We had two meals here, one breakfast and one dinner. First thing is they need to get the people who work at the host station up to speed on how Open Table works. They seemed not to know about Open Table at all. The food at breakfast and dinner was excellent. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices are a little on the stiff side. Two negatives - the TV in the bar was playing loud enough to be heard in the dining room during both meals. Not a good look for a 4 star resort. For dinner, when you have a couple come in with dinner reservations, it's not the best move to sit them next to a chatty table of 8 retirees. This is a good spot. It should be a great spot.

Food was just OK. Grilled fish drowning in sauce, needed a knife to cut it. Took forever to get our check due to some computer issue. Bartender in a far corner was playing cheesy Xmas music on a cheap radio. Sort of pathetic ambiance.

I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The service was horrible and super slow and the food was nothing special what so ever the only good thing was the starter the chili shrimp. I was so disappointed so much by this place, the reviews I read online made it seem to be the best place in Myrtle beach. I regretted the decision so bad that I actually believed the reviews and went there. It messed up my whole evening.

I wanted to personally thank the staff at WaterScapes. Myrtle Beach has been a special place for both my gf and I, so when it came time to propose, it was an easy call to do this in Myrtle Beach. The less easy call was where, and the staff at WaterScapes made the occasion more than memorable. The staff listened to my requests and followed them to a "T" . Not only were we given a table outside so we could enjoy the beautiful weather and sunset, but the service and food was amazing. Thank you again to the staff of WaterScapes for making a special evening that much more special .

This restaurant has so much potential but did not live up to it. We were the only table in restaurant , which was disconcerting. The menu and choice of wine was extremely limited and my husband's steak was inedible. They did offer to give him another but by then I was almost done with my main course. My dinner was mediocre and our Creme Brulee was gelatinous. It was our 35th wedding anniversary and the meal fell flat.

The restaurant was almost empty. We were there for dinner at 6:00 pm. The food was awful. I ordered Jambalaya and so did my guest. We were served something more like Risotto with seafood on top. The Seafood was not fresh and uncooked. The only positive thing about the evening, the waitress who was also the bartender provided good service.

Please choose anywhere else but this place. The experience was bad from the hostess down to the food. Upon arrival, the hostess was busy and very rude in her manner of speaking with customers. The salad I ordered was served with brown-tipped and wilting lettuce. The special I ordered had no flavor!! The steak my man ordered was cooked incorrectly. The soup we ordered had hard, uncooked beans in it. DO NOT EAT HERE.

Our server was excellent! Very attentive and knowledgeable, her suggestion were on the mark. Our steaks were seasoned perfectly and cooked to the proper temperature. Great experience that will bring us back!

We arrived for our reservation at the opening and were the only customers for a time. Everyone was very friendly and engaging. The meal was excellent as well as the service. It was made more affordable by a coupon from our local paper that saved $30.00. The experience was quite enjoyable.

There is no view so if marina view is important then this is not the place. The noise from other parties was terrible. The food shrimp cocktail tasteless, my snapper hardly worth the money my husband had pork milanese was a very thick cut and dry. Our server ann was very nice but had her hands full with other tables

Admittedly arrived 10 minutes late for a 6:45 reservation. When we arrived, there was no one at the front desk and waited a while for someone to pass by. When I did recognize the person as the front of the house person, she looked preoccupied with something going on in the dining room and was telling another staff member something. She looked at us waiting, but proceeded to monitor whatever was going on for a full minute before walking to the front desk. She checked us in and said that our table would be ready in 5 to 7 minutes, and that we can wait by the lounge area and have a beverage. We immediately sensed the tension in her. She was not rude or impolite, but was definitely not welcoming. We did as suggested, however there was no bartender there. After a few minutes she showed up and was pouring a drink for a patron that was already seated, but did not acknowledge us. We sensed the same tension coming from the bartender as well. After she poured the drink, she left to the back. She was gone for a few good minutes. She returned with her cell phone, placed it on a table next to the bar, and then left again, with the drink the she poured still there (and still not acknowledging us). After waiting a few minutes after that with no one in site (it was now 15 minutes after we checked in) we felt uneasy and got up to leave. I would have told the front of house person that we were leaving, but she was nowhere to be found.

Very disappointing. I ordered a house salad with seared tuna. The salad had numerous pieces of decayed lettuce. The tuna was prepared properly but had very little taste. It had not been marinated in anything. For the price--it was a poor value--even after they took off $5 when I complained about the salad showing the decayed lettuce.

Searched for water view restaurant and WaterScapes came up. However, the only water view we saw was the swimming pool. There is a wall around the outside area with an opening to walk through. Our server stated that everyone complains about the view. However, the food was outstanding and the service was great.

I went for my 15th anniversary. We waited several minutes for our server to greet us (able to completely decide on drinks, apps, and meal and still wait before the server arrived). Outside dining is next to the hotel pool, so it’s not really a good choice (thought it would be overseeing the marina). Waterscapes salad was delicious. Pasta pomodoro was a mismatch between type of pasta and consistency of sauce with peels of tomatoes coming off. The paella is not a paella but instead a seafood risotto. Overpriced for what we received. We will not return.

Nice decor and ambience. Nice selection of menu items, well prepared, but on the pricey side. Excellent value if one has the BOGO coupon which we did. Service was very friendly and attentive. However, there were only a handful of people there on a Tuesday night.
