Sarah did a great job making the dining experience wonderful.
Great food. Kind of pricey, and not huge portions. But very good.
The service was excellent and it was a very clean calm environment; however the food was unfortunately inedible. As far as the staff and making things as best as they could I cannot speak highly enough of!
Service very slow, children’s meal came out 15 minutes after everyone else’s.
They said they had a waterfront view, only view of water was the community pool. Food was extremely bland (pomodora and shrimp and grits) and chicken was not fresh. Basically like chewing rubber. Do not go there unless you wanna pay for $100 burger king meal.
I truly enjoyed having my birthday dinner at this establishment. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious . Plan to visit again when we are in the area.
One of our favorites. The menu should be updated. Same items from over a year ago. This time the ribeye had quite alot of fat, and the asparagus was skimpy (only 4 stalks). Shrimp and grits passable.
It appeared to be a nice restaurant on the marina from online but was just the hotel restaurant next to a pool of noisy kids.
Nice quiet restaurant with great food and attentive service
Standard hotel restaurant with no water views. Located next to the hotel pool (in use by guests) which detracted from ambiance. Misleading as a top romantic restaurant in myrtle beach.
food was awesome, service was excellent, a little noisy by the pool, but overall had a great time
We had shrimp & grits. The shrimp were undercooked and crunchy, and the tails had not been removed. We had to take each shrimp from the bowl and use the bread plate to remove the tail, and then return it to the bowl. The server was very pleasant, but did not offer a remedy. Instead, he brought out a dish of ice cream.
Very pleasant meal. The staff were super friendly and attentive. Food was prepared very well, as was the presentation. Really appreciated being the first to try the curry/squash soup. Very tasty, and the "heat" was just right. Perfect seared snapper, and cream sauce fit the fish just right. Thanks!
Dinner was outstanding! This was our first time at WaterScapes Restaurant and would definitely go back. I had the pork milanese, and my husband had the scallops. They were both delicious and would recommend them. We started with the shrimp cocktail and ended our dinner with the creme brûlée. Everything we had was so delicious. It was a great evening, and we were happy we went here.
Ate with 4 adults and 2 children. (Ages 2 and 6). The children’s menu was actually better than most places in the area. Wife and I had the short rib Ragu. Was absolutely incredible and the pasta was fresh and I would assume made in house. Probably the best dining experience I’ve ever had in Myrtle beach. Definitely will return if we’re in the area and would come very close to the better restaurants from Charleston to New Orleans.
Great staff. Restaurant is casual with great food. Located in the Hotel (Marina Inn at Grand Dunes) it wasn't packed when we visited so I'm not sure if it get more crowded at peak season, but food was delish
Food & service we're terrible. $40 for a thin, crappy steak is ridiculous.
I selected WaterScapes because it was listed as one of the most romantic restaurants in MB and to that point, the restaurant is located in the Marina Inn Grande Dunes which is a beautiful hotel. Unforntunly, WaterScapes is located on the ground floor, next to the pool, which does not offer much of a view at all. The food, service, and price were all great, the atmosphere was just not what we were looking for...
Nice place, just not very romantic in my opinion.
We went for our anniversary dinner. John the waiter was wonderful. The food was fantastic. My fillet was cooked perfectly. The chocolate mousse cake was very good and beautiful.
A diamond in the rough. Quaint dining room in the basement of the Marina Inn. Service was great. Food was outstanding. We had the diver scallops and they were delicious!
The food was way overpriced and the service wasn't great
Best nite with Sharon our waitress
Besides the other diners giving us looks because our children were present (we were there on vacation!) it was enjoyable.
While the food was great (and it really was), the atmosphere was not so appealing. The restaurant is located on the bottom floor of the resort. You have go downstairs and through the fumes of the indoor pool to get there. If you’re a guest at the resort, it’s a very nice restaurant, but for a local who drove 30 mins to get there, it’s nothing more than a hotel restaurant with no view. On top of that, we never saw the valet attendant. After waiting 5 mins or so, my husband just parked in one of the valet spots. After dinner, we got in our car and left, still no attendant in sight. Thankfully, the delicious meal saved the experience for us!
While nicely appointed being here before season staffing limited, wish they had more choices for a Friday during lent
We dined with another couple. Each of us ordered a different entree. All were excellent
as were desserts. We were all very pleased with the entire meal.
Our waiter Chris was terrific. Food was lovely and the drinks were unique and tasteful. Wish we were outside but the rain didn’t cooperate. We will return and recommend this place!
Birthday Really special service!
We generally love WaterScapes and have been there many times; however recently they changed their menu; there are almost no main course options for vegetarians; the Moroccan chicken was overcooked as were the vegetables that came with it and it was overall not very appetizing; and the seafood paella was not impressive; however the prices for it all are quite high. We have always come back to WaterScapes for the outstanding food and the quiet/pleasant atmosphere, and will probably keep coming. But this last meal was a disappointment. The service, nevertheless, remains excellent
Very disappointing. Had been there in prior years. Food quality has gone down. Friendliness and service was mediocre. Too many great choices in Myrtle Beach. Won't be back to Waterscapes.
What are scapes was a fabulous fine for us. We typically go with friends and always asked for Sharon our waitress. This time we got to have Sharyn again and as usual she was over the top. She initially was assigned for a large party but surely would’ve given her a much higher tip than just four people but she chose to give that to one of her fellow workers and take care of us
We love the atmosphere, music they play, service, great wine, and they cook your food however you want...delicious steak...hot bread with olive I’ll, herbs and got cheese to dip it in...fabulous salt caramel gelato! Love it there. Outdoor seating in nice weather.
Assumed because called Waterscape seating was by water or view of water or there are fountains. None - didn't make sense. Overall , good, simple Valentine's Day menu. Terrific service.
We had a party of 4, two of the party members were vegetarian and the were very please with pasta selections. My husband had a fillet that he said melted in his mouth and I decided I will only have crab cake small plate because it was getting late and I wanted something light. Food was of very good quality, restaurant was clean and quiet, staff was very friendly and service was excellent.
We will definitely visit WaterScapes again and will absolutely refer friends there. Desserts were fresh and they have some other meals I would like to try.
Nice place our server was amazing. Friendly fun it was a great experience. And the food was great
Disappointed!!! So boring hopefully more atmosphere in season and outside dining but so empty and so boring on this night !
Food was very good but they definitely need to add to their menue......
service was EXCELLENT but then again not busy at all 😱
Birthday lunch. Excellent food and one of the best restaurants around. First visit here even though I’ve been living here 2 years. Pleasantly surprised. Will definitely return.
Very nice restaurant
. Service was good and the food was excellent. Very quiet and enjoyable.
We went for restaurant week and loved it. We will definately go back!
