Waterfront is a small 50 seat Restaurant and Wine Bar. We have just begun our eleventh year of business and have established a strong following for the creations of Chef and Sommelier Mark Filatow. Chef Filatow exudes a passion for his art that is brought to new heights through marriages with the exclusive selections found on our wine list.
Our menu specializes in a mixture of Tapas-style items and Main Courses, with the focus on offering our guests as wide a variety of flavors as possible.

Recently moved to town from TO and was recommended Waterfront by a friend. Was definitely not disappointed! Delicious cocktails, impressive wine list, fantastic food. Our server was very charming, and definitely knew his stuff! (Shane I wanna say?). My one and only note would be that I prefer my oysters served on a bed of ice, instead of coarse salt. I did find them to be a bit on the warm side, but they were tasty all the same. Will absolutely be returning.
Always a pleasure to dine where the service and food are both superb
Thanks to Shane
Food was excellent for the most part but both my wife and I got the rib eye special and it was very undercooked. My wife sent hers back to be cooked more and they re cooked her same piece of meat and brought it back very tough and still not the way she asked for. At the end she never even ate 5 bites and we ended up paying full price
Never disappoints. We only get here once a year because we live in Langley but it is far and away our favourite restaurant in B.C. the Apple hand pie dessert was out of this world. The best!
Food was absolutely fantastic! We also had great service! It was the best meal we’ve ever had in Kelowna!
Excellent food. Followed covid guidelines. Will go back.
Delicious appetizer and dessert. But the halibut did not taste fresh. The preparation was excellent but the actual piece of fish (both my wife and I had it) tasted like we were eating frozen not fresh fish.
We love coming to Waterfront Wines. Always a great experience, consistently fantastic food, the Covid-19 restrictions for alcohol service after 10 really really sucks!!!!! After an amazing meal, you want to finish up with an after dinner drink and an expresso .... that didn't happen for us this time. Other than that, we certainly recommend this place to anyone that will listen ......
This was my third time at the restaurant and both times before the food was exceptional. The food was not even close to comparable to the previous times. There was so flavours to make it exceptional, very pedestrian . It was my sisters birthday and her first time so disappointed. The service was great though.
Our favorite Kelowna restaurant: can't beat the food, the prices and the service.
Seafood dishes were all fresh and excellent! Plus, great substitutions for allergies.
Thank you so much for such a lovely evening!!!! Everything was perfect.
Excellent food and service. We have always had a wonderful meal whenever we eat here.
Service was great and food was just wonderful. Portions were very generous.
The halibut was prepared deliciously alongside the best scallops I’ve had in a long time! Kudos to the chef!
The meals were outstanding and the service was excellent although rushed. We sat outside on metal chairs around metal tables. Nothing fancy here or dressed. 1/2 the staff wore masks while the rest wore plastic shields. Why do people think those are effective? Social distancing was clearly a challenge. Still, I’d go back if I didn’t want wine with my meal. I’ve never been accused of being frugal but the markup on the wines was just ridiculously high with the median price for a bottle exceeding $100.
Excellent food and service. Best restaurant in the Okanagan.
We had a great dinner with friends on our 30th wedding anniversary. The food was excellent and our server was lovely.
The food we had was excellent. I believe anything you choose would be of a very high standard. Surroundings lacked atmosphere.
It was a nice quiet place. A short menu but everything was really good.
Wonderful service and exceptional food.
Everything was amazing about the restaurant. Except for the couple in the corner that had a big fight/argument. Almost thought they were gonna asked to leave. People deal with your drama at home not in a nice restaurant.
Our food was outstanding. The service staff and kitchen really rolled out the red carpet. Delicious flavors and a top notch dining experience.
The food was good and well made we enjoyed all the dishes we had and shared. We each ordered a Caesar which was terrible so do not recmd. We could not even finish them. The service was odd. We were in a dark corner with no light over our table, i thought We were going to have to be “those people” and use our phone flashlights . Ha. The server was not very attentive. A table of 6 men was seated and she pretty much disappeared from service to attend them over us.We listened to her tell them all the specials and go over the menu with them. We had to call her over and ask questions about the menu ourselves, were never told about any specials. Empty glasses and dirty dishes were left on our table and basically she hardly came to our table. Not what i expect for “fine” dining. Wouldn’t go again. Disappointing as we were excited to eat here !
Shar took amazing care of us, her knowledge of wine and beautiful personality made this a most enjoyable evening.
One of our favourite restaurants in the Okanagan. Food never disappoints and the wine list is exceptional. Have never had a bad experience here. This restaurant would be my number one recommendation to anyone visiting the Okanagan.
One of the best experience and food in Kelowna! Beautiful dishes well balanced and amazing wines! Not a single dish was not spot on! Unbelievable service by Shane! Highly recommend
Food was great, excellent taste and serving size
By far the best restaurant in Kelowna.
Fun patio, delicious eats and the service was great!
The food and service, friendliness and overall ambience make this restaurant one of my top choices in Kelowna.
Unfortunately, the halibut was under seasoned and the accompaniments were over seasoned. I would recommend the trout over the halibut. Also the scallops were slightly overcooked. The chardonnay by the glass was a beautiful wine that was thoroughly enjoyed.
Went to the waterfront wines yesterday and I was so delighted at the level of service. The charcuterie platter was amazing. We ordered the halibut with scallop prawn and gnocchi. I got the side of spicy miso. The food was amazing and fresh and tasty.
I also got a chicken liver patte to go because it came with the charcuterie board and it was so silky smooth and yummy. I recommend this place and I will be back when next I visit Kelowna. The service was impeccable and great recommendations.
Keep up the good work.
Great service, great food.
Very nice restaurant highly recommended
Great experience! It was our first time dining there and we will definitely be going back soon.
We had a wonderful dinner and the service was fun and vibrant!
The food and service were incredible. We would have liked the option for a wine pairing. Excellent, unique dishes left us very full and happy! Would recommend.
Lovely meal as usual. Careful with "covid" precautions . Patio is perfect.
Food was great, seating not so much. We had to sit by the toilet in the corner. Eventually after we asked 3 times to relocate us we got a table outside. Prices for the food don’t match the atmosphere in the restaurant in my opinion.
