Overall, a good experience. Got the porterhouse, which while very good, was not quite as good as some I've had at other steakhouses for the same price (think Benjamin's Steakhouse etc.). Side dishes were delicious, service was on point.
Really nice place with very friendly, welcoming service and good food.
Wonderful food and service at Washington Prime! Loved that they gave us a semi-private room for my party of 8. Service was warm and welcoming, and they accommodated our requests without hesitation.
The food exceeded my expectations as did the service. It was a bit noisy but it's meant to he a trendy place.
Five for dinner and 2 meals were great (scallops) and all 3 filet mignons had to go back - one was rare instead of medium, 2 were burnt on outside. Sides were great. Our busboy gave more attention than our waiter. The bathrooms didn’t have a holder for the toilet paper. I spoke with the manager and he took off one of the steaks from the bill and said he would buy a toilet paper stand the next day. 3 of 5 of us said we would not go back. Hubby and I said we would try to again.
We were there for a birthday lunch. Four adults and a baby. Scotty and the whole staff made sure that everything went perfectly so that everyone, including the baby, had a lovely time. We took our time over drinks and each course and no one rushed us.
Wonderful staff, delicious food, great drinks, pleasant ambiance- can’t ask for more!
Food, service and ambiance were all good. Short ribs were especially enjoyable. Noise level was moderate but got a little loud in the front. We were able to have a nice conversation with a friendly couple at the next table. Our waiter was very attentive and filled our water glasses four times. He was very polite and extremely accommodating.
Have been wanting to go here for some time, finally broke with tradition from our favorited restaurant for our anniversary and went. OMG so glad we did. Service is great, very friendly and professional. The menu some really great suggestions. I had Duck and wife had Scallops highly recommend both. Don't wait to give this place a try.
We went to Washroom Prime to celebrate my son’s birthday. He loves steak houses (we have been to several throughout NYC) so we thought we would try something new. We had such an amazing dinner. The meal was absolutely delicious! The service was superb and the manager Scotty was so friendly and personable we felt like family! My son is still saying “that porterhouse was the best steak ever!” Thank you for making his bday so special! Highly recommend!! We will be back!
Great anniversary dinner! First time here, loved our entire meal. Lobster toast was sublime...ahi tuna entree and pork tenderloin put hubby and me in the clean plate club. Tuxedo dessert to share was the perfect ending.
Service was excellent, hostess wishing us happy anniversary when she seated us in perfect table by the window was a lovely touch. We’ll be back!
Not our first time, and not our last either. The service was really good this visit; I loved the apps (had the roots & honey) but the steak was just okay. My husband and I decided to split a Tomahawk -- it was pretty fatty. They also so put a dab of some green sauce on the steak, which I think ruined the flavor of the meat. I sometimes forget to ask for NO sauces, so maybe that was on me, but I really did not like it at all. Side of baked potato was really good, and the side of cauliflower was tasty. All in all, meal was good, and we will go back--but probably not ordering the Tomahawk.
Great surprise for a trendy downtown. Deserves a 10 out of 5 rating on all points!
a 7 pm reservation,"just a few minutes, there ar people with checks." Looking aroung we saw people with menues. at 7:45 we sat at the bar for a drink. The bartender set our places and gave us menues. we ordered drinks and looked a the menue. At 8:00 Scott, the matre de came and said our table would be a few more minutes but we could order appetizers on the house. Which we did. When our appetizers came, Scott returned and advised us that there would be a table in a few minutes. we thanked him and had our dinner at the bar. The bartenders were very nice and extremely attentive.
Just a suggestion - the hostess should give a more accurate time frame when saying just a few minutes. I would have left if i knew how long it would take. Another suggestion - don't take reservations if you can't honor them.
My Filet Mignon was very tender, juicy and flavorful. Everyone there was friendly and the service was excellent!
A modestly capable ala carte Sunday brunch. Nothing spectacular. Nothing awful. Everyone left feeling "fed". Admittedly, that's a low bar to clear ...
We booked a high-top seat but a regular table was available. It was very nice seating. The wait staff was very friendly and professional. The food was very good but a bit on the expensive side.
Incredible steak and great service! I took clients out for dinner and had to go back the next day for lunch.
We live near Washington Prime but reserve dining there for special occasions only because it is on the more expensive end. The two meals I've had here have both been delicious. The burger is amazing and I most recently tried their Ahi Tuna. I think that was the best ahi tuna I've ever eaten. Sides are delicious and the wine list is great as well!
Great food and good service. Washington Prime is always a good choice!
We always have an amazing time!
I’ve been a frequent visitor at the SoNo location and have always enjoyed the food so much! So surprised to have such rude service this time around. Our meal was dropped off by a food runner, which is fine, but our waiter never once came back to our table to ask how our meal was. Neither did anyone else. A side dish and beverage that were ordered were never brought out. Our waiter walked by ONCE, and as he passed us he grabbed an empty plate from the table...but SAID NOTHING TO US.
Finally I had to ask a busser to please bring our check.
Extremely disappointed. Noisy dining room, poor decor, tired, dark, rundown ambience.
Food is not great. Probably ok for a hamburger or pub food. Expensive. Very disappointing experience.
Great place all around. Food was excellent. They had a pike on special which you don’t see too often. Fantastic. Steaks are great. Brazilian lobster tail yes...And their drinks are always on point. Rich, Amanda, Jenny and the entire crew are as hospitable as can be. Highly recommend!!
Will definitely be back! Loved the food and had a great time. Server was very nice and helpful with ordering.
Great Steak. Really well seasoned and cooked.
Son’s 17th birthday!
We have been to Washington Prime once before and very much enjoyed it. We came back for a celebration and had a fantastic meal top to bottom, the service was EXCELLENT. From the moment we walked in, to the wait staff that was continuously attentive to the moment we left we felt very much taken care of. The food was delicious. Meat well seasoned, with a wonderful cook. Our shared plates and sides followed suit with strong and flavorful execution. We walked in and were offered a seat in the already bustling main room, or the ability to start off the more private back room where we'd be the only table. We chose the later. It was lovely. We were having an early bird weekend dinner and the room was ours the entire time. It was an all around excellent dining experience .
I had the dried age strip steak and my wife had the 8oz filet. Both were cooked to order and were delicious. Our server was outstanding, very professional yet relaxed and provided for a pleasant atmosphere.
I don’t give it 5 stars as the main dishes were served well over 1 hr from the time we received the appetizers.
We will come back!
The food was really good but the dinner did not arrive for 45 minutes after appetizers. I wouldn’t mind that because we were talking and having a good time however, because the staff knew the food was super delayed, they avoided our table like the plague... never asking if we needed any drinks or even offering a drink. I finally had to get up and go get a waiter and explain we were ok with the delay but the staff actually had to ask if we needed drinks.... no water or cocktails in sight. It as wait staff amateur hour.
Very slow service for a week night and few diners. My husbands starter came out after I had finished mine. I asked for my Salmon to be pink inside it was over done. It took forever to get any thing from our server yet they had servers just standing around.
Very expensive too for what you got. We will not be back!
Service was fantastic ! While not inexpensive, the food was very good. It is a very nice place to dine.
Delicious food. Fast, attentive and friendly service by all.
Went for dinner on Fathers Day and the restaurant was busy. It took over an hour to get our food but the server and manager handled it well and the owner even called us after to apologize. Overall a first-class place I would return to
Overall a good experience. The food was excellent and the service by the bus boys and assistant waiters was on par. The wait staff however barely came by to check on us, our food or our experience. The young man who served us water, who was a waiter in training was more attentive than our waiter.
The brunch used to be epic. Gorgeous, fresh, hot food. Now it is mediocre at best. The “eggs Benedict” were made with lobster, which is great if you like lobster. I do like it so I got one. It was tepid, the hollendaise sauce was actually congealed and not even warm. We were warned that cutting into the sausage would result in being sprayed by oil as the had cooked them too long. They had some cinnamon rolls cut into quarters along with cream puffs for dessert. I could go on and on about how disappointing it was. The fruit and the cocktails were fantastic, so there’s that. Definitely not worth $50 a head.
We had a delicious Father’s Day brunch this past weekend at Washington Prime. We really enjoyed everything and found the service to be excellent.
Love to dine at Washington prime for special occasions. Always recommend sono location to friends and family.
We went to this restaurant expecting the brunch menu we saw online when we booked our reservation last week. When we arrived we were told they changed their menu to a brunch buffet which cost 34.95 per person. Since we were a party of 8 it was too difficult to leave and find a table at another restaurant. Although most of the food was good it was quite pricey and not what we had wanted. I don't understand why they did not call to inform us of the change in their menu.
The grilled bacon is decadent and the deviled eggs are great. Carne Asada was surprisingly good but the Moscow Mule tasted a bit watered down. Service was very friendly and attentive.
