Great venue and awesome views! Best part is the restaurant is a Dirona dining winner and that confirms all quality and service will be great!
Great restaurant, ambiance and food. Definitely will return.
I felt the dinner menu was rather limited. Ambiance was lovely and service was great!
The food was so mediocre and the service was no better
Great dinner. Food done right. Service timely. Ambiance wonderful. The Vue has its act together!!
Great place to spend an evening with friends. Food and service were both winderful and the view is spectacular!
Great place... going back in a few days
Great food, amazing atmosphere, spectacular service, very good price. I want to go more frequently.
We made a reservation for the dining room but got there early and the bar was so nice we decided to eat there instead. That are is a little bit noisy, but it is a bar. Dining room much quieter. Nice outside patio with heaters but we still thought it was too cold to sit outside. Would love to do that next time. We found the staff very friendly and accommodating and did not have any issue with slow service that I saw on other reviews. Food and cocktails were great. Prices maybe slightly more than some restaurants but not unreasonable. We had the bacon wrapped dates for an appetizer which were great. I had the drunken sea bass which was perfectly cooked with a very light sauce and very flavorful. My friend had the chicken which was moist and the sauce was very good. The views were beautiful especially since we were there at sunset.
The shrimp was outstanding, but the meatloaf was mushy and bland. Our waiter, Shaun was great. He recommended the strawberry shortcake for dessert and it was perfect. Great atmosphere and service.
Fantastic Brunch and really great service! We sat on the patio and the view was outstanding overlooking the golf courses.
Our server was awesome. It was nice to sit in the outdoor patio and our four d was good. I would love to go there again!
Everything was great except it took a long time to receive and pay our bill.
Everything was Average
This was our first to to Palm Springs and someone told us to come here for dinner. It was a party of 4. We all loved the food. Our waitress was wonderful. We will be back for sure
The can’t cook a steak to order - medium well
Steak was raw - sent back - cook ruined it - removed from Check, but didn’t get a meal to eat - messed up timing of eating meal together — left a bad taste in or mouth. Will not go back to Vue for dinner.
Service is important. Although very polite, our waiter was slow, couldn't get our cocktails right, didn't bring bread until we asked, and didn't remove unused wine glasses. He needed much prompting. It was a cool damp evening and yet there was no fire in the ample fireplace. The food was good but more expensive than listed in the on line menu. These are minor issues yes,
but we expected better from a "fine dining" experience.
The food was fantastic as was the service. We tried the date-wrapped in bacon appetizer. My wife doesn't generally like dates, but this preparation was one that she went for fully to the extent that she will try to duplicate it at home. The salmon was phenomenal. Best that we have ever had. The wait staff were friendly and efficient. We will definitely return to the Vue!
Tuna inedible. Filet not prime. Prices high for quality served. 30 minutes for entree to be served.
Limited menu but great for everyday dinner. Half price wine on Thursday
Have been there many times for lunch and it is always good food, awesome view and everyone is extremely friendly.
Went for dinner for the first time and the food was delicious and the chef even came by our table to see if we enjoyed our meal. We had the special, which was grilled scallops with fingerling potatoes served over shredded and very well seasoned vegies.
This is the best brunch and the best value in Palm desert.
Wonderful beginning to end
We had a wonderful Sunday brunch. Our waiter, Roberto, was attentive and poured champagne as "needed". The food was delicious, and varied. Waffles, lox, biscuits & gravy, custom omelettes, dessert, prime rib, chilaquiles. What else can I say?
This restaurant was a tremendous disappointment. The server was poorly trained and rushed in his service. He served water in a glass that had a crack from the rim all the way to the base. It was ready to shatter. We ordered a kale salad with grapes that was delicious. The meatloaf, however, was very average and too spicy hot to enjoy even though the menu or the server did not alert us to the heat. The mashed potatoes on the plate were served in a mound probably with an ice cream scoop. They were tasteless. The chicken was mummified. It was as dry as any chicken breast you have ever eaten. It couldn't be cut with a knife but only shredded by the blade. Zero flavor and a torture to chew. The wine least was middle supermarket shelf. Avoid this place.
We had very nice time at The Vue. We go there often and are rarely less than fully satisfied with it.
Great food, service and we had a party of ten and they handled us with efficiency and grace.
Everything was great except for the fact that we had a reservation for 8pm and still had to wait 20 minutes for our table. There were also open spots at the bar but we weren’t made aware of these or told we could sit there instead of waiting for a table.
A bit pricey for what we got for lunch. Servers were very busy courteous & fishes nicely presented. But there wa no description of Adsian Slaw for my seared ahi salad. It was filled with cilantro that I can't stand & have an adverse reaction to, and was otherwise not like any slaw I've known. I sent it back to be replaced but the ahi portion was rather skimpy, Esp. For $17.
This place had good reviews so we were happy even though they were the only open spot around our hotel for a Christmas Day dinner
The place was defined by multiple screens of television and the buffet assembled was more akin something you will find on a cross country event than a high end resort
Because the event was a buffet, the staff decided it was ok to avoid serving and also to partake at the buffet while the event was still on.
Some of the dishes were edible but the experience was not!
Our experience was horrible. Hostess with an attitude, we so wished we turned around and ate at our hotel ( Hyatt). It was a Christmas dinner buffet and most servers ( front ladies, chefs who were serving meat etc..) were oozing out negative energy. We barely ate anything there BC we just wanted to get out asap. Waitress and waiters are nice - they saved my evening. Horrible dinner experience- never again.
We have been loyal patrons of the Vue for many years. Last Christmas Day buffet was a delightful experience. This Christmas Eve was a oungest the worst meals I have ever had. A very disappointing evening for me, our son and grandson. All adults.
The brothers 2 for 2 but, separately acknowledged Allen and Nelson are one of the most attentive, patient, gracious brothers they will absolutely bring us back again! This is a perfect place to celebrate any occasion.
Great Cobb Salad...order it every time I go...fish is nice too
The food was wonderful! The service was slow. Our server's name was Michael and he waited on us the time before last. Our reservations then were for 6:30 p.m. We hadn't received our meal by 8:00 p.m. so we walked out - paying only for what we had already received! The last meal there was essentially the same thing with Michael being our server, again! However, we stuck it out and did enjoy the dinner. I really took issue with the fact that my husband ordered the Roasted Beet Salad. Because he LOVES beets he was willing to pay the $15 for the salad! In my opinion, $15 for a salad is ridiculous! Unless the beets were dusted in gold, (which they were not) the salad should NOT have cost more than $8-9 max! Given the fact that it's a beautiful restaurant with beautiful views we will be back, but not for dinner - it will be for Happy Hour only! Another thing - this last time was a Friday night in season and there were only three other couples dining while we were there! In season, in the desert, on a Friday night, it should have been packed!
Visiting from out of state. The dinner menu looked good and location close to our hotel. Service was slow and we were the only ones in the dining area. Ordered the seafood platter and rack of lamb. No butter or sauce served with lobster and scallops. Rack of lamb was overdone. We did get a $19 credit because of the rack of lamb. Will never go there again.
Exceeded expectations. Nice range of menus offerings and friendly service. We enjoyed sharing the Cowboy rib-eye - excellent quality with creative side dishes.
This was our first Thanksgiving dinner at Vue. Our expectations for not at home T'giving dinners were not, based on experience, very high, but the Vue positively surprised. The food was excellent and of home quality. The carving station offered turkey, roast beef, and ham (all three for the gluttonous types). Service was friendly and efficient. A very pleasant experience which we are likely to repeat.
Terrific Thanksgiving dinner with excellent service. We’ll definitely be back!
Disappointed with quality of food. Slow service as well.
