I've been to a lot of other hyped up places in OK, but this one wins every time I return. They've really settled into a good rhythym, and the food is tough to beat. Each ingredient stands out and fits together with the others harmoniously. Top notch.
Waterfront wines is our all time favorite restaurant to dine in Kelowna. My husband and I have been going there for many years and we have never had a bad experience. The service is exceptional and the food is so so delicious. Pretty sure we have tried everything. If you go, you HAVE to get the potted foie gras. Heaven in a dish. Great place for a date night, quiet patio and restaurant.
The food was amazing and all ingredients were from local sources. Service was amazing and friendly. Will definitely visit again,
My first time there although I’ve lived in Kelowna for over 20 years. The food - I had the Prawn risotto- was probably one of the finest meals I’ve ever had. Simply delicious. Will certainly be back.
We are regulars. This visit was probably one of the most disappointing experiences. We always celebrate at Waterfront. I felt the service was lacking. The food was great as always. Server needed more training on specials and time management. $400 dinner for a family birthday for four people could have been better.
This is my favourite place to eat in kelowna - hands down.
Although the patio is not "waterfront" as I anticipated, the food really made up for it. While few menu choices, the food we had was delicious and flavourful. Would recommend this place for a date night in Kelowna.
Easily the best restaurant in the Interior of BC. Chef Mark Filatow is unmatched in his delicious food and perfect flavour combinations. There is nothing that comes close to his food.
we were seated inside near the open kitchen and meat fridge. it’s nicely tucked away from noise on the other side of the restaurant. our server was awesome... unfortunately i forgot his name. it’s a relatively small menu but their quality and flair makes up for it. everything on their charcuterie plate (added black truffle gouda cheese) was excellent. normally the olives and pickles are overly salty or sour but surprisingly theirs had the perfect balance. duck breast and halibut dishes were cooked to perfection. vanilla angel cake with peppercorn ice cream was odd but delicious!
Best Halibut I have ever had. Will definitely go back again.
Everything was great. No complaints whatsoever
A great menu with great service that never disappoints.
Amazing food and service. Wish I could remember the name of our waitress but she was phenomenal. Great food and wine recommendations, helped us with a breakfast spot the next day and some wineries to tour based on the wine we liked. Fantastic night. Highly recommend.
Good, fresh food but very expensive for 'good' rather than 'exceptional'.
We had great service and we enjoyed 2 great appetizers and shared a lovely trout dinner, a creative summer cocktail and wine of coarse!!!
Ubdercooked pasta and raw scallops. No discount given?
Other food was good.
Fantastic spot and service. Will be back! Inviting place with a great vide and feel. Food was Amazing and resonably priced for great quality.
We chose to dine on the patio which was comfortable on a warm evening. The menu only offered a Caesar salad and when we inquired if it was possible to get s small green salad we were told that the kitchen did not have other salad greens. The Caesar salad was okay - nice flavour in the dressing, chopped romaine lettuce, a piece of grilled baguette instead of croutons and a very light dusting of Parmesan cheese. Pretty run of the mill for $12.
We each ordered a glass of wine which was delivered half way through our salad course.
I ordered the hangar steak for my main and my partner had halibut. The steak was nicely cooked rare and tender. It was placed sliced on top of an enormous pile of mashed Yukon gold potatoes. Definitely a dish for a meat and potatoes person. Under the meat and drenched in pan juices were some zucchini blossoms and a few oyster mushrooms. While a nice addition to the plate, they were a bit drowned in both jus and potato. The whole dish was tasty, but quite unremarkable for $34.
We had asked for some bread during our salad course. It arrived well through our main course. We were told that the kitchen was backed up when we inquired when we might receive our bread.
My partner’s halibut was nicely cooked - dry fried in a hot pan I would guess. It too came with a few vegetables. Again, while tasty, was unremarkable for $37.
All in all, a mediocre experience. The food is fine, but lacklustre for the price and the wait staff and kitchen need to be better coordinated.
“Waterfront Wines” was a street-view restaurant. Although we had made a proper reservation the first thing our waiter asked when greeting us was if we wanted to quickly place our order because we were on a time crunch for the next reservation arriving after us. It made the whole meal feel hurried. The meals were not hot. The outdoor furniture felt cheap and uncomfortable. The food was overpriced given the ambiance, service, and quality.
I always love coming here. Food is wonderful as is the service. I drag my husband along and he loves the flat iron steak but it is the only thing on the menu that he will eat. The selection is limited but all dishes are prepared to perfection. Hence the 4 stars instead of 5. Would love a little more selection for the picky eaters but for myself I loved the steelhead. It was beautiful. I always try something different when we eat here. The charcuterie was wonderful. Something for everyone!
I love Waterfront Wines. It is still as good as it was always. That’s why it remains my favourite restaurant in Kelowna. Eat and drink local at its finest!
Expensive but our waitress was top notch. We had so much fun.
We enjoyed, as always.
Inviting and comfortable. Pate was excellent so was the prawn risotto.
This restaurant was a real find.
Great food, with interesting specials; wonderful and innovative cocktails; and excellent service.
I was lucky enough to go to Burrowing Owl, Quails Gate and Waterfront Wines 3 days in a row. What Waterfront Wines lacks in view, it makes up for with outstanding food, better portion sizes and a cheaper bill compared to the other restaurants in its league.
The service and food were excellent. A Very next nice ambience for having a get together of friends
Excellent food and service ...as always. One of my favorites in Kelowna.
Pork Belly special was fantastic! Great wine selection and fantastic service
Not much I can say except excellent. Our server was attentive, helped us pair our wine with our appies and mains. Halibut was cooked perfectly. Will definitely go back the next time we are in Kelowna.
I thought waterfront did a good job. the only thing I would say is that I had put on open table that this was out anniversary. nothing was done, no big deal but why have that option. so I was expecting something . food was good, service was good.
thank you very much
Very noisy;didn’t like looking at exit door and leaking water and staff mopping floor during my meal
The wine selection and menu options were great for what we were looking for. The braised beef and roasted trout were fantastic. The charcuterie board was a perfect starter!
Outstanding personalized service, very tasty food. Yes, we could have a conversation. 🌈🎶🥂🍾🇨🇦
Great food, but felt it was overpriced. Seating in the booths is slightly uncomfortable
Great food, and great service. Had a fantastic night.
WE really enjoyed the food and the great service. The food presentation was great all items were full of flavour and hot. This was our first time in this restaurant and we will come back. Good location and no problem with parking.
The food was very flavorful and well cooked. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends.
Time and time again the food is always exceptional as is the service.
They had beer and food, both tasted good. Really really good.
