Excellent food and service. It has a fantastic view of the falls
Food is over price specially for New Year’s Eve. It’s also not communicated not even on their website and open table.
Amazing service, food and the night was perfect.
I made a reservation for New Years ($129) per person. The amuse de bouche was awful, we even had an extra one because someone at the table was dairy free and no one wanted it. The appetizer I chose was a quinoa and arugula salad. I didn’t see any quinoa, the salad was plain and tasteless. The dinner was simple and basic. They brought some sorbet to cleanse the palate, which was just freezer burned. The poached pear dessert had blue cheese in it which was awful. Champagne was promised at the end… one taste and we knew it was just an awful cheap sparkling wine. The service was great, view was great, but to spend over $500 for three people on awful food, go somewhere else. Also, don’t promise champagne when it’s sparkling wine. It’s just false advertising
Amazing service! However, the food is not as great as it used to be.
The ambiance was beautiful, and the view was magnificent for a special Christmas weekend getaway for two. Unfortunately, I can not say the same for the food. I hate to give a review that speaks ill of the place because of the food, but the truth is the truth. Not only was the shrimp rubbery. We had the turkey Christmas dinner. I was sick when I left the restaurant and barely made it back to our room, and I was up all night on the toilet. My partner was not as sick. Thankfully, by the time we checked out our room, my stomach settled down and on the drive back home, we didn't have to make an unexpected stop at the restrooms. I am more thankful I had one more day to rest before returning to work because, with my stomach issue, I hardly slept. We planned to visit next to the casino after dinner, but it didn't happen.
Beef short ribs was divine. You gotta have the Creme brûlée cheesecake.
Very nice experience, we will be going back in the summer. Thank you for a great night!
the view is beautiful and the staff very welcoming
Food as bad as before, no improvement since very first time visited
The environment and view is good, but food really sucks. Most people can cook better steak at home than their chief.
If you want a tasty dinner with someone special, do not come here.
Good was excellent, service was fantastic, perfect atmosphere
The food was tasteless and overpriced!!
View from top is superb. Ambiance is ok. A little bit pricey for 2 people but its ok to splurge once in a while.
The restaurant is pretty and the view is beautiful. The server was very nice and polite but took forever clearing the table. The food, well I really have nothing positive to say. I sent my meal back. At most, there were 30 guests with a pricey prix fixe menu. No reason to not get it right. Not sure if this is a Hilton run restaurant, if it is, they really need to re-evaluate the situation.
My reservation was at 7:30pm
The greeter and waiters didn’t seem that happy to see us. They were not rude , but you can tell they just wanted to go home. When I informed the waiter we just wanted to get drinks she seemed disappointed.
I had booked for a wedding proposal and we got a booth with a excellent view.
The waiter didn’t even acknowledge the special moment even though I’m sure she saw the ring and the ring box on the table.
Over we enjoyed our time together at the restaurant but could have been better.
Great place for the price, great staff and overall, we love the place that’s why we keep coming back.
Wonderful restaurant for celebrating a special event -- great view of the Canadian falls too!
Very expensive for quality of food.
Extra for shrimp cocktail, which was 3 small rubbery shrimp, certainly not tiger shrimp as advertised.
Salmon for main meal was tasteless.
Bread budding with raisins had 2 raisins on top.
The menu looked good, the location was top notch but unfortunately that’s where the positives stop. Apart from our server who tried his best even advising on what not to have on the menu as it wasn’t very good (the duck). The caneloni was undercooked and the venison filling warm at one end and cold at the other! The deserts were also under par. Which is a shame. The bread and butter pudding with the sauce had a very nice flavour but again was cold and as such gloopy.
I get that we are just entering out of the pandemic and that the volume is not the same as before. I get that food companies are also reeling from months of nothing. Menus should still reflect at least more than one vegetarian item. But the meat eater in me was pleased. My mother in law and wife had the same meals.
I would not recommend this restaurant. The service, ambience and view were just wonderful. The food was just disgusting. It was so bad that it ruined the evening. I had to leave the table as I was embarrassed that I booked this place. We were there for a milestone birthday and we left extremely disappointed. My father became sick that evening as well. I am a trained chef who works in the industry and could not believe how bad it was. The lamb was old, the salmon was smelly and unseasoned. My brussle sprouts were black. The staff admitted there were issues in the kitchen. Where is management? It is not hard to take a few seasonal ingredients and build a short simple menu for service. That is not a prefixed price. of $89/Person. Less is MORE!! Please call Ramsay!! You will be happier with a fresh hot pizza from the street.
Also Call me if you need help with creating a beautiful menu. Happy to help you .
The food and service was exceptional. As someone that loves dining out and has been to many high end restaurants in Toronto, I highly recommend visiting Watermark at the Niagara Hilton. The view of the falls is beautiful with window seat dining. Thank you to the Watermark team for making our anniversary dinner a memorable one!
We loved it. Excellent food and amazing view!!
Too expensive. Food wasn’t anything special. Ambience was good.
I can understand the pricing for the view that once was but is no longer
You should have gone to the city and asked for a variance on the height of the building in front
The food was good the staff were nice
The food was not good at all. My husbands food came cold and definitely not what we expected at all. We had to ask for our drinks a few times and came after we were half way through appetizers. The waiters were extremely busy talking and not paying attention. Definitely won’t be going back
We were expecting a wonderful view and experience for our 4th anniversary. What we got was a view of the casino, inattentive wait staff and cold food. Don’t let the photos on the website deceive you.
Our steak had no Taste at all. the soup was only ok, the best part of the meal was the chocolate cake. we had a table of 4 people and it cost $545.00 the Keg would have been much better and a lot cheaper.
Wonderful food, great service. Overall very good experience. It was a little confusing figuring out how to get to the restaurant, would have been helpful if they told you in the reminder messages how to get there.
Service was amazing .
Food was fantastic.
I highly recommend the cream boulet cheese cake
Great food and service. Perfect for a romantic date
Horrible food, service from waiter was not up to par. The price of the food was definitely not worth it. Ny steak was flavourless. You are basically paying an arm and a leg just to be able to get the view. Better to go to a big chain restaurant and go on the sky tower after.
Excellent service, food and viewpoint . It is well worth a visit 😀
Found the food very bland. Not much taste. The best part of the meal was dessert.
Very good experience, great table with view of both Canadian and USA falls, meal we ordered was to the tee, steak was cooked just right and the rest of the food we had was really nice. No complaints at all and would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Food was excellent and presentation was very impressive it was a little pricey but was a very enjoyable experience
If you read nothing else, just know this, Worst $300 ever spent on a meal in my life!
-waiter was great. He really tried to be attentive and fix things but the issues were not in his control.
-View was nice of the falls but there are better views at better places.
-the plating was very nice. Artistic and looks great on pictures if you are just here for the Gram
Cons: the food was horrible. Absolutely inedible. I started with the Moroccan Style ribs. Again, played beautiful, but they were absolutely rubber. Has to have been made days ago and reheated to death. Absolutely no flavor to them. Salad was ok. Paid extra for the charcuterie board that said that came with some meat patte but wasn’t there. Cured Meats were good. Supermarket quality good. Salmon dish was bland. Cooked well but with no character or flavor. Duck was like licking soy sauce. Finally dessert. Let me just say, if you charging people almost $100 a meal plus drinks and add-on’s, using canned chocolates a sin.
Stay away. Don’t waste your money. This place doesn’t care about food. It’s a complete tourist trap and I’m a sucker for wasting $300 there for 2 people.
Food was awful from apps to dinner. The best thing was the free bread at the start and desert. Had the salmon and rice and it was gross. Apps were awful.
