The food was horrible. Breakfast potatoes were absolute mush. Blintzes were cold and looked like a cat clawed at them. My wife and I could not take one bite. It looked unsafe to eat. The staff was also overly chatty and didn’t know when to leave the table.
Great brunch! Our mimosas were never empty and the food was delicious! Jason Book was our server and he was fantastic
Excellent all around and the View speaks for itself!
Great food, great location. Sat outside only suggestion is add dimmers to the overhead lights. They were too bright
Food took forever. Apparently burger night means my steak takes an hour
Was weird. Made a reservation, and when we walked up, the hostess said “sit anywhere,” so we did. Then one of the waiters said we needed to be seated by the hostess and walked us out. The hostess said, “I meant the bar area.” ... but we had a reservation. Apparently, under duress, she seated us. All very bizarre. The service and food was just so-so from that point forward. Nothing bad. Nothing outstanding.
Very slow service. Place nearly empty and 30 min for drinks? Terrible.
Wonderful Easter buffet with outdoor dining and fantastic view!
Came in with a group of six for Easter brunch. When I made the reservation the site said would be 32.95 but when we finished our meal the bill added up to 58.95 per person when we asked I was told it was due to a few added items on the menu for Easter. Did not see that price anyware and this is not a 60.00 brunch. The food and service were good but after calling and emailing management with no response I can’t reccomend this place
Terrible outdoor seating for Easter Sunday brunch. I booked 6 weeks in advance. Very disappointing.
I will be calling restaurants directly in the future as Open Table clientele are given lower status.
Definitely not “$” unless you’re ordering off the kids menu! But the Mac n cheese was bland...
The flatbread was delicious. Calamari was tasty.
Great views. Good menu. Adequate wine list. Overall a good experience.
It was my girlfriends birthday and everyone made her feel so special! Our lunch was great. A beautiful day to sit outside and enjoy the view.
Thank you for making our day wonderful
Nice view on patio, service was great, folate bread bacon and date pizza was yummy, meatloaf was ok.
Great venue and awesome views! Best part is the restaurant is a Dirona dining winner and that confirms all quality and service will be great!
Great restaurant, ambiance and food. Definitely will return.
I felt the dinner menu was rather limited. Ambiance was lovely and service was great!
The food was so mediocre and the service was no better
Great dinner. Food done right. Service timely. Ambiance wonderful. The Vue has its act together!!
Great place to spend an evening with friends. Food and service were both winderful and the view is spectacular!
Great place... going back in a few days
Great food, amazing atmosphere, spectacular service, very good price. I want to go more frequently.
We made a reservation for the dining room but got there early and the bar was so nice we decided to eat there instead. That are is a little bit noisy, but it is a bar. Dining room much quieter. Nice outside patio with heaters but we still thought it was too cold to sit outside. Would love to do that next time. We found the staff very friendly and accommodating and did not have any issue with slow service that I saw on other reviews. Food and cocktails were great. Prices maybe slightly more than some restaurants but not unreasonable. We had the bacon wrapped dates for an appetizer which were great. I had the drunken sea bass which was perfectly cooked with a very light sauce and very flavorful. My friend had the chicken which was moist and the sauce was very good. The views were beautiful especially since we were there at sunset.
The shrimp was outstanding, but the meatloaf was mushy and bland. Our waiter, Shaun was great. He recommended the strawberry shortcake for dessert and it was perfect. Great atmosphere and service.
Fantastic Brunch and really great service! We sat on the patio and the view was outstanding overlooking the golf courses.
Our server was awesome. It was nice to sit in the outdoor patio and our four d was good. I would love to go there again!
Everything was great except it took a long time to receive and pay our bill.
Everything was Average
This was our first to to Palm Springs and someone told us to come here for dinner. It was a party of 4. We all loved the food. Our waitress was wonderful. We will be back for sure
The can’t cook a steak to order - medium well
Steak was raw - sent back - cook ruined it - removed from Check, but didn’t get a meal to eat - messed up timing of eating meal together — left a bad taste in or mouth. Will not go back to Vue for dinner.
Service is important. Although very polite, our waiter was slow, couldn't get our cocktails right, didn't bring bread until we asked, and didn't remove unused wine glasses. He needed much prompting. It was a cool damp evening and yet there was no fire in the ample fireplace. The food was good but more expensive than listed in the on line menu. These are minor issues yes,
but we expected better from a "fine dining" experience.
The food was fantastic as was the service. We tried the date-wrapped in bacon appetizer. My wife doesn't generally like dates, but this preparation was one that she went for fully to the extent that she will try to duplicate it at home. The salmon was phenomenal. Best that we have ever had. The wait staff were friendly and efficient. We will definitely return to the Vue!
Tuna inedible. Filet not prime. Prices high for quality served. 30 minutes for entree to be served.
Limited menu but great for everyday dinner. Half price wine on Thursday
Have been there many times for lunch and it is always good food, awesome view and everyone is extremely friendly.
Went for dinner for the first time and the food was delicious and the chef even came by our table to see if we enjoyed our meal. We had the special, which was grilled scallops with fingerling potatoes served over shredded and very well seasoned vegies.
This is the best brunch and the best value in Palm desert.
Wonderful beginning to end
We had a wonderful Sunday brunch. Our waiter, Roberto, was attentive and poured champagne as "needed". The food was delicious, and varied. Waffles, lox, biscuits & gravy, custom omelettes, dessert, prime rib, chilaquiles. What else can I say?
This restaurant was a tremendous disappointment. The server was poorly trained and rushed in his service. He served water in a glass that had a crack from the rim all the way to the base. It was ready to shatter. We ordered a kale salad with grapes that was delicious. The meatloaf, however, was very average and too spicy hot to enjoy even though the menu or the server did not alert us to the heat. The mashed potatoes on the plate were served in a mound probably with an ice cream scoop. They were tasteless. The chicken was mummified. It was as dry as any chicken breast you have ever eaten. It couldn't be cut with a knife but only shredded by the blade. Zero flavor and a torture to chew. The wine least was middle supermarket shelf. Avoid this place.
We had very nice time at The Vue. We go there often and are rarely less than fully satisfied with it.
