The crab bisque was the best. Salads were good. My lobster roll was
lousy. The ambiance was wonderful. The bathrooms were clean and
confortable.

The Inn was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our server, Jen, was very welcoming and efficient. I was delighted to see gluten-free options on the menu that were tasty and creative. I wish that one of the soups had been gluten-free--perhaps the chef could consider offering one? Everyone in my party enjoyed their entree. We will return!

Everything was delicious and a great variety on the brunch menu. We never felt rushed, but our server disappeared when we were ready to leave--and we waited about 20 minutes to find her and get the check. We would definitely go back! I would like to try lunch on a Saturday.

What can I say? Everything about this place is first class. It's just a beautiful place I loved every second of my dinner. Service is top notch. Food is terrific. Get going and enjoy a great night. It's nice to go somewhere and see that someone gets it. Perfect.

The Wash Crossing Inn is always beautiful and the atmosphere is upscale. Food was good, service was adequate. Nothing about either stood out and for me, if dinner is going to cost $130 for three drinks, an app, two entrees, and one dessert it needs to pop.

Pretty historical building. Decor and interiors need an update. They could use a good professional floral designer. Old fashioned and outdated china service. Food is okay . . . . .sort of trying too hard and menu does not have continuity. . . . from Dim Sum to Holiday Turkey. Sort of strange. They could use a better planned straight forward gourmet menu. Server was lovely and very on the ball.

Often go there in the summer to dine outdoors, but when the weather gets chilly, indoor dining is a pleasure. Very good menu.

Charming and reasonably priced for a Sunday brunch buffet. Keep in mind that the buffet is somewhat limited especially missing were a salad assortment and more dessert options. The entrees were good, especially the Salmon.

I really enjoy history of the place. Great outdoor patio area, perfectly decorated for fall. For a place like this I expected the service to be a little better. I had to keep asking for refills of my ice tea and considering we were one of only three tables in this area. Other than that a delightful place.

Sunday dinner in the beautiful main dining room where the prime rib was juicy and tender, the martinis very cold and very dry, and the service was very attentive.

We got married at the Inn and go back every year for our anniversary. The menu was very bland with items such as meatloaf, porkchops. Who orders a$ 30.00 meatloaf?

First time to visit. Received gift card for birthday so thought we would try it. Went for the early bird timeslot. The atmosphere is very elegant olden times charm. The food was delicious. It is the perfect place to go for a special celebration which we plan to do. There was chatter in background we assume coming from the bar. Good to hear people frequenting the place as a casual anytime get-together.

My wife, daughter, and I finally went for Sunday brunch after noticing this restaurant years ago when touring adjacent Washington Crossing Park. The hustoric restaurant grounds are quaint with a pretty garden for receptions and an outdoor bar with lots of outdoor patio seating.

Inside, the inn and restaurant was equally quaint and charming. The Sunday brunch buffet was as delicious as it was expansive, and the large buffet tables never felt crowded.

We did have to wait about 20 minutes to get seated, and our server seemed like she'd be more comfortable waiting tables at a diner than at a historic inn. But, we still enjoyed brunch and plan to go again, especially considering the very reasonable $30 price per person.

Service and food were impeccable as usual. They honored our Open Table request to be in a quiet corner so we could enjoy our anniversary. Had an entire area to ourselves for 95% of the meal away from the noisy main population. And OMG - that pumpkin cheesecake?!?! Absurdly delicious.

Normally I love it here but two friends had ordered the Lobster roll sandwich and it was pretty sparse. I was pretty embarrassed about the amount of "lobster" on the roll. I told them to send it back but they were being too polite. I would tell anyone not to order that dish on the "new" menu. I'm sure my friends left feeling hungry.

Our waitress was not very knowledgeable and didn't go out of her way for us. Had a couple questions, she didn't know answer and finally we said is there someone you can ask. Not friendly at all. Just doing her job. Didn't seem to enjoy what she was doing.

I took my daughter for her birthday. I had been to the restaurant several months prior and really enjoyed it. This time my lunch choice wasn't as good as what I had last time. The crab bisque was very heavy, served with a huge amount of melted cheese on top and not enough crab. The turkey club sandwich had a lot of bread but limited amount of turkey and bacon. Service was friendly and excellent. The ambiance is very relaxing and easy to have a conversation.
