We live in the area, but had not heard of WaterScapes. We went there when we obtained a coupon. I checked the menu on the Internet and thought it a bit pricey, but felt the coupon would help. What a pleasant visit! Food and service were exceptional. Considering the quantity and quality, the price was right. We've added WaterScapes to our list of restaurants for repeated return visits. No coupon needed!

We (aka....my girlfriend....lol) chose this restaurant because of its rave reviews, so it's only right that I contribute a review myself. The reviews we saw didn't give this restaurant enough credit! The food was exquisite! The service and atmosphere were phenomenal! Although it was a little pricey, I didn't mind paying the bill after this phenomenal date night! Everything from the bread and goat cheese mixture, to the duck confit nachos, to the drinks (tiramisu martini and Weekend at the Beach), to the entrees (go with the chef's special...... you'll thank me later!), to the dessert (tiramisu) was absolutely amazing! This is the kind of restaurant that I'm sure has seen many proposals! My girlfriend and I decided to each order something we normally wouldn't, and then share. She had scallops, and I had stuffed flounder. While we decided we don't really like the texture of scallops, we loved the taste of everything! We left fully satisfied with our choice of restaurants, and I'm sure you will too.

Wasn’t impressed with the menu or the ambiance .. felt like we were walking down to a dungeon. Was overpriced for a hotel restaurant which, had I read all the info I would never had booked.. my bad. Good service but there was only 3 tables occupied.

Food and service was top notch. The scallop dish was incredible with many layers of flavor. My wife had the shrimp n grits which was not your typical shrimp n grits. Wonderful flavors and to end the evening, the chocolate, dark n white mousse cake with raspberry sauce was light but oh so tasty! Staff, including our server Chris were friendly always checking on us and timely. Can't wait for a return visit.

Reading the reviews which recommended scallops or steak. We decided to order the scallops. The scallops and accompanyments were very good. Unfortunately ordering a manhattan on the rocks, the drink delivered was red in color and did not taste like any manhattan I had ever had. The waitress did replace the drink with a mediocare manhattan. Was not impressed with the service and the outside table could have used a cleaning. Get the cushions for the seats. They are very low.

We took advantage of a local special coupon and we were rewarded with an excellent dining experience. My shrimp and grits was the best I've ever had. Steaks were cooked perfectly, scallops were fantastic and the pasta with clams was delicious. It is a place for special celebrations with comfortable seating and had outdoor tables also.

We are locals and this is the first time we have eaten at this restaurant. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Steaks same quality level as Ruth Chris at fair price. The filet, seared scallops, ribeye and pork chop were all excellent. Our server Stefani was very gracious and efficient - took very good care of us. Ray from Myrtle Beach.

My wife and I both had the special, which was mahi over corn and shrimp risotto with broccolini. In addition I had a cup of the sweet corn and potato chowder for a starter and the key lime cheesecake for desert. The presentation was great and everything tasted exceptional. I would highly recommend Waterscapes for dinner on a special occasion.

Another of our very favorite restaurants on the Grand Strand, Waterscapes has excellent food and service. Our waitress, Stephanie, has been outstanding the last times we've been there. Good for us (but not for them) this restaurant is rarely crowded so it is a very relaxed place to be with family or friends. And the chef is top-notch, who uses top-notch fresh ingredients. Highly recommended!

Well first the good. My wife and I thought that the food was excellent. She had the gnocchi and I had the special which was a mahi. The bread was good along with the goat cheese spread. The food presentation was excellent. We also had martinis to drink which were also good. The atmosphere was different than what we thought given the name. It's okay but not really setup for small tables and intimate dining. We were sat at a booth table for 5-6 people and there were only 10 patrons in the restaurant. No water views and the restaurant is right down the hall from the pool so you get that big chlorine blast before you walk into the restaurant. Service was iffy. I thought our waitress was generally nice but not characteristic of a higher end establishment. She spoke to us on a few occasions as a drive by and I didn't really know if she was really talking to us. Overall it really wasn't worth the price for two (over $100) but I left a good tip. I had a pretty upset stomach the next day and so did my wife but can't directly attribute it to the meal but nevertheless it's a one time visit for us.

My husband and I were staying at the Marina Inn and decided to try this restaurant based on an employee recommendation. It was outstanding. I had the scallops and they were perfectly prepared. My husband had the 10 oz filet and he said it was excellent. Dessert was a shared key lime pie/cake/ mousse. Not sure how to describe it but it was excellent. Service was friendly and attentive. We will return if we are ever in the area.

WaterScape was perfect for our Anniversary. My rib-eye stake was cooked to perfection and my husband really enjoyed his scallop dinner. Unfortunately he did have an allergic reaction for the first time in his life, we think from the shell fish but it was very good going down. Our waitress Sharon was new but she was attentive and personable. We would return to Waterscape restaurant. Everyone was so nice and I would definitely recommended this restaurant to friends.

Even though we've lived in North Myrtle Beach for years, we've never made it to Waterscapes until now. We have an amazing dinner and enjoyed dining outside on a beautiful evening. The service was outstanding and our server Stefani really nice and very helpful. We had to move inside before our dessert because of impending weather and Stefani got us setup at the bar for drinks and dessert. The bar (Reflections) has a great selection of custom cocktails and we enjoyed that with an amazing dessert! We will certainly make this one of our regular stops.
