Still my (and my family’s) favourite restaurant in the Okanagan...even after 10 years of dining out in the area! Incredibly and consistently delicious, attentive and cheerful service and a cozy, relaxed vibe. Can’t wait for our next reso!
We were celebrating my wife’s birthday on a very snowy night. The service was outstanding with great recommendations on food and wine. Food was elegant, unique and delicious. From the charcuterie through to dessert. Excellent wine list. Pricey but loved every bit of it!
I really wanted to like this place a bit more. Smaller places are easier to manage and are just more fun to cook at, you can really work your passion into your week and learn. In looking at the food on ours (and others) tables, I didn’t see that passion so much? The dessert menu is fantastic and the dishes we saw looked great. Kitchen team is talented but the food was a bit too inside the box for me at that price. I heard grumblings about the menu needing a change, but it was new for us. Color me undecided?
Was unitially disappointed in the menu offering mostly red meat options. There were only two other choices for non red meat eaters. However, our server did check on, and offer a third option (fish) which was delicious.
We did feel the wines ‘by the Glass’ were a little high priced.
Outstanding as always. Very flavourful, high quality food. Great cocktails. Okanagan/Similkameen wine list. Attentive and friendly service. A favourite.
The duck and the beef bavetter were delicious. I'm definitely coming back.
The food-definitely outstanding, albeit portions are on the small size. Price is typical for this quality of food. We spent $170 between 2 people, it would have been nice to have been given more respect by someone other than the water server.
A canned presentation by our server. And calling absolutely everyone "Lovlies", ummm no. Obviously, not into her job nor interested in the actual people paying her wage. She was perhaps having a bad day. Fair enough but when she noticed the mere 10% tip I left her, I saw a look of disdain cross her face as she left our table and didnt even bring our coats back to us! I had to ask the water server to fetch them.
Unfortunately a first and LAST time to spend our monthly date night at Waterfront Wines. Sayonara.
The best place to eat in Kelowna! The food is seasonal, local and prepared with an artist touch. The best part is the wine list, there are standards that everyone likes but there are also eccentric surprises! I have been enjoying this restaurant for over a decade and the staff has consistently been excellent. Great leadership and the rest follows! Thanks
Good food and service......noise level was too much for our liking ...prefer quieter, more intimate atmosphere when paying top price
Absolutely incredible and creative food!
Service second to none.
Upscale casual to dressy attire - it all works.
Excellent food and service.
Waterfront is one of our favorite restaurants, Kelowna or wherever. Always an enjoyable experience, with character.
Always a stellar experience.
Dine around menu was excellent.
I have never had a bad meal at Waterfront and I'm already looking for an excuse to go back. It is always fresh, always surprising, never too much or too little. Chef Mark is only getting better and his Sous must be the real-deal too. Thanks for a great night.
