The dinner that never was. We arrived at 6, finally flagged down a server at 6:25 and ordered drinks and dinner at the same time. Got the drinks. Eventually got one side salad. Our server Michelle came over around 6:45 and apologized, said she’d talked to the manager and they would comp our dinners. That was nice. Then we waited another half hour. Still no food. We paid our check for the drinks and left. Hungry. And sad. Never to return.

My entree -- wagyu burger -- was stone cold. We've eaten at Vue many many times and this was the first significant screw up over all these years. But it was a screwup.

Always have the Cobb Salad and it's always great. The Vue doesn't disappoint for lunch. You need to get your online presence straightened out. It's hard to make a reservation.

This is my 3rd time eating at The Vue in the last week and I can hardly wait until my next visit. The deck offers fabulous views. The wait staff are outstanding and the food is very good!! This is a positive change because I had a very different opinion a year ago. New management makes a huge difference!! Let’s talk about the food .. I have been w groups of 8 and 4. The burgers excellent. Tacos fantastic. Salads excellent. Lettuce wraps very good. Chicken sandwich great. Ban meh vegan sandwich - excellent. Potato chips are very good. I didn’t care for the onion dip appetizer. I suggested Carmelizing the onions, adding a bit more salt, and a splash of balsamic vinegar! Eager to try them again because I’ll bet they work on making it better. Drinks are great! Prices are dialed. Looking forward to my next visit!! Keep it up!!

First and foremost the patio views are incredible ,the only issue was a couple of tractor trucks rolling around outside. The food was just ok. I ordered the chicken wings and they actually seemed like boiled chicken wings slathered with mediocre sauce. I was disappointed although the Ceasar salad was pretty good.

Waited 10 min to be greeted. Another 15+ minutes for drink to arrive. Ordered 2 waffles with strawberries and cream and bacon crispy. Came out cold and dry. Was supposed to come with strawberry and cream which was not on the plate. When we finally flagged a server, they came with the strawberry but no cream. So had to wait again. The bacon was greasy, cold and and fatty. $16+ for 1 small waffle plus an additional $5 for the 2 pieces of bacon was just crazy. Unfortunately will not go back

I made our brunch reservation with that fabulous buffet in mind that The Vue had, but I realize post Covid buffets aren’t a very good idea. As always, the menu made choosing one item difficult and everything that came to the table was delicious. Our service was excellent, friendly, prompt, but not in our face. So glad to be back.

The fish and chips were soggy and unremarkable. The lobster cobb salad had very little lobster for the price. The best thing were the cocktails. They were large and strong. Great bartender.

We went for Father’s Day. The view is beautiful. Online it said there was brunch menu. There was no brunch menu. They had a crab omelette as a special, and we asked if they could make an omelette with veggies and the chef would not accommodate. The service was very poor. Also, our dessert ever came. The manager gave us desserts for free, which made up for it. We took them home. He also took a small portion off of our bill.

Family of 5. We enjoyed a pleasant evening at Vue, while staying at the Regency next door - always nice not having to drive when on holiday. Starters were basic, but good, beer battered avocado and onion rings. Watermelon gazpacho was okay. Kids had angel hair pasta and marinara, quite dry as they were a bit skimpy on the sauce - asked for garlic/chili oil to add but told not available. Kids meal comes with sundae. Watermellon-feta salad was decent, vegan bowl left a lot to be desired, but a good sized portion. Server generally attentive, but to the absolute minimum level, despite not being busy at all. Brought the cheque before offering deserts. We were the only non-white family in the restaurant for dinner.

We've had a lot of disappointing and flavorless food in Palm Desert, so we kept our expectations low when trying this restaurant. However, the majority of the food was very good. Pros: The burger, fries, and steak. Cons: Short rib and gnocchi lacked flavor even though the short rib was very tender. The biggest issue we had was when they allowed people with dogs to sit inside the restaurant instead of outside. That's definitely a health code violation where we come from and should not be allowed ever.

The only complaint I have is that it was freezing the restaurant. The food and service were both fantastic! We felt like cold air was blowing directly on us and I couldn’t warm up. They were so kind to bring me a blanket to help!

The food was perfect. We did lunch with two out of country guest. We all had something different and we all enjoyed our meal. It was a lunch, so the meals were hamburgers, pan I, soup and sandwich. So nothing truly gourmet, but each meal was tasty and the service delightful. The noise level was perfect, but agin we were out on the patio, so quiet was expected.

It’s been some time we last dined here. We’re surprised the Dining Room is only used for special events. All seating is now in the bar area which is noisy and doesn’t fit the price point for this venue. Food service was disorganized. Our server was pleasant but the kitchen and expediting staffs need training. We waited nearly an hour for dinner to arrive. Three of six entrees were returned because they were served cold, including the $51 beef filet. Two pasta dishes were cold and returned, as were the side dishes which were also cold. My husband decided to replace his filet with a salad rather than wait for another steak to be prepared. The pasta dishes were reheated quickly and diners said they enjoyed them once they were hot. Two beef short rib orders were very good but arrived just warm enough to eat as were the side vegetables. The one salmon order was good but the risotto side dish was served just warm not piping hot as it should have been. We missed the quiet ambiance of the former dining room. Paying these prices to eat in a bar area that’s filled with TV screens, a lot of foot traffic and noise isn’t what most customers incurring this cost would expect. I’m aware that, post covid, many dining venues haven’t been able to hire enough help to assure efficient service. This is most unfortunate because it’s certain to cause many once-popular dining venues to close. We won’t be returning to Vue.

we were a table of 4 people I was freezing. we ask if we can seat outside, they made us wait for like another 40 min. we spend too much money. the bill with the $75 per person and our drinks was $600.

We arrived at 6:30 and finally left at 8:15 with no entrees because the kids were exhausted. Spoke to the manager and supervisor who did not even offer bread (which I asked for). There was a wedding which was backing up the kitchen but why was this not planned for? We were celebrating a birthday and were on vacation so all around a terrible experience.
