Great experience and great food! Would definitely go back again!
We thoroughly enjoyed dining at Washington Crossing Inn last evening to celebrate our dear friends 50th anniversary. The only thing I was disappointed in was that the music "piano player" was outside in the garden/patio. When I made the reservations one of the reasons was that you offered music while dining ~ and I don't remember reading that the music being offered was only outside.
Great atmosphere and food was delicious! Would go back again and again.
Love it here. Beautiful and great food and service.
Great day for outdoor eating and this fit the bill. Our server was excellent, great personality and professionalism. Food was good and fries were even hot. Had a bad experience last time but this was perfect tough a little expensive, especially the deserts which were small.
Beautiful setting outdoors and the food was very good. Our waiter was very friendly but overall service was extremely slow (2 hours for lunch!). They did not appear to be overly busy and it looked as if they had adequate staffing. We weren't in a hurry, so enjoyed being outside, but would have been an issue had we had somewhere to be!
On a perfect June day, Wash. Crx. is the best garden setting for lunch. Our small group relaxed with a crisp white wine, salads, ravioli & Portobello panini. The menu has many choices in a number of categories. Everything was excellent, service was attentive without being intrusive, and we could linger at the table to chat.
We had a delightful and delicious lunch in the garden with friends.
Will definitely return soon.
disappointed in portion size for the prices charged
Wonderful experience. Wait staff was exceptional and food was fantastic! Very elegant and comfortable.
Great setting, ambiance, service, & the food was very good.
Under staffed. Waited forever for everything. It was a shame trying to celebrate a graduation. We thought we could get the afternoon tea but when arrived we were told that we needed to order in advance. That was not clear through the Open Table reservation app.
Very pleasant outdoor atmosphere -- food is good but not outstanding.
Great atmosphere, excellent service and fabulous food. Beautiful area.
Greg was our waiter and he was great — attentive but not overbearing. Food was great- I had salmon and my date had chicken schnitzel. My drink (martini) could have been colder The outdoor dining was super. We will be back
Excellent service, top quality food. It was a busy Friday, with graduation parties aplenty, and yet service hummed!
It was a bit loud but if we had better weather we all would have been outside .
Wonderful, as always!
The patio at Washington Crossing Inn is a wonderful location for lunch or dinner. We had out of town guests and enjoyed our overall experience. Food.........service.....ambiance and atmosphere were terrific. It's convenient and will definitely be there again soon.
Service and ambiance were outstanding. Great experience.
It was a lovely setting outdoors on a day that was warm but with the breeze and the low humidity.
Service was good, our waiter was a bit overwhelmed, he seem to have a lot of tables to take care of. Despite that, he was pleasant and attentive. My only complaint was the Mojito that we ordered from the bar was too sweet and did not seem to have any liquor at all.
I would not water that again but my food was delicious!!
Very limited and traditional menu. Long delay for one of our party to get their meal. Others were cold by the time the last one arrived. Small portions
From the moment we set foot on the property we were met with exceptional courteous and friendly greetings that made us feel very welcomed. The food was outstanding as was the service! Cheers to Patrick for making our experience that much more enjoyable 😀! We will be going back
Soups were served cold.
Steamed shrimp dumplings had little to no shrimp.
Lamb chop appetizers were good
Geo Washington salad was good
Pizza was very good.
Waiter was excellent and fixed problems but it seems the kitchen staff needs work.
crab bisque soup is absolutely the best i've ever eaten! totally awesome! so was the service, atmosphere and location.
Lovely menu with plenty of different apps and meal choices. Well prepared, beautifully presented, delicious. Great first time post-covidinside experience, quiet, well distanced. Would have been a noisier experience outside. Specify in or out on your reservation to be seated where you feel comfortable.
A very nice place to relax and enjoy time with your family. I went with my two grown children after spending some time exploring the park and all the history. We sat outside in the garden and the ambience, service and food were all part of our wonderful day. A must visit
I went to the Inn with a friend, to enjoy a nice lunch in a charming restaurant. Service was impeccable and the food very nice (the lamb chops were wonderful). Prices are too high for what they serve, especially for a lunch menu. I still plan on going back, mostly for the atmosphere and service, but sparingly.
Wonderful restaurant and experience!
Server was really responsive and good personality. Food and drinks were served quickly and delish
The food at WCI has been mediocre for quite some time now. How can a chef bury 4 ridiculously priced scallops and a few vegetables in such a heavy puree? Totally kills the scallops! It’s a shame because the outside grounds are beautiful and the ambiance is great! Service is very good.
It was a wonderful Birthday luncheon with an outside table.
Beautiful outside dining area with bar. Outstanding service and delicious meal.
Great food and server. Ate in the beautiful patio.
1st time we were there. The dining rooms have an old world charm with white tablecloths and candles. The food was outstanding and the service was as well. We are looking forward to eating there again!
We have eaten at WCI many times and usually had a good experience. For some reason they were off on this visit. Menu seemed limited, service was just fair. Tomato and mozzarella salad was very poor. few entrees. Beer offering limited. We will expect better next time.
Great night and dinner to celebrate with no masks!!! Food was great and service was very good! First class all the way!!!
I really liked Washington Crossing Inn in the past. This last visit I felt they just did not care about their customers; it was all just make money.
Still a great place to go overall but food quality was uneven ... some dishes great (fried calamari, lobster ravioli) but some not so good - house salad was greasy and way too sweet, and avocado in the crab cake pico de gallo was old. The kitchen can still do great things but is slipping a bit, hope management is paying attention.
Loved their appetizers and fresh salads!!!
