After reading some negative reviews we are happy to report that we had a great evening, dinner, drinks and service.
Also really enjoyed the music. Every Friday the Sebastian Project Band plays there. Worth checking out.
I oedered a Vieux Carre cocktail. The first one, they messes it up by putting a lot of ice It. The second one was perfect with one very small ice cube. Julie our waitress was great and made the evening enjoyable.
Consistently good food and service. Very limited menu and wine choices are very poor.
Pricey for what you get
But we enjoyed everything and had a great time. Service was incredible.
The view was great and the food was delicious.
Absolutely fantastic food and service. I was so impressed! We even saw dolphins.
We have been dining here for over 6 years and always happy. The food is good, nice steaks and fresh seafood. The wine list is very small. Excellent service!
Great staff, very personable and helpful in meal decision making. Dinner and apps were superb!
Very underrated restaurant, great steaks and the service was outstanding I would highly recommend coming over here. Beautiful view of the intercoastal waterway, has a lively bar and energetics setting on Saturday night with live music
We celebrated our anniversary by having dinner at Watercolour Grillhouse on a Tuesday evening. From the start, our experience was excellent and without issue. The staff we interacted with was very polite, courteous, and knowledgeable. Our dinner (Steak Filet dish and Grouper dish) were reasonably priced and cooked as requested. We would definitely recommend Watercolour Grillhouse and go back for dinner again. Thanks for a great evening of food and drinks.
Always pleased with service and food. Excellent date night with wife.
We ate here a couple weeks ago and we’re comfortable because the staff masked and had good covid practices but yesterday all that had been abandoned. It was so loud we couldn’t talk. Food was still good but the experience wasn’t worth the cost this time.
It took an hour for the entrees to arrive, which put a damper on the anniversary dinner. Scott was a terrific waiter, regardless.
Weirdly, a lot of giant horse flies. At least 5 on the window we sat by. Food was good but maybe not priced accordingly. Environment, other than the flies, was good.
The good was very good, great service, chilled atmosphere. And to top it off we had a nice view.
The restaurant appears to be a favorite for locals as the bar area was quite busy with locals. There was live music but it was loud - too loud for the dining room. The bar and dining area were open. The food was excellent. My husband’s filet was delicious and spot on at medium rare. My Chilean sea bass was excellent too. The bread pudding - which they gave us complimentary for our anniversary - was amazing! It is made with Krispy Creme donuts! Our server, Scott, was excellent - his recommendations were accurate 100% and he was attentive without being annoying. We will return - definitely a pleasant surprise for a hotel restaurant.
The hostess did not give us the table we wanted. However, no one used the table the entire time we sat at our table. Our table was closer to the bar and was noisy. When I reserved our table, I noted that I preferred next to the window and away from the bar. She would not give us the table we wanted because she said the table was reserved although no one used it the entire time we were at our table. The food is good but overpriced. Our service was excellent.
It was nice
Excellent restaurant with great food and service……much, much more than I expected from a hotel venue!!
We sat outside by the water and taking in the view as we started with the rye loaf and garlic butter and thoroughly enjoyed it all. We both had the sea bass grilled with the piccata preparation. It was amazing.
Excellent food. We had some mussels and I think they were the best I have ever eaten.
Food was pretty good, but it definitely looks and feels like a hotel restaurant (which we didn't notice when booking).
We requested to sit outside, so this is a little bit on us. There wasn't a problem until our main dinners arrived and flies came out of nowhere to attack us. Again, it's not the restaurant's problem - although a bug zapper might help. Food and service were excellent.
Great service - great view - great food
Atmosphere was the reason we came here to meet some friends for dinner, lovely place. Service was poor, we had to keep looking for the waitress for drink refills and other things. Menu was good but ck it before you go.
Absolutely amazing dinner. Lovely view. Amazing service by Jess and the food was great!!
Food was very good rick bartender was awesome. We went for anniversary and had a great time
Very nice restaurant. We were celebrating a special birthday on a girl's trip. I only gave 4 stars for value because the entrees should come with a side salad or side. Great service!!
We had a reservation for outdoor dining. A large party was expected to leave 30 minutes prior to our reservation but this didn't happen. We ended up being seated about 20 minutes late. However, the host offered us a free round of drinks, which we accepted.
In the bar, a band was playing live music which was quite good -- but so loud we couldn't even enter the bar area. Note to band: you are pretty good, but 3X louder than you need to be in such a small space.
After being seated outside, everything was fine aside from the long wait for our meals. We were not served until after 9:15 pm. It took an inordinate amount of time for our dinner to arrive.
The side of asparagus was large enough for 4 people to share.
As a note, the peanut butter pie is not too be missed.
A bit pricey especially when considering the service experience.
Great view. Great service. Great food.
Loved watching the pelicans on the water. Service was great. Food was impressive. The scallops were perfect.
The food and drinks were amazing
We hadn't been back to Watercolors for a long time, but decided to give it another try.
The last trips meal was horrible, sent them a complaint, and never heard had any response. So glad it can, again, be a go to restaurant!
Awesome quality food. Great service
The experience was ok. I recommend dining outside, not inside- it looks like better ambiance and experience
Our experience was amazing; we were sitting outside and the sun was setting. The food was very flavorful and delicious; we shared the crab cake, roasted cauliflower, grill house salad, and the lobster mac and cheese; we did not regret anything! This is definitely a place we will visit again.
Amazing food and service in an absolutely perfect setting. Couldn’t have asked for more!
Great choice selection! Will definitely recommend to visitors
Very disappointed, poor service. Definitely not the top quality restraunt we remember.
Wonderful and relaxing meal on the inter coastal. Do yourself a favor and order the crab cake. The sizzling filet mignon was cooked perfectly to my request. The dessert options were delectable.
