Always living up to the standard of one of the best in the United States everytime
Good food. Good service but wish that the bartender is a little flexible; He couldn't give me a better martini. I wanted a sweet martini vs just plain.
We had a wonderful meal with incredible service. The team was very accommodating to all of our requests. One of best steaks in the Tri-state region!
So...the food as always was wonderful. My husband and I particularly love the oyster apps. We invited friends this past Friday, they were excited based on our description. It was a total fail! Our waiter was not up to par for a restaurant charging those prices. We ordered a bottle of red for the table, he brought it, HOT! He said all the wine was the same temperature and walked away. We called the manager and asked for the wine to be put on ice - you ask why? Because they had lost the key to the wine closet and didn't have any other bottle to offer. Speaking of offering, the waiter took the wine to cool and disappeared for 15 minutes - no offer for a comp drink or any drink at all. Two of us received our meal about 5 minutes before the other two. And last but not least, he forgot to place the order for one of the desserts. The manager did buy our dessert. Totally disappointed......
Birthday was exceptional here
We were promptly seated despite arriving early. Our order was taken quickly and efficiently and the waitress was patient with our lengthy wine selection.
Service was excellent. Food, for the price, was average at best. There are better Steak houses in the area.
lump crab meat cocktail was too chilled, (right out of the fridge), the medium rare steak was cold and under-cooked in the center although the beef itself was good, wife's filet was under-sized, etc. It was a shame as ambiance, the room itself and the service were all of value. The kitchen needs to improve.
I’ve been to Washington Prime a few times with my boyfriend. In previous experiences we’ve had better food
The four of us split a porterhouse and tomahawk steak. Excellent preparation.
Everyone agreed best steaks we have had in a long time. Going back soon
Washington Prime is the quintessential steakhouse for any occasion! We were greeted by Richard Nistico who brought us to an extremely comfortable booth and continued to check on us throughout the evening to ensure that everything was exceeding our expectations. The steaks, sides, drinks and desserts were all phenomenal. The service was top notch. Highly recommended. We’ve been there a few times before and will most certainly return!
Nice place to grab lunch with friends in South Norwalk, no complaints.
Keep coming back
Great in every way.
Jennifer was our waitress, she was fantastic. She knew her stuff. From the food to the wines and desserts.
She was funny, sarcastic and just the best.
My friends and I loved everything about the restaurant. We used Togo to throne in Georgetown. We were so pleased to find this one. We will be back.
Wow - we expected it to be expensive BUT a $48 steak had better be amazing.... and our steaks were forgettable. The sides, wine and service were good. However, no plan to go back.
This was our wedding anniversary, I’ve noted that in my reservation. The note was ignored first of all completely. The waiter couldn’t take my drink order right coming back 3 times to take my order and still bringing me something I didn’t order. He switched with another waiter shortly after that. Reservation was at 9:15 pm and everything from service to food felt rushed, as if they couldn’t get us out of there fast enough.I chose this restaurant because I expected certain level of service and food quality, neither of which was delivered. I will not be returning nor can I recommend this restaurant based on my experience. This was not how I was hoping to end our otherwise special day.
We were very turned off after being approached by street beggars asking for money
I gave them my steak. Wish it was a safer invocation
This is my second time going to Prime and I loved it. From walking into the door to our waitress. The food was great. Its definitely one of the hotspots in SoNo. We shared the Burrata + beets salad. I had the passion fruit margarita and we both had the filet mignon as our entree. And for dessert, the key lime pie. Delicious!!!!!!!
Barely better than Fast food quality food at pricey, pretty venue. But for the salmon main dish portions were small and oversalted.
Pretty good spot overall. I think the praise for their steaks is a bit overrated. Atmosphere could feel more like a classic steakhouse
Washington Prime is always on point for us. This go-round it was a bit slow (service for food and drink) and quieter than normal. The steak, which is always spot on, was also overdone, but they fired up another one for us and it was taken care of. Not the usual A+ we're used to, but we'll be back!
Great location with easy parking in lot across street of on street
Maitre D’ came to table to introduce himself
Waiters were totally on top of their game..friendly, watchful but never over bearing ..5 starts for them for sure
Will definitely come back
The food was very good and the service was better than expected but our waiter made the evening great by surprising my daughter with a “small” candle in her dessert that turned out to be a giant firecracker. Very funny.
Great food. It just way too long. Our service was impeccable. Did I mention it took forever...
By far one of the best restaurants in CT. Second time there...lobster is a bomb, steak super tender and tasty...bacon strip the best I’ve ever had...strongly recommend it!
We came for Father’s Day brunch. When I made the reservation they did not have a special brunch menu available so I was thinking it would be the menu. Before we left I checked the website and saw they had a special buffet which was no big deal I thought we could try it.
After our experience today I would never come back for the brunch. It was 50 bucks for buffet and one Bloody Mary or mimosa. Not worth the money at all. The buffet was nothing special and the buffet pans were so high I could barley see what was in them. The website said omelette station I didn’t see any station. It said salad bar and there was one salad. There were no waffles, danish or pastries, as advertised on the website. The dessert station had a bunch of mini desserts with no utensils so my fingers were sticky from picking them up.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was great and service was good as well.
I will return for happy hour or pretty much any event other than the brunch since I have heard good things about the restaurant and want to give it another try.
Also a heads up it says paved lot on this app for parking but the lot is very small so we had to park in a garage. Street parking is available but is limited.
What a fabulous meal!!! Loved everything about this meal.
Good happy hour!
A love!y restaurant near the water, with great food, friendly staff and nice ambiance.. Would definitely go back next time in town....
Great food, good service, much too noisy!
Had a family brunch out for my wife's birthday. Food was delicious though first plate to last took a few minutes. Reviews went from good to outstanding.
Fine neighborhood stalwart - consistent and top notch
Delicious food but a bit pricey. Good for a special occasion.
First time. Norwalk favorite. Impressed. Good food, good service and trendy vibe. Had Tuna. Perfectly prepared. Definitely on the list.
We celebrated our daughter’s birthday here, and everyone at the restaurant and everything about the meal was first rate. While it is quite pricey, the quality of the food makes you feel like you haven’t been gouged. My husband and daughter split the porterhouse for two, and neither could remember having a steak like it both in the quality of the meat and the way it was cooked.
Everyone loved their food and our service was superb! Excellent evening meal for dates, business dinners or any special occasion.
Very nice. Will go back in a heartbeat.
It was fabulous!
Also a great time when we visit Washington Prime. Everything is amazing, the risotto is a hidden gem if you like risotto. Great wine list as well!
We decided on an early dinner and discovered Washington Prime’s Happy Hour. It was decidedly fun & delicious to make a dinner by ordering appetizers from the 1/2 price Happy Hour menu along with a salad.
Great place, very friendly and welcoming, and good food / cocktails.
