Love the view I felt rush me thru out Dinner did not appriciated it food was ok
The views are spectacular! The food is inconsistent. Some entrees are huge and some leave you hungry. But definitely a nice date night choice.
Nice ambience, but way too loud for dinner after 8 pm on Friday.
Had trouble hearing the people at my table. Everyone kept misunderstanding each other and asking "Sorry, what did you say"?
Would not return for that reason.
Great food and great atmosphere
Waterfront dining view is so lovely
Had an absolutely amazing experience, all the food was delicious and came out very quickly. My only complaint was the lack of filling in the raviolis as well as the very low quantity for the price. Other than the semi-disappointing ravioli, my partner and I had a phenomenal time and will definitely be returning.
We got married here, had dinner several times and the service is unmatched. The food is amazing the view is hard to beat. We will continue to come here for years to come. Try the bang bang shrimp, sea scallops, cod fish and the salmon you can’t go wrong. Strawberry cheese cake with the sorbet is a win as well. I can’t wait to go back
It was a good way to bring in my birthday! It was my first time at the restaurant and I didn’t know that they’re be a dj but that’s what made it better . I had a good time and my meal was good .
Enjoyed our experience at Waterside Restaurant! We went on a Friday night and it did not seem too busy at 7pm. We were sat at a table right next to a party of about 20 or more, so that made conversation a little difficult. The view was excellent and we took pictures on the patio outside before leaving. Food was good. I ordered the ravioli and would not order it again. The other guests ordered the salmon and steak and said they were delicious. We enjoyed a bottle of wine for a reasonable price and ended the meal with coffees. Would definitely go again and would like to check out the upstairs next time we visit. The valets were greatly helpful as they helped me air up a low tire on the way out. Superb service!
What an incredible view! The food and service were terrific! Ambiance on point. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you very much!
Took my family to Waterside for Sunday Brunch to celebrate a birthday. It was a fantastic experience in every way. The young lady who took the reservation could not have been nicer and arranged for a window-side table. The food (buffet style) in terms of both quality and selection was terrific and there was not a line as you find at some places. Additionally, the wait staff was extremely welcoming and very attentive. Lastly, we were not rushed in the least and ended the brunch with wonderful coffee and desserts. Overall, a great place to go for a special occasion.
Everything was good but be sure to check your bill. Our table was charged an extra bottle of wine after being told the house did not have any of that wine in stock.
Cozy place with great view. Delicious food. Reasonable prices. Our server Katherine took good care of our party. Thank you! We’ll be back
I loved everything about the restaurant. I can’t wait to go back.
It was fine but not outstanding
Great experience, great service! Food was perfect.
Interesting; the restaurant's ambiance is hard to pin down; sports bar with tables with a panoramic view of NYC.
My first time at Waterside was amazing, Thank you to our wonderful server for making it a great experience! We also had a great conversation. Food was delicious and will definitely come back.
Food was incredible
Enjoy the place, I will be back. It was my husband bday and they really catered to my needs, I ask for a window seat and got them to serve there special bday ice cream with sparkling lights.
Great place to celebrate and dance and eat.
The shrimp appetizer was great. I didn't care for the lobster tacos. I asked prior to be seated to sit by the window. When we arrived, we were taken to the back corner of the restaurant. I asked the waitress if we can sit by the window as requested and she just said that everyone asks to be seated by the window and only offered one table by the loud patrons by the bar. Overall, the food was average nothing spectacular but the view from my corner seat was nice. Hopefully next time we can get a closer view!
Excellent, professional, solutions-based service. Sergio was outstanding!
It was my husband’s birthday and I wanted to go somewhere we’ve not been to.. I was looking for fine dining with a NYC view and I found the Waterside restaurant. We were not disappointed, the food was very good, the service excellent. We will definitely be back.
When I made this reservation I had wrote that it’s for my wife’s birthday and that we wanted a table in the nice area. the waitress squeezed us in some time spot where we couldn’t even move , luckily the manager saw our faces and offered to move us. Our waitress looked like she hated her job and had no interest in making sure we had a nice time. It seemed as if she was eager for us to leave. I asked for a candle in the dessert
For my wife being that it’s her birthday,
That never happened. We will not be going back. Food is great but not a place
To go if you are looking to do something special for someone .
Loved this restaurant! The food was great and the views were amazing the ambiance was excellent! I Would actually make the drive to come here again!
I expected more from this restaurant, it was our first time going and i reserved a table two days before and especially asked to make the service and overall everything special since it was my husbands birthday. Absolutely we left disappointed from everything and the servers were horrible, it took one server to take forever to take our order and say at least Happy Birthday to my husband!
I wouldn’t go back, it’s not worth it, I mean I had always to go, but I wouldn’t even recommend The place. It’s just hype.
Foods mediocre there really expensive but there’s really no class in service. I love food I’m not going to lie my lasagna was good but it was basic.,
Great location however, severely hampered by the arrangement of the tables. You are literally sitting inches from other diners and the waiters are constantly pushing themselves against you as they try to navigate between the tables. Loudest restaurant I've ever eaten in (and I've eaten all over the world), so the atrocious noise level really takes away from any ambiance or view of NYC skyline. Waiter admitted after serving our main courses that our side dishes we had ordered were given to another table by accident. We were almost done with main courses before the side dishes finally arrived, lukewarm and appearing to have been thrown together in haste. Halfway through the meal, it finally dawned on me what the restaurant reminded me of...I felt like I was in a scene from Scarface. Not kidding, crazy noise, patrons screaming at each other to be heard, everyone pushed together inches apart from each other, huge "bouncers" (valets) standing at the double doors, gold guilding, lifted straight out of the restaurant scene from Scarface LOL. Would not try again, even though the mains were prepared very well.
I so highly recomento the restaurant if you’re looking for a romantic, intimate dinner with you loved one. Very nice staff. Food was amazing, clean stabelishment and price was very affordable.
At the time that we went was little cold inside But beside that was perfect
Like too many places that pin their reputations on ambience and views, the food here is mediocre at best. Fried calamari that are heavily breaded and chewy; scallops in a tasty sauce that barely covers their lack of sweetness and buttery texture; Brussels sprouts that are rock-hard and bitter; wines by the glass that taste like liquid filth. Go for a cocktail and a pretty view if you like, but don’t bother staying for the food. Oh, wait, the French fries were splendid, thin and crispy, and the steak was cooked rare as ordered. Hence, the third star.
Very lovely place
Food is awesome so are the staff
Very nice place to go for special occasions
Also the scenery is a plus
View and location are great. Service and food are just okay.
Went to celebrate my birthday and had a great time. Good food, great ambiance and service.
Food was great. Had the octopus salad which was good, the squid ink pasta, which was good, and the 32 oz bone-in prime which was delicious. A little on the salty side but that's about how all steakhouses make steaks unless specified (which I forgot to ask them to minimize the salt). But overall the food was great, the service was good, and overall a hidden gem.
Excellent restaurant and service. Food was great also.
We were rushed the entire time we were told we could not put separate orders in a little bit later we wanted to enjoy the evening and take our time we were still eating they took the dish away that's still had the sauce in there for the shrimp overall experience I would never go back there again whether I'm ordering five appetizers over a course of 2 hours or two appetizers and dinners we should have never been rushed out like that I feel your service needs to be reprimanded
The food was ok, god forbid you as for a separate check ...
They Charged us $10 for reheating an appetizer the baked ziti with this cold then
Then charged us 20% Gratuity for two adults and two kids
I get it’s the holiday season and you do auto grad to party’s 6 or more but come on ...
This is where I met my husband it's our go to place for everyday dining, special occasions whatever!! I love this place!!!
Food was delicious, however the service was subpar for the cost.
I love the view, it was amazing.
But the food quality wasn’t that good for example: the risotto was totally different than the original one that we eat at any Italian restaurant
