It was a nice quiet Saturday that a couple of my friends and I went. Everyone was following COVID protocols and our service was quick. Their grapefruit hand sanitizer smelled yummy!
Incredible food and a beautiful restaurant. We celebrated my husband’s birthday and had a very lovely time - highly recommend :-)
It was my girl’s birthday and they were able to surprise her with my request for a cake with a candle. Food was delicious and service was nice and attentive. Would definitely come back again.
Takoyaki was good, everything else was mediocre. Otherwise, service was good, fast, friendly. Wish the food was better. Nice ambiance
We had a great meal and cocktails. The service was fantastic. And they were very very good at following safety protocols.
Best sushi happy hour around
Good food. Good price.
Great food, great prices, lovely staff, nice space, and close to the Moore Theatre.
It was a nice Valentine’s dinner. Our table wasn’t ready for about 15 minutes. We had a drink in the bar, but the tab wasn’t transferable for some strange reason.
The initial service was a bit slow, the shrimp soup wasn’t great. The salmon belly, Waygu beef & sushi was good.
We would try it again.
We went for the Valentine's day dinner. It was a $95 per couple fixed menu dinner. The only choice was 1 of 3 sushi rolls on offer. This is fine. However, the service was incredibly slow and the food came out cold and very poor quality. The first course was soup, which came out at room temperature (supposed to be hot) and was so salty and fishy that I couldn't even eat it. The next course included a couple of crab rangoons (cold), a few other unidentified items, and some room-temperature scallops that tasted either spoiled or like they'd been previously frozen (or both). The sushi roll wasn't bad, nor was the ice cream dessert sundae. The service was extremely slow... the soup (room temperature) came within about 10 minutes of sitting down but the next course (also room temperature) didn't come out for at least 30 minutes, and only after we asked about it. Incredibly disappointing experience. The waiter was nice but just not very attentive or fast.
I’ve been to Wann when it first opened in Seattle, and haven’t been there since, and now I know why I haven’t. The food was not that good, the only thing I liked was Takoyaki. I asked the server to bring separate bowls for Agedashi tofu, and she just brought the spoons only, not the serving bowls. Didn’t offer to change the serving plates, either. Shochu we order was bad. Not worth going back there for me.
As good as always!
Great food and wonderful atmosphere. Bought some friends with us and the really enjoyed themselves.
So glad we found this place! Great Happy Hour food and pricing. Delicious and generous portions. Nice atmosphere and attentive service. Next time we may opt to sit in the nice large bar. We’ll be back!
Good fun and a relaxed atmosphere. We were there for happy hour and everything was good. The restaurant did appear to get much busier around 7pm, which was fine, but I’m glad we got there earlier.
This Izakaya is elegant, understated, convenient dining venue with quality food, prompt and friendly service, beautiful ambiance. After frequenting for almost a year, it still remains my restaurant of choice for both business and casual dining. Go explore!
Food was great. The host, staff, and servers were polite and attentive. The menu was not as extensive as a traditional Izakaya but it had all the right standards. I’ll definitely be back my next trip to Seattle
Excellent service throughout our visit, thank you to this team for the attentive service and wonderful experience
Good lunchtime spot, not too crowded. Only thing was that it took a while to receive our food order.
Great sushi great atmosphere, perfect place for pre-Moore theater concerts!
Not a quality food place...very disappointing.
Amazing food, exceptional service, beautiful interior design. Perfect!
Go on a day that is Happy Hour and you will be surprised about how great the prices are compared to other sushi restaurants in Seattle. Food was very well done and the service person was very attentive and helpful. We will come back to this restaurant in the future.
We waited over half an hour for our food. Definitely not a good choice if you only have an hour long lunch break.
Taste was good!
Service was also nice.
The service was a bit slow and the food was mediocre. The house cold saki had no flavor.
The service at Wann Izakaya was beyond amazing, my family and I had never been to this restaurant and our server was very understanding and helpful to show us what we really wanted to eat.
Great Happy Hour! The food and service was very good. I will be back. Keep up the good work.
It was horrible service we were the only ones there and the lack of service was badd I ordered edamame which they forgot and then brought it to me in a plastic bag and still charged me for it. Second was that I ordered a banana tempera and minutes later stated srry where out of vanilla icecream and offered us another flavor and still had to pay full price for something they lack on having. I will not come back for awhile this is the 3 time I have an unpleasant stay.
Service wasnt so great our waitress would get lost I get it it was full. However another waiter had to pick up his slack
Restaurant was empty when we arrived at a peak dining hour, which should have tipped us off. We were seated promptly but had to ask for cocktail menu. Ramen broth had an off, metallic taste. Octopus balls came out hot and were probably the best item on the menu. Sashimi was OK but a little too close to room temperature, making us concerned. Overall, the experience was lackluster, and at times we felt as if we were inconveniencing the aloof waitress. The bathrooms were filthy and there was one empty soap dispenser that looked as if it hadn’t been filled in quite some time. Terrible value for what we paid for. Would not recommend.
Bento Lunch at Wann is a fantastic deal - 8 or so options for the main protein (incl. sashimi, tempura, tonkatsu, salmon teriyaki, japanese fried chicken, etc.) plus salad and side dishes for $10.
Service was good, generally quiet restaurant, about 1/2 full when we were there at 1pm.
Service was incredibly slow and it wasn’t even busy. Took 15 minutes to get 3
Great food options. We were there for happy hour & we ordered so many different small plates. We had a great time! The service is great as well. Highly recommended.
Service was awesome!
We enjoyed happy hour at Wann and it was a steal. Four large "small" plates and drinks for under $50. The octopus dumplings and grilled beef dishes were nicely seasoned and very tasty. The place has a chic kind of feel with jazz in the background and a sound level that made it easy to have a conversation. Service was good, but sometimes a bit over-attentive. But I can live with it given the quality of the food and location.
Waiter started in a bad mood. But, got happier at the end.
Very good Japanese food and excellent value
Very busy next to us baby crying throwing bottle etc. Service was okey only one waiter not cool.
We absolutely enjoyed our first visit to Wann. We will definitely come back again, and hopefully soon! Food was delicious and our server was attentive and a delight to chat with.
