be seated and we had to track down someone to help us. I'm blaming that on our early reservation.
Thank you Watertable for delivering great service for our NEW YEAR dinner !
New Year’s Eve. Server awesome. View awesome. Menu selection limited
