The menu and ambiance were exactly what we were hoping for...casual outside dining on the water.
I would love to review this restaurant but unfortunately we were not able to eat here. We had a reservation and arrived right on time. There was no one at the hostess stand. We waited a few minutes and still no one, so we went inside to find someone. We told the bartender we had a reservation. Maybe its because it was so loud but he didn't seem to understand. He told us we could just try to find a seat but there weren't any available. This is why we made the reservation in the first place. They were not helpful or accomodating - it was like they had never heard of Open Table. Very frustrating experience - I doubt we will go back.
We made a reservation for dinner on a Saturday night. The service was pretty good for ordering food, excellent for clearing plates and empty glasses. The guacamole was excellent, very spicy. Beer menu was decent, although not extensive. Too many basic beers, not enough of the local or small brewery choices. I had the spicy poke which was amazingly good...could have eaten a second helping easily. Rest of the group's food was good also. The biggest drawback....it is REALLY loud in there. That is ok if you are looking for a bar for picking up a take home date, but not great to have a conversation. We were literally yelling across the table to be heard and had to almost scream our order to the waitress, who acknowledged the noise levels. Perhaps this is a case of the wrong time of day for what we wanted.....the food might bring me back, but with all the other places around there, I would likely try out other locations before returning. Good but not amazing.
