We had heard great things about his restaurant. The manager (?) was very snooty and openly rude to the hostess in front of us...kind of set a bad tone for our date. The food was delicious and very well presented. The hostess was polite and our waiter was great...they need to reconsider management and how they speak to both employees and customers. It was very off putting and uncomfortable. I would return for the food. Expensive and there really isn’t much of a “view”, but it’s in a quaint part of Laguna and delicious.
We've been here several times for anniversary and a few times with friends. A bit on the pricey side but always a good meal and ambience...if you get a seat upstairs. If I couldn't sit upstairs I would rather pay to eat somewhere else. Always enjoyable and service has always been good. And of course you have to get the best gelato in town next door after dinner.
All our grazing dishes and main courses were delicious and well prepared. Paella was a particular favorite for some of our party. But the item people two days later are still mentioning is the ahi watermelon skewer. Great combination. Good wine list and they brought us tastes of several wines to help us decide.
The food was terrible, especially considering the prices.
One of my favorites for years - consistently great food and top notch service
Nice choice for brunch in Laguna.
One of the best meals we’ve had lately. Our server was lovely (on New Years).
We've gone to Watermarc many times. Mostly on Sunday for brunch. They have great bloody mary's at a great price. I especially like their duck confit.
We had an excellent meal on a Saturday night. The service was efficient and courteous. The atmosphere was pleasant and the food was generally good except for the ribeye steak which
was excellent and reasonably priced-$49 for a 16 OZ cut. Also, the bread pudding was very
good. All-in-all an fine evening at a reasonable value.
We look forward to visiting Laguna when we visit from Texas! Watermarc is ALWAYS a place we dine. Their door is fresh and creative. The house made chips are the best splurge. The paella dishes are great but really large portions so maybe sharing this with a salad is a good idea. Plank salmon is beautiful and delicious!
Lunchtime salads are great as well as sandwiches.
