We had 4 people in our party and we Loved this restaurant.
For s seafood steak restaurant all our meals were cooked exactly as requested. Sides were awesome! And price was very reasonable. 5 stars for us.
We were greeted. Table was beautiful right by the window.
Our server was new to us...we have dined here many times before. We found her to be over bearing with her suggestions. My husband was going to order a dish and she told him she can't let him do that. She suggested another dish instead and told him her choice would be much better. He was a little upset.
Came in for 5:00 reservation on open table. Staff had no info from opentable. Now as pristine as in past. Marriott showing wear of the large occupancy and traffic.
It is deceiving wit the address of the restaurant as it is located inside the Marriott Resort. Service was poor however meal was good.
Kat was great in service, the food was also a great value
This was a special occasion and very dissapointed with experience. Wanted a quiet romantic table. We did get seated by a window but next to the bar that was very noisy overooking the bread machine. We did get offered to sit outside but the hostess told us the the tide is coming in and it smells like fish outside. The biggest dissapointment was the service. They were short staffed, and we sat 25 minutes before getting drinks. I realize this was not their fault, just sad it happened. Could they haved called out another server. On the positive side the food was great! This was the first time , i have wrote a negative review. This should not have happened in a exclusive pricey restaurant!
Great date night spot - delicious food, amazing view, and good service.
Great food & service .... exceptional view. We ate outdoors which was very quiet and peaceful.
Wonderful birthday celebration.
Great food, wine and service!
A very disappointing experience. My husband and I took our son for his birthday dinner. Each of us ordered steak, my medium rare steak wasn't even pink. My son's medium steak was so over done you couldn't even chew it. The asparagus was soggy, the bread was stale. The food was so bad it was almost hard to belive. We debated sending it back but it took over an hour to get our meal and we also didn't want to make a big deal on our son's special day. Sincerely a steak at Outback...heck even Applebees would have tasted better. The only redeeming take away is the beautiful view.
Best food in sand key! Service is exceptional. We make it an annual event during our March vacation.
Service was good but it seemed that they wanted to rush you through your meal
Laura our server was absolutely amazing. Thank you to her for making our trip!
Started off well but as we were seated close to the bar it became very noisy. Food was pretty good but due to an issue in the kitchen with my meal we had to wait quite a while for our entrees. The chef did send out two large shrimps to compensate. When we did get our entrees my steak was very good. It was served however with the sauce on the steak. I had ordered it on the side as it included black olives and I do not like olives. The waited who agreed he had made a mistake suggested I scrape it off. My wife had the grouper and she decided it was reasonable, but she had had better in other local restaurants.
The price for the two of us with a bottle of wine and plus tip was >$160 .
Fabulous! We were seated outside during perfect February weather (about 70 degrees at 8 pm), with just one other table occupied. It was pleasant and quiet. This was our second visit (once in March, 2017).
My wife ordered the seafood combo (shrimp, scallops, crab cake and grouper. I had the crab cake/sirloin combo. We thought salads were included but they were not. However, Dave, our terrific server offered side salads (not on the menu) which he threw together himself. Perfect!
All of the food was outstanding. The scallops got the highest praise from my wife who savored every bite. The grouper was not so good - not tender and hard to chew. Dave immediately took that off our tab - no discussion.
In short, the food was great (not the grouper), and our server was terrific. The ambiance was excellent. We noted, on the way out, how noisy the inside part of the restaurant was. So glad we sat outdoors.
Give this place a try. You won't regret it. And special thanks to Dave!
Sea Bass was way over cooked, they were nice enough to take off the bill
rest was great
Jennifer is our favorite! She stopped by to wish us well.
steak was good but no flavor and expensive, sides are ala carte . the ceasar salad was delicious and the bread which we usually don eat was very tasty
We thoroughly enjoyed the view, food, service. We ate outside on the deck. It was perfect except the piped in music was a bit loud & a bit to jazzy for a quiet dining experience. this is the 2nd time we frequented the restaurant while visiting FL, both to celebrate a special occasion. Seafood Choice Platter (Crab cakes, shrimp, grouper) & steak are excellent. Highly recommended.
My husband and I like to dine here often. They have real good food and the tables have a view of the water. It’s a really nice atmosphere and the staff are friendly. We’ve been going there for probably a year now. We enjoy their sauce for their steaks and they started serving sushi on Sundays (I’m not sure what other nights they serve it but I know it’s not every night) so we get that for an appetizer. I like their house salad. They are pricey but we feel it is worth the price.
Our server, 'Eva', was fabulous. So happy we decided to try this place. We will be back again!!
The bus boy Muro he is the best. Very respectful & always smiling. Excellent thanks to him our night was good. Thank you Muro.
Although we made the Open Table reservation and the restaurant was far from full, we had to wait while the hostess got our table ready. Then we weren't even seated by the window as requested. Lamb shank, new item on menu, fell off the bone while the accompanying cheddar polenta was one of the creamiest we've ever had...very good. Pork chop portion so huge could only eat half. Not too thrilled with the pretzel topping. Side of creamer sweet potato very interesting as it came in fried chunks. Meals so filling no room for dessert.
Ordered drinks and appetizers. Drink came, appetizers served. Finished appetizers, THEN ordered our meal, a 12oz. Filet and a Porterhouse. Both ordered to be cooked "medium well." Received Filet very RARE, Porterhouse was closer to MEDIUM RARE. Sent filet back, came back still quite rare on a searing hot plate so I butterflies it and put rare side on plate to finish cooking it myself. At $40+ per steak= Unacceptable.
Credit card machine was "broken" and server had to run card at hotel counter. Received card back without receipt, had to go find server for hand entered reciept.
Had the filet steak . My husband had the strip steak. Steak was tender but if not for the topping neither had a taste.
Loved it! Cheese board is our favorite.
The sirloin was the best I've ever had. Cooked perfectly. I would also recommend the lobster ravioli.
My husband and I enjoy Watercolour Restaurant. The food is always well prepared and we really like their sauce that they have for their steaks. The staff is friendly and I love the view of the water from any table that we’ve sit at.
Service with Anthony was great, very attentive. I had the filet & lobster, my lobster should have been cooked more. My granddaughter had carrot cake mini for dessert we found a hair in it. Anthony was very apologetic & didn’t charge us for her dessert.
New Year’s Eve
Food was good but there was absolutely no seasoning on the steak or broccoli. There was a garlic and oil topping for the steak but it was way too strong of a taste.
Located within the Marriott hotel on Sand Key, it was a delightful surprise to have such a lovely meal. I had swordfish, and a filet for my husband, both prepared perfectly.
Amazing food, great service and very nice ambiance.
We live in Belleair and have recently made Watercolours one of our favorite restaurants.
We like to bring our guests there and are treated very well starting with the valet to the hostess to the waitress. The ambience is wonderful as is the food. We highly recommend this restaurant.
My husband and I enjoy dining at Watercolour. The service is good, their staff are friendly and they have good food.
The food is bad for $48 buffet, steak was cold, the plates are dirty, choice is poor and low quality food. When went to get desert it was already removed because the restaurant was closing and no one even notified us. Bottom line is don’t go there for stake or any other food. There are plenty of restaurants available for less money and much better food.
