Wasabi Sushi & Lounge Ratings and Reviews
Date night with the boo and after a little research picked the Wasabi Sushi and Lounge. Had a patient and attentive sever, ordered a bottle of wine and were treated like high end guests (even though we don't necessarily look it). Our server recommended Bluefin Sashimi as they had just received a fresh shipment that day and HOLY COW DELICIOUS. We plan to make this our regular date night location. Wonderful food, wonderful service and an overall wonderful time. A manager even took the time to stop and chat with us which was really cool and appreciated.
I have eaten Sushi and Sashimi all over the world.
I cannot believe that the best Sushi in the world is at Wasbi in Brookfield Wisconsin, that is incredible!!
Below is my Sashimi Dinner in front of the Opera House in Sydney.
As good as it looked, the dinner was still not as good as Wasabi.
The ground fresh Wasabi root is my personal favorite .... perfect on any roll.
We visited Wasabi Sushi Lounge over the lunch hour. We were seated in a nice booth, but then it appeared as though the server forgot we were there even though she was waiting on a table right next to us. We had to inquire at the bar as to when we would be able to order after waiting for 10+ minutes.
The food was OK, thats about it. Should have known it wasnt going to be very good, Very few people on a Friday at 7pm. Menu has too many selections with none of them really anything to cheer about. Drinks, yuck... Sent one of them back and asked for something else, with the reply of we will only remake the same drink, not another selection. Really?? The first one was no good after 1 sip, why would want to suffer through another one? We would not return.
This is a good place for a "once in a blue moon" kind of dinner date. I feel the food was very good and service was great, however, the dinner was extremely expensive. I've found other sushi places in the area that serve equal if not better sushi for way less of a price. Never-the-less, I had a great dinner.
The atmosphere and service were very good, but the sushi rolls were rather disappointing. The sushi rice was hard and dry, and I could not detect any vinegar in it. We went for all-you-can-eat buffet on Christmas Eve, so I don't know if their usual sushi rolls are better.
Decent sushi, not the best I've had but not bad. Wide selection and unique maki rolls, such as served on tortilla chips. I liked that the spicy rolls were actually spicy! Our server was a bit awkward, and he didn't check in with us for a long period of time. Food came pretty quickly, price was expected for sushi.
The sushi was well-prepared and flavorful. Would recommend the Flaming Dragon and Badger Crunch rolls. The gyoza were good, but not special. The sake selection is not extensive, but there is a good variety to suit almost all tastes. Our service was excellent!
