excellent view and amazing waitress 5 star cant wait to comeback.
The buffet brunch was amazing. The view of NYC was stunning. I will definitely go back!
Very nice location/view. The food is delicious. Looking forward to going back with friends ad family
I have eaten at this restaurant before.
Saturday night they had no table that was acceptable.
They wanted to put us in the hall next to the bar. My husband and I refused.
We decided to eat at the bar. We could only get a bar menu not a full menu.
At any other restaurant I can always get a full menu at the bar.
This was their loss as my husband and I only ordered a small amount of food for a little amount of money. This is the last time I will go to Waterside!!
Hostess and hat check people not friendly. Food server was outstanding. Views were outstanding. Restaurant decor also beautiful.
Our experience was great with delicious food and wonderful view to NYC. Service was up to par and we enjoyed the evening.
Great food and music. Danced till closing! The DJ was a bit full of himself but besides that it was a great night. Took my tip but didn't play the song I asked for "Despacito" till the end of the night. Very rude.
Very loud room. Extremely limited vegetarian choices. Staff did their best.
Great food. Service was ok. Great wine selections and awesome city view.
The only thing is the dinner is for anniversary and the singer happy birthday for me.
Ariel was a wonderful server as was the rest of the wait staff working on Sunday, Nov 10th. The food was great, my filet was cooked perfectly and I enjoyed it so very much. The avocado salad was delightful, not shareable, FYI. Great view of NYC for pictures before or after dinner. There was a wedding occurring and they seemed to be enjoying themselves which was really nice to hear. It was my sister's birthday and they brought out a sparkly candle with her dessert. I didn't even think to ask, since we we were all enjoying the meal and appetizers. The take out bags are actual cloth totes, something you can use more than once and not just to hold left over food.
After my third visit to Waterside, I was disappointed from the moment I approached the front desk. It took awhile for a greeting. I arrived at 8:25, and was told it will be 30 minute till a table becomes available. If I wanted to be seated at 9:00, I would have made the reservations for 9:00 not 8:30.
Once we seated at our table, it took 15 minutes before a server approach our table. I had to ask for water twice. Our order arrives, and now I am looking for our server to ask for some bread. The food was average not great for what they charge. It was my wish wife's birthday and I was embarrassed. I was ready to spend some money and have a great evening. We left Waterside disappointed. We found a place near by and, had a great rest of the evening. Sorry to say, that your staff was not impressive.
The food was good however our NY Strip steaks were overcooked. We felt a bit rushed as our reservation was for 5:30pm and arrived around 5:45pm. We have been to Waterside many times and request a table by the window but have yet to be accommodated which we find disappointing. We may reconsider going back in the future.
I went to celebrate my bday, food was great, the location was beautiful!
Our Filets were cooked very well, but a little over. We eat here often as we are locals. service was good. We will be back.
We were hoping for a nice lunch off the regular menu only to find out Sunday is just buffet. Unfortunately, their website doesn't state that. Way to many parties going on that our table wasn't ready for an hour even though we had a reservation. The buffet food wasn't refilled and it felt rushed. We were so disappointed and expected a beautiful view and great lunch only to get awful service for an expensive lunch.
my food was too salty - no discount was provided either - at the time of the reservation requested online a week prior of the day where specified under - comments " special occasion / request table by the window " yet was not provided upon request
it seems you are obligated to park on the Valet Parking / on top of what you pay to have a meal there you still have to pay / tip for valet parking as there is no other parking provided as you run into the residency parking
Have been a frequent patron as enjoy their grilled fish. This time the staff was not at all accommodating. We were seated among several very large tables. We ordered a Caesar salad to share and were not given an extra plate. My husband eventually tracked down our server who blamed the glitch on the individual bringing out the salad. I ordered a $57 tomahawk steak and had a difficult time changing the French fries on the menu for another type potato. We were told no substitutions which is fine for a casual inexpensive place bit not for pricey fine dining. The food os OK but they have lost our patronage.
For such a beautiful location, I can't believe you can't staff up your kitchen properly. I have never tasted blander food that was over-cooked and felt barely prepared at all. It tasted like you threw the ingredients on a plate and microwaved them with no seasonings at all. You should cut your losses and sell that space to someone who deserves it. Really pathetic.
Awesome waiter. Ariel. He was amazing. Food was amazing. Only thing I could really say needs to be changed is the music. Having a DJ play very loud music at 730 was a little disappointing. It felt more of a club than a nice dinner. And guys at the bar area yelling over the game on tv. That was also very annoying as other people are trying to enjoy their dinner at a top scale restaurant. Other than that it was very nice.
Wonderful vacation feel! Oscar made the evening extra special.
I thought it would of been a higher dress code towards “ dress to impress” and it really was “Pay the Bill” type of situation. Food was good but needed that extra unfum. To get you over the hump. But that’s me and my wife.
Wonderful outside seating restaurant with fantastic NYC skyline views!
Fabulous night dining under the stars. Our seafood pasta was incredible, the service simply impeccable - and the view of Manhattan spectacular. Highly recommended for a most memorable evening. These superlatives are accurate and well-earned!
The place is great. Food is consistently amazing. I Highly recommend it.
Amazing customer service. Great views of Manhattan. The staff were very polite and accommodating. Food was amazing. We had the veal (delicious) and seafood capellini (amazing). For appetizers the west coast oysters were fresh and the lamb rib-let ...to die for....should consider making that an entree.
I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends and would return to this restaurant.
Great for dates as well as hanging with friends.
I have a good experience every time I go to that place that’s why I’m always gonna keep go over there. Nice view, great customer service
The thing here is you go for the view which is wonderful. It was an uncommonly beautiful end of summer breeze with a delightful breeze under the outside canopy. The brunch was $39 including an alcoholic beverage. There was a mimosa which was sweet and with little orange juice. The Eggs Benedict had a soggy English muffin. They did not replenish the bacon and sausages. When I asked for half and half or cream for coffee, they did not have it. The guacamole was very good.
Had nice time. The views are incredible. Overall very good.
Manny was a great server, and the food, of course, was delicious!
John and Gus you are amazing. The food was incredible as well thanks
The food was excellent!! The view was breath taking!! I can’t wait to go back with a date!!
Poor menu, expensive for the quality of food.
Excellent place and ambiance
2nd visit to the waterside with the wife and it was just as fantastic as the first ! Weather was great , food was great, crowd was great.. really have nothing to criticize. The waterside is a great restaurant with a beautiful abiance .
Everything was perfect just the way I expected it. I had some nice pictures over there.
Horrible Dinner Experience .. start to finish.
Reservations not honored searing based on unorganized hostess “SYSTEM “.. outdoor seating is cheap decor and uncomfortable. Food was not superb taste was basic. Dinner for two $178 for that price alone food should have Been exceptional/ Dining it was not. View is nice however you have to step down and risk table being cleared by management. Server was ok, she recommended seafood unfortunately husband is allergic to shellfish. Steak was pricey and not cooked as ordered. Will definitely not recommend ever or return as a guest.
It is a beautiful location and the views are amazing. Very loud music, more disco type than to have a nice sit down dinner. One of our entrees was overcooked and overly priced. Our waiter heard our complaint and removed that from our check. Again, they could work on making the ambiance more inviting.
We went for my mother’s birthday and the server that we had It wasn’t attending like we spect I had to ask for him couple times.
