I hate leaving such a negative review because I really use to love Wasabi. But with this last experience, we will not be back for a while. First of all the overall use keep of the place was nasty. My husband said the bathroom was nasty and had a faulty toilet which sprayed out water. Then as we were being seated he had to scoop a chunk of rice out of my seat. Then as we looked at the other station there was an eggshell and a half of lemon on the floor. Then when the cook wheeled his cart out, there was a long strand of black hair on the white sauce bottle. To put the icing on the cake, the hostess sat us next to a large family with 4 kids under the age of 10! I cannot stand being around little kids. So needless to say, our date night was ruined! I felt like we should have been asked if it were okay! The food was great but with all of that foolishness I couldn’t really enjoy it, and we definitely will not be back.

The female manager was rude. She sat us without any pleasantries and made us feel unwanted. The food was good but real conversation from the cook and the waiter was really nice and friendly but charged the incorrect bills to friends credit cards. He switched their orders and credit cards.
This was probably our worst visit to Wasabi's in the past 5 years. We waited a long time to get our food, and an even longer time to get our bill. We got there around 6pm and didn't get out of there until just before 9 pm. Food was ok, but not the best we ever had. Our cook was good, tho.
Wasabi is the best hibachi around! WWe love the bacon and eggs in the rice! Chef Mike is hilarious!
Disappointed due to the fact they didn't acknowledge my reservation. The hostess was missing for almost 15 minutes and when I asked how long. She said Idk what to tell you. Very disappointed. We are repeat customers. We left and went elsewhere.
We made a reservation on open table for 6:45 but still waited owner 1 and a half hours for a table. We were basically told (unapologetically) that our reservation meant nothing and whoever had walked in before us was taken first. Our hibachi chef was clearly over it and made little arrempt to entertain and actually reprimanded one of our party for watching a chef at another grill that was entertaining his customers. Very disappointing!
Excellent service. There was no waiting when all of our party arrived. The chef was funny and very entertaining. Waitress was always hovering to see what we needed. Very clean and comfortable. Party seated at our table of having a birthday and the chef was very attentive. We have been before and enjoyed it. We will be back soon!

I have made reservation through Open Table. I reminded that we are celebrating my daughter's 10th BIRTHDAY and no one remembered. She is very young and it was her request to go to WASABI to celebrate her birthday. Unfortunately, seeing her tears will prevent us from going back. It was quite disappointing.
Wasabi has delicious food. Normally when I dine here there are not any problems but on this particular evening there were plenty. The hostess was rude when I explained to her that I used “open table” for a long reservation. She immediately and rudely explained to me that it was not a reservation but a “call ahead” in the which the website clearly stated that it was a reservation. She also explained that I could not be seated unless all members of the party were present but the others were literally 5 minutes away. I made a “reservation” for 4:45p and was not seated until after 5:15p and the rest of my party arrived no later than 4:55. When we were seated the chef mixed up our orders and did not serve one of my party members any rice, therefore I had to share my own. Then the waitress over charged me for my order and instead of fixing it within the computer, brought me back cash. Maybe next time I should go during the week or earlier during the day on the weekend.
Overall my experience was good, our cook was great and the food was great. However the website makes you believe you have made a reservation when in fact you have not. I had a party of 9 and a reservation for 7:45, we all arrived on time yet still had to wait over an hour for our table. I feel in a restaurant if you have what appears to be a reservation it should be honored or you should not make people believe that they have a reservation. When I arrived I was told there was a 25 minute wait but it turned out to be a much longer wait. I would NOT have waited an hour for a table under any circumstances. I am not sure that I will ever go back, especially not with a large party and I certainly will never make what appears to be a reservation.

Used open table only to arrive and be told they don't actually take reservations. Would not seat us unless all were there, despite our knowing folks were en route. Then promised we would be seated within 20 minutes once all present. It was one hour. Service as then rushed and despite people clearly still eating, someone came in and started taking plates and putting food in to go boxes. It was quite comical.
Did not honor reservations so we left. This is inconsiderate. Should have filled the slots on Open Table. Not make people think this is an option.

Delicious food at a snails pace. Made a reservation on open table and upon arrival, received a nice surprise from the hostess- they don’t honor the open table reservations which are made ON THE WASABI WEBSITE. 40 mins past the reservation time, and we’re finally seated. We were seated with a large party which was split up by a rude little waitress who fought another waitress for 3 people who were part of a large party on the other side of the table- greedy. After our waitress got done arguing, she took 20 mins to get our drinks. We waited another 15 mins and watched the other side of the table get their food, while we waited for our soup. After 20 mins of waiting for soup, we left. Enough. Get it together wasabi and fix you friggin website!
Even after booking through open table and reaching the restaurant on time for our reservation , we had to wait for an hour before we were seated.

After waiting 30 minutes I went to the hostess stand to see why we still hadn’t been seated and was told by the rude little girl working the hostess stand that they didn’t accept reservations and that all we had done by reserving on Open Table was a call ahead for seating.

Great food in an upbeat atmosphere. Wasabi is our go-to place for fun and loads of food.
I was not pleased with the food at all. The service was mediocre and the chef was not entertaining nor was the food good. I ordered the sumarai. The shrimp was salty and tough from being over cooked. I ordered my filet medium and it was well done and salty. I had to ask him to be lite on the salt and soy sauce. I told him not to even give me the chicken. (Yes, our food was cooked one at a time. All items were not on my plate at the same time.)As this was my children's first experience, he was not entertaining. I will probably not go back. It's unfortunate because I remember always having a good meal here.
I booked a reservation 2 weeks and advance on Open Table's website for 6:30 pm. We arrived at the restaurant on time and checked in. We were told we would be seated as soon as possible. My group had been seated and gave up those seats in anticipation of being taken to our table. After a 20-minute wait and two very large parties of 16 to 18 people being sat, we inquired what was our wait time because we had reservations. We were at this time informed that they do not take reservations from OpenTable. They stated that they do not guarantee seating and we needed to continue to wait to be seated because the wait time was at an hour. We asked for manager, and then the owner, neither were helpful in resolving the issue... Both continued to say they don't take reservations.. If this is so, they should remove the restaurant from the website...

Reservations for 4:15. Sat down at 5. “Chef” was drunk and more interested in the football game on tv at the bar. 3 “chefs” for a Sunday night. Waitress was great! Won’t be returning. I’ll drive down the road to another hibachi grill.
The Red Hat ladies have been to Wasabi several times. It's one of our favorite places to eat.
When upon arriving the hostess gave us a quizzical look about us even booking a reservation, as if she didn’t know how to monitor incoming reservations. She argued with me when I presented my open table gift card and saying that I needed a check when in fact the website told me different. The cook didn’t put on any kind of show and even cooked his own dinner with ours! I understand everyone needs a break and to eat, but cooking your food while you’re suppose to be entertaining your customers is inappropriate. The reason why we wanted to sit at the hibachi table is to be entertained, not just to be cooked for. Management really needs to step it up and make sure they’re providing quality service for all of their patrons.
We made reservations at 7:30 and had to wait an hour to be seated, 45min for soup, 20 more mins for salad! Our cook was fantastic. We enjoy going here, but for not a busy night and a reservation the wait was a bit ridiculous.

we made reservations online for 6:30. When we got there they started to seat us at a table but then said oh no wait and put us back in the waiting area until 6:50. Our waitress took over 15 minutes to bring back a drink menu. We had already had our soup and we're bringing our salad before we ever got our appetizers. It was at least a 15 minutes wait for a refill on a beer.
All in all service was terrible but the food was good
They do not do reservations, so I have no idea why they are on open table. We sat ourselves after waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes past our open table time. Then we waited about 15 minutes before we were noticed. After that, everything was great. Very nice waiter and the food was great!
It's always a fun place to eat if you have kids in your party. My son loves rice so we go eat here at least once a month.
Very loud, energetic, performance based dining. Service was quick and efficient for a party of eight. The volume of food was quite large and was very tasty. Hibachi chefs are entertaining. We had a couple of small children and our chef was very aware of how young and kept his antics to a minimum. Was very appreciative. It is hard to talk to everyone with being spread out but was still quite enjoyable. We brought in cupcakes for a birthday guest and waitress was very helpful in serving those. Very good overall experience.
We made reservation for 7:00 on a Sunday for a party of six ( it was for a Birthday dinner). We arrived 15 minutes early and checked in with the hostess. I was told it would only be a few minutes before we would be seated. At 7:30 I went back to the hostess and asked how much longer ( We had plans to go to a 9:00 movie). She was very short with me and said we were next and it would only be a few more minutes. We waited another 15 minutes at which time they had already called 2 other parties ahead of us with roughly the same number of people. After waiting 45 minutes (with reservations) I walked up very politely and told her to cancel our reservation we would go some place else. She was extremely short with me and asked my name so she could cancel our reservation. Wow, this was only our second time going here, but it most certainly will be our last. We took our business elsewhere and spend $200 some place else that wanted our business .
Had a nice time with my wife and son. Reasonable prices and good service. Make a reservation.
