Very good service but for a michelin star restaurant, would expect the food to be more on the extraordinary side, rather than just good.

We love all the KG venues (Sabarsky, Blaue Ganz). The Schnabel artwork here a plus, but we loved it as well with previous paintings. The food is authentically Viennese and scrumptious.

We have been meaning to eat here for years and finally dined at Wallse recently. What we were waiting for! The food was wonderful, specifically the entrees Crispy Mediterranean Sea Bass and the Butter Cooked Maine Lobster, the ambience was warm and the waitstaff was genuinely interested in our dining experience. BTW, don't pass on the Salzburger Nockerl for dessert, you will not be disappointed. The artwork was very cool to look at and the music was great which added to the positive vibe. We will back here soon.

I remember Wallse from the time it opened. It was so perfect! This was not the original that I know, though. First off, we were sat late, and with no apology and no recognition for their error. While I am not one who desires special treatment, the money you spend at this restaurant should translate into how they treat you before you even sit down. Second, this was a birthday event, and even though I specifically noted that detail in my reservation and when I confirmed, they still did nothing to make this event even semi-special for us. That, again, is not the Wallse I know. I am a teacher and do not make enough to eat out like this often. It is pretty clear to me that a restaurant such as this only caters to those that see it as nothing special. That is supremely annoying to me. And lastly, they seriously need to higher a bartender that possesses the requisite skills to make a simple martini.

We recently dined at Wallsé and had pleasant evening. The room is lovely and service top notch. The sommelier in particular was extremely personable, knowledgable and helpful with a terrific Austrian wine list. We talked about wonderful Gemischter Satz, the quirky delicious mix Austrian whites. He helped us chose a lovely reisling from Austria. Our food for the most part was delicious except that the Wiener Schintzel was not crispy nor as tasty as we would have expected. The sides of pickles and potatoes were fantastic as was our started salads. Overall the experience was great but schintzel needs some work.

We had reservations and were seated right away. I love that the ambience was nice and quiet. You can actually have a conversation! So unusual these days. The food was plated beautifully. The food was unusual in that there are not many Austrian restaurants. One small fault I found is that the waiter may want to pass out the entree menus before asking us which wine we would like.

My husband and I are both foodies and we indulge quality meals. The food was outstanding, prepared to perfection and beautifully presented. Portion sizes were perfect for us (not too large, not too small - just right- so we could enjoy several courses). The staff did not rush us, even though we lingered a bit (we met up with old friends and had a lot to catch upon). Service was very good, but not overly intrusive. Wallse exceeded our expectations and we plan to go back.

Service and food were both excellent. I read the review in the NYTimes, and made the reservation for a birthday celebration for my boyfriend. We have vacationed in Vienna twice and had excellent Wiener schnitzel which was also fabulous at Wallse. Great menu, wines and service. I highly recommend it.
