Watermark Restaurant - Niagara Falls
The Watermark elevates guests' dining experiences to new heights with gracious service, inventive cuisine, an extensive wine selection, and stylish design that is only surpassed by the stunning, floor-to-ceiling, panoramic views of both the American and Horseshoe Falls.
Located on the 33rd floor, The Watermark' elegant, contemporary ambiance is reminiscent of the majestic Niagara Falls itself. Our menu is inspired by both local and regional producers from fine crafted Niagara regional wines to prosciutto from a Niagara Falls local artisan. Tim O'Donnell, our Executive Chef, uses fresh seasonal ingredients that transpire into creative dishes.
Our new fixed-price menu allows you to customize your dining experience.
Seating requests are NOT guaranteed, however we will do our very best to accommodate them.

Amazing view, super staff and great decor!!
It was an amazing experience. Staff were very attentive and accommodating. Very close attention to making sure we were safe and seated far enough from other people.
Restaurant was very beautiful and the view is amazing. The chefs are definitely skilled because everything tasted so good. The lamb was cooked to perfection.
Service was fantastic. Steak was exceptional.
We will be back
Great view, good food, service.
the charcuterie board was awesome! The creme brulee cheesecake was delicious as well!! Presentation was beautiful! Steak was good.
Amazing, great view, great food and great service.
It was a great experience, the food was all delicious, the service was very fast and came often enough to fill our glasses, but not so much to interrupt us. The view was stunning, and the atmosphere was perfect for quiet conversation
Came for our anniversary, 3rd visit to Watermark. Reserved our table 1 month in advance, got bumped time slots twice. Only 3 tables were seated due to COVID so I would expect the dinner to be on-point. Can't be too overwhelming to cook for 10 ppl.
Appetizers seemed pre-cooked and warmed up, not impressive. Main course - steak was cooked well bit served with 2 asparagus, 2 quarters of pepper and 1 sad carrot. All steamed with no seasoning. Dessert was alright, certainly not made in house. Our server was nice though.
We paid the extra $8 or 9 for the steak, 2 bottled beers and a cocktail and ended up just shy of $300 for an underwhelming and seriously disappointing anniversary dinner. Will never come back.
Hope the owners realize the sheer lack of 'upscale' that is being delivered, especially given the options in Niagara Falls.
The view is spectacular, especially in the evening. The food was good but not amazing. Pricy but worth the great ambiance, great service and a beautiful view.
Late to seat us, gave us a poor seating arrangement, then rearranged us only to then tell us we were on a time crunch to leave
The Watermark is a wonderful location to have a nice intimate dinner. The view is beautiful day or night. Limitations due to COVID have not impacted the quality of the food or service.
Great atmosphere and view of the falls and amazing tasting food
Had my heart set on the blue banquettes over looking the falls for our anniversary dinner. Instead we were taken to a different level in a closed off corner of the restaurant with 2 other tables (which were packed not more than 2 feet away from us.. so much for social distancing) anyways big windows offered beautiful views regardless. My salmon was melt in your mouth buttery. My boyfriends short rib was good but nothing outstanding for the price we paid. My berry tart was good but the crust was very hard. Drinks were very over priced but our server was helpful and polite. The bread and oil that came to our table was missing balsamic and very much needed it because it was bland otherwise. When requested, the balsamic was brought to the table. These are the reasons for my rating.
On this occasion we celebrated our 22nd Wedding Anniversary and as usual everything was top notch. The food was outstanding as always and our server was Peter and he was a delight to have. Again we requested a window table and were pleasantly surprised when we were seated in an upper level table making the view and overall experience just that much more. Cheers to all who made our night that much more special and we'll see you in the near future.

Food was good - although not as good as the price and experience. With so much space available during COVID times, all the seating was back-to-back. I expected different, spread out seating. Our server was great - nice and considerate. Salad and main course were good but the chocolate cake was not up to the mark at all. It was dry and hard.
We have eaten here twice and have enjoyed it both times. For this visit, we were celebrating both of our birthdays and the staff went out of their way to ensure it was special for us. Even jazzing up our dessert plates with a
Happy Birthday message.
Food was excellent.
Awesome view from the window side table.
Spectacular view of the falls from any table. Gorgeous aquatic themed decor. The food was amazing. And our server Jess was fantastic! Overall, a great dining experience!!
We dinned at the Watermark for my girlfriend’s birthday. As a local, I heard many great things about the Watermark so that’s where I decided to take her.
Service was very good. Our server (can’t remember her name... Melissa maybe?). She was attentive and friendly.
However, the food was not to my standards. The charcuterie board lacked character and flavor. Calamari was very plain. I ordered the Prime Rib, which asked to be Medium Rare (which is also standard). Instead, it came to my table medium well. I also saw another customer complain about the temperature of his Prime Rib.
Overall, very underwhelmed. When someone is spending $300 (including drinks and tip) on a meal, one would expect a little more creativity and attention to detail.
The food was extremely overpriced for what you get. Spent over $300 on a dinner for two and left there feeling like we got robbed. There was nothing special about the main course. Paid $14 for a bland soup and $16 for a cocktail that tasted horrible. The view was great but sadly, I do not think I will be returning.
Food is tasteless for vegetarians. It is too much of western preference. Need to also concentrate on Asian community tastes.
The food was good and the view was lovely. Nice place to visit.
We had a great server Michelle, she was efficient and friendly.
Food was very good, my salmon was good, my husbands Prime rib was lovely.
The only flaw I would say would be my starter, I had the shrimp and avocado, the taste was good, but the avocado looked like it was mashed up earlier so was not pleasing to the eye.
The view is amazing, I miss the bright lights of the Casino though.
We have eaten here a few times for special occasions and it’s a place will definitely return again and again.
Great ambience, excellent service, and good menu selection but a bit overpriced for small portions.
We have eaten at the Watermark before and have been very pleased with the meals in the past, but were disappointed on our recent night out recently. Although the view is outstanding (great view of the falls) and the service by our waiting was also outstanding (very attentive, communication was great, answered any questions we had), we were disappointed by the food.
The focaccia bread served was tasteful, but a bit too greasy for bread.
We both ordered the calamari for our appetizer. The presentation was good, but both orders were under cooked for breaded calamari and fell apart trying to eat.
My spouse ordered the chicken, but found that it was too dry. She returned it for the short ribs with no complaints. As for myself, I ordered the short ribs. Presentation was good and the meal was hot. The short ribs was a good portion, but could have been seasoned better.
We both had the cheesecake for desert and were pleasantly surprised by its richness (no complaints).
Overall, we were not impressed with the price paid for the meal being served. We felt it was too overly priced. Not to mention that the $30 dinner voucher we received by the hotel fails to tell you that the voucher is really only $26.55 as they take off the remainder for the tax. This is a little deceive and was not appreciated.
The server Michelle was very nice and helpful
Although the scenery was nice, our experience was not. We thought it would be nice to have dinner overlooking the falls. Booking was easy!! Greeting was nice!!!
We got to our table with a nice view and we were excited. We ordered our drinks and the martini was made wrong and forgot to add olive juice. Waiter finally brought some after forgetting for a bit. We ordered our food!!!
Food came quickly course after course. My partner ordered the Beef tenderloin and asked for it well done and it came out still pink and when chewing it felt like chewing on a tire.
During the pandemic of covid we expected the restaurant to seat people every other table but this was not the case the cramped everyone in. People around us were leaving there seats and taking pictures without masks being worn as well as sitting at other tables.
Overall what was supposed to be a nice dinner out ended up being a bad experience. We were pretty sad when we left.
Probably the worst tenderloin I’ve ever had. Worst $250 dinner I can recall. Meat was extremely flavourless and hard. At this price range I’m expecting a lot more.
Wonderful date night! And our serve Mark was awesome!!!
Mediocre food, inattentive service. Great views however.
Food service and view was amazing. Very dim lighting made for an extremely intimate dining experience with perfect views of both horseshoe and American falls. Food was so delicious and we appreciated our server mentioning our option of substituting a third start for a dessert to share which we did. Portions and presentation were perfect for a fine dining night out.
Production line, cookie cutter food product. It was like the knock-off Gucci handbags. Looks authentic on the surface, but underneath poor quality. The only difference is with the knock-off bags the price reflects what it truly is. Here they charge 5 star rates for 3 star quality. Sure the view was awesome, but that is free by standing besides the falls.
My Salmon was not seasoned, the Brie was excellent, the ravioli very good, the guacamole too bad and I’m not sure the first orden of those little breads were excellent, the seconds were terrible cold. At the end we were there and enjoy our anniversary and that’s it. Happy
Ah desserts perfect
Absolutely not worth the $250 for two people. The food was bland and unimpressive. The calamari was too fishy in smell and chewy in taste, not enough breading. We tried to order a Caesar salad which they didn’t have.. but their house salad was nothing special. The steak was overcooked and not flavorful enough. The mushroom ravioli was okay but not spectacular for a high end restaurant like this. The dessert cheesecake was average. Nothing special.. it seemed like a boxed cheesecake that was plated.
The highlight of the meal was the free bread!
The service was horrible. We were barely waited on, and even after stacking our appetizer plates and the waitress bringing our drinks over, we had to ask to remove the stack of dirty plates.
The view does not make up for the cost of the meal.
Truly disappointing all around.
Our dinner was ok; not great but not terrible by any means. I found the steak and potatoes very salty. The calamari was terrible and I didn’t eat it. My husband had a salad for an app and it was very good. His entree was ok as well. It was quite expensive for the quality of the food imo. We were there around 6 or 7 years ago and found the food and ambiance better however I’m sure things have been difficult since Covid and this has probably affected the quality.
Our bill came out to $173 ...that’s ridiculous .. all we ate was salmon without enough rice or sauce.. it just doesnt make sensee its to much .. a decent amount for the 3 course meal we ate would have been $90 more then that is just crazy
The view was amazing but food was expensive with very small portion
Very romantic, great view, great ambience, great service.
Asked specifically for a table on the window for a birthday dinner - didn’t get it. Was immediately told once we sat down that we only had an hour and a half so to order quickly. Food is good but insanely overpriced ($340 for 2 people for a good but not great meal). One main came out cold. The view is nice and the food is good, but surely not worth it, and definitely not a fine dining experience compared to most places (tourist trap)
I enjoyed the ambience, the service, the atmosphere. The entree soup and dessert were amazing. But the main meal could use some ameliorated taste. The salmon was good but the rice and veggies were bland.
