Spectacular Atmosphere for your Very Special Event.
Very nice staff view and food. Will be back again
Incredible view of manhattan. Lots of seats outside on the water. There was a nice breeze. Casual atmosphere but great to dress up. DJ on weekends and the bar turns into a dance floor. Lots of fun. If you’re with a group order the special dessert. It easily feeds more than 4 people.
The hosted had an attitude I understand she was probably overwhelmed but not my fault. I had to ask for bread they wouldn’t bring it I had to ask for refill of water. The food was ok. They seem to have a preference for regular costumers. Did not like their attitude told my friends don’t waste your time or money not worth it would rather go to the chart house much nicer staff.
Speculate views, food and service!
The wait staff was quite rude to me and my date. First we both ordered salads and they said you can’t sit outside unless you order a main course, well sorry for being healthy. Then at the moment to pay the bill we ask the waiter to split the bill based on what we ordered, he said I don’t know what you ordered, then we marked it for him on the bill, then he said you need to add it for me and give me the amount. So we did that and finally left. Really poor experience at this place which is sad since the view is nice
Our evening was great, until our Server decided to hover over us, waiting to close out the check. Our champagne glasses were full, so we obviously were not in a rush, although she must’ve been. Otherwise, a fantastic evening.
We had a view of the river from our table which was beautiful and the lighting and music set the stage for wonderful ambiance. However our service was extremely slow although the place was not overly busy. It took 20 minutes before our first drinks showed up. They also don't allow you to place an appetizer order immediately and require you to place your entire order all at the same time. This delays getting appetizers which took over 30 minutes to show up. Our food however was outstanding. The lobster bisque mash potatoes may be the best mash potatoes may be the best I've ever had. In spite of the slow drinks and appetizers, we would go back again.
We had a wonderful time. Celebrating my moms birthday with my daughters and my sister. We all loved our meal, the outdoor seating was great. The service was great-one server even went down by the water and took several group pictures of us.
The staff was great. They help me record a video while I was proposing to my girlfriend. I will never forget. Great view of the city.
Great restaurant with great view. Outside dining could use umbrellas for shade and better chairs.
Staff was accommodating, service was excellent the view of nyc incredible and the food was delicious
Had saturday lunch with girlfriend and her sister outside on their deck. The view was truly impressive, had good shade but could enjoy view and some sun. The food was excellent we had the sharing melon and proscuitto plate it was great. The main courses were also excellent the girls had the grilled brazino both were finished completely and there was nothing to take home which is unusual. I had the papperdelle in mushroom sauce also excellent favor and texture. The desserts were both good and large. The service was excellent and it was group servers so there was always someone refilling drinks or removing plates. Could not have been happier with meal. Would gladly return and recommend to friends. One caveat to those sensitive to noise or activity as there is both when its busy. The right side of the deck seems to be quieter than rest of restaurant. And if you want to sit out on deck for next few weeks be aware there is some repair work going on the left side of deck which results in some added noise and attracts customers to check out what is going on there. A minor issue.
Only wish would be for padded chairs . All else is always a great place to dine and drink !
The food was pricey, really small portions and disgusting!
Love the service , and the customer services
I was there fir Father’s day dinner with my family. Spent over $220 for six ppl.
Service was okay.
Food - Salty. ( I eat less salty.) Tried to put too much emphasis on the seasoning on the dish that made the food salty.
Quality of food was um... on the less favorable side. Over priced for food that wasn’t prepared with care. Under cooked chicken breast and pork porterhouse. Pastas were simply salty.
Wanna be charthouse...
Definitely not worth the price. I’d rather eat next door at the diner.
Food was good. Service must be approved. It was very rushed. The servers stopped by 6-7 times asking to remove our appetizers while we were still eating it. It started 5 minutes after it was served. They brought the main course literally 30 mins after we arrived and while we still worked on appetizers. That was a bad service call. Also, the restaurant must invest on outside tables and chairs. They appear very old, uncomfortable, and look cheap.
On the good note, we still enjoyed our time out, food, and the gorgeous views.
Little pricey but overall was great experience. Highly recommended
Date food and service awesome
Our waiter was wonderful...He took pictures for us,brought me a light up menu, put sparklers in the massive dessert!! Seafood salad was fresh and delicious, The view is spectacular!!! I will be making many trips back!!
Wonderful food and spectacular view!
Overpriced food and staff will follow to your car and question you if you didn't leave a big enough tip, which is embarrassing and rude.
The staff was very accommodating. We made a reservation for 6 but showed up with a group of 10. They were very nice to us and allowed us to take pictures outside even though the outside seating wasn’t open. The food was delicious and outside of being proposed to just having a nice family dinner at Waterside was special enough
This place has gone downhill ..sadly. Skimpy avocado salad Poorly executed mealy crabcake sliders. Still a great view though!
First time sat at a table been there for parties and the bar. Took my son to see if he would want graduation dinner here. He had bang bang shrimp and it was small but good. I had the stuffed eggplant which I liked. For dinner he had the black pasta he thought it was very good especially with the crumbled dry salami. I had the salmon over cooked. Edges black and the fish was very dry. I could not eat it. I will toss this as a one off cause I have had great meals at the bar. But was very disappointed. Big plus the valet guys are great
Chairs were ripped and place was crowded.
Family meeting. Pre-engagement.
Great service great atmosphere...perfect date night experience!!
Everything was perfect!!
Wait staff exceptional!!!
Food and service were very good I really like this place we go there very often
Loved it! Went to celebrate Mother's Day and it was wonderful.
This place is beautiful, great service, delicious food and drinks, the only issue was, I made a City view reservation Online, I called the restaurant to confirm my reservation and to make sure, what I requested, their answer was City view reservation was not guarantee, depending on availability upon arrival, why to make a reservation then, they suggested if we want to seat outside and they will provide a heater, well I tried not to make a big deal of it and we enjoyed the night.
The online pictures are deciving. This restaurant has not been renovated in years and looks tired and old!!
I would definitely recommend this restaurant not only for the views but the staff was very courteous and professional
Went on a Tuesday night for my birthday celebration. We had the seafood salad, arugula salad, the black cod and the seafood capellini, which were very good. The frito mixto was mostly calamari. Service was attentive and they brought out a sparkler to celebrate my birthday. It is probably noisy when the DJ is playing but I prefer the quiet NYC view. Will come back when it is warmer to sit outside and try some of the other dishes and cocktails.
We had a reservation for six, fortunately only five of us were there because the table was barely enough for four. They also had a bridal shower, and a baby shower during brunch so it was very crowded and noisy. Not the ambience I was looking forward to have a relaxing brunch with my family. The service was just Ok- as I guess they were busy with the other events. Overall just ok
Service was good food good
The restaurant have a beautiful view of the city, but overall the food is not worth the price we paid. I went for Easter brunch, maybe the regular lunch menu would’ve been better. The restaurant was also very crowded and the tables were too close to each other, so it was hard to navigate in between the seats/tables to go to the buffet area.
The food quality was poor, our server should've been a dishwasher, we could barely understand a word he said. They give them selves an automatic 20% tip even for a party of 2, although the service was lacking.
