VUE 24 - Foxwoods Resort Casino
Dinner: Sunday, Thursday: 5:00pm - 10:00pm; Friday - Saturday: 5:00pm - 11:00pm
24th floor of the Grand Pequot Tower.
The service was excellent and the food was great. The menu is expensive so not an place you would really go to for everyday dining. Went for anniversary so it was a great atmosphere for that. But had food that was better for less money.
My birthday was this Sunday and we treated ourselves to a special dinner at VUE 24 on Saturday night. We ordered through Open Table which was easy. The Manager, hostesses, and waiters were exceptional especially Myles and Kevin. The view is spectacular, with a giant globe in the great ceiling. The space large beautifully decorated and warm, the menu creative, topping it off is a talented Pianist who plays piano like Count Basie. It's a fabulous place and as we looked around everyone looked pleased, and delighted by the music. It was truly a delight, an amazing addition to The Foxwood Repetoire of restaurants and made my birthday all the more special. You'll love it!!! Love Diane
Rose petals awaited us at our table for our anniversary dinner. We had a delicious meal at an unhurried pace with attentive service and superb food. Highly recommend!
We had our Honeymoon Dinner at Vue 24. It was the best meal of my life, we got the chateau and it was beyond unbelievable.
Great food. Great waitress. Terrible hostess that made us wait unnecessarily while the table was being "prepared"... The restaurant had an overwhelming number of open tables.
First time at Vue 24. Server was (Daniel) friendly and very attentive. Food was very good. Sat by ther windows which had a great view of the Connecticut woods, but if you want to enjoy listening to the live piano player I would suggest a table closer to him, which is by the bar area. Will return.
Food was fantastic , presentation beautiful! Staff were SO friendly and accommodating !! Had a wonderful dinner !
We went for our anniversary and everything was wonderful.
A window table reveals a breathtaking view of the area. The food was excellent. Our server, Kevin, was very professional and personable. Be sure to make reservations for the best tables.
As expected, a phenomenal view of the CT forested hillsills from the 24th floor as well as the occasional zip-liner zipping by just below. Service was gas for friendly and professional from the Maitre d to the servers, everyone was happy to see us and engage. Piano in bar (?) could be heard at an appropriate volume in the restaurant. We will be back! Thanks
We celebrated our 3rd anniversary. The staff was warm and the ambiance was inviting. We enjoyed our dinner and also the specialty drink our waiter had the bartender make for my spouse.
Shannan was amazing! The meal was just delicious and we were accommodated so well. Will be back for sure!
Amazing!!! The staff was top notch. The views and the live music was gorgeous. Best birthday brunch ever!
Everything was outstanding. The seafood tower was incredibly good and a value at $100.
It was my husband's birthday - we had the nicest server "Kevin" who was very attentive but not bothersome. We had the most wonderful meal...I had Lobster and Asparagus and my husband had the Cod and Leeks - both meals where delicious - would strongly recommend if you are looking for a restaurant that knows how to treat their customers and have a wonderful dinner.
We loved the entire experience. From the moment you walk in the hostess was friendly, then the gentleman tending bar was extra friendly, we almost were gonna eat at the bar but since we had reservations for a table by the window and it was our first visit, we thought we would keep that. We loved hearing the piano being played the entire night. The steak was delicious, cooked perfectly. We also had an amazing bottle of Caymus wine. The waitstaff was awesome. Perfect night if you are visiting Foxwoods, its a must.
The food was great (bread seemed store bought though); the servers were amazing; and the atmosphere was so romantic! The drinks, on the other hand, were mediocre; so, that was disappointing.
I have been coming to Vue 24 for several years for dinners with my son. While the "Vue" and the food are outstanding, it s the people who make the place special. Hats off to Steve at the bar, Marije the hostess and Jack the piano player. They make us eel like old friends and family.. Love the place!
The food was outstanding, as were the prep and presentation. Service was slow and disorganized. The wine list doesn't show vintages, which are important to anyone knowledgable about wine. I asked for the vintages on three bottles on the list. They took 15 minutes to get the vintages and couldn't find one of the bottles. This delayed ordering food. The view is fantastic, especially for watching the sun set. (A couple was engaged during the sunset and everyone clapped.) The atmosphere is quiet and the decor elegant but not stodgy. A superb pianist played softly in the background.
This place is AMAZING!
Our server was so attentive and gracious.
Food was perfect.
Seating and decor was beautiful.
Definitely coming back!
The Vue offers a fine dining experience to a backdrop of jazz piano. The menu has something for everyone’s palette and their presentation is impeccable. The setting is elegant. The servers are outstanding, their attention to detail is excellent. They are attentive, pleasant and professional. They make the dining a most pleasurable experience. The food is delicious! We drive from Newton, MA just to have dinner at Vue 24. It’s on the 24th floor so if it’s light out you’ll have a fabulous view. The overall experience is outstanding. Chef Michael is awesome.
Excellent all around and the stand outs for us were the oysters, bucatini pasta and scallops. This was a great way to spend a romantic birthday and a wonderful experience.
Daniel was an amazing waiter. We were celebrating my parents 50th anniversary and they went above and beyond to make it magical.
Waiter was amazing
Drinks were amazing
Short ribs were a tad mushy but overall good meal
Had a great time would visit again!!!!!
Service and Atmosphere were amazing. Scallops and Calamari were on point as well as the cocktails. Would highly recommend.
Great place for Sunday brunch
I would recommend Vue24 to anyone going out for a fine dining experience. The restaurant and food were amazing. The couple at the table next to us was obnoxiously loud and all over each other. Those two were the only negative part of the meal. The manager handled the couple professionally without causing a scene. Her efforts were appreciated, but the atmosphere did not improve until the couple left. It would have been better to see them kicked out.
Delicious, creative brunch menu and beautiful bread/dessert buffet. Prettiest brunch I’ve ever eaten.
Old school elegance. Good food, great wine list, and really good cocktails.
The chateaubriand for two was simply amazing ! It was cooked to perfection !
The food at The Vue is excellent and the presentation is outstanding. The servers are also outstanding, they know the menu and are very attentive. The menu has a wide range of items with something for every pallet. Chef Michael does a superb job! It’s also a plus to dine with live music from the pianist Jack Madry, he plays a wide range of genres.
The restaurant itself and our waitress was great. The mood is properly set with the live piano which was actually our favorite part of the experience. The food itself however, was unfortunately not what we expected. My girlfriend and I go to upscale restaurants in Boston and Portsmouth often and have been for awhile. This was actually our first upscale restaurant that we did not like at all when it came to the food. We both started with lobster bisque which was extremely thick and overly creamy, we didn't even finish it. The lobster in the bisque either was not fresh or not prepared properly. We then both got filets and ordered medium rare, they both came out medium. The filet was tough and not soft at all. It also had an odd glaze around each of our filets that made it hard and chewy. Again, not something a filet should be. Overall, it was quite disappointing because it had so much potential. The 3 star rating is because of the staff and restaurant itself. The missing 2 stars is because the food was terrible. As much as we would of loved to return as we go to the casino every once in awhile, we will not be returning due to the food experience. The $200-300 bill that you're used to paying to a Boston or Portsmouth restaurant and the experience you get there is not what is presented here.
It was a horrible experience. There were bugs in my wine. They added a ton of ice to it when I didn't ask for ice. It took over half an hour to get this horrible drink and we still hadn't ordered meals. We had no choice but to walk out. Will never go again!
A little let down this time, piano player was playing half-heartedly, crab, and avocado appetizer became crab, avacado, and coleslaw used as a filler, veal oscar’s veal was not tender, and fatty, and prices went up, but HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Wow! Food and staff amazing!
Lobster amazing! Soup fantastic!
Other than having to wait 30 minutes beyond our reservation time everything was really good - above average.
It was an amazing evening. The calamari is to die for with a smoky flavor. The lobster bisque is also quite tasty. Our server, Shannan was attentive and made our experience wonderful. The peanut butter cup martini is out of this world!
Best meal ever. The waygu beef and foie gras were worth every penny.
We were there mid week so it wasn’t crowded. Piano bar was a nice touch and we could actually have a conversation at the table. The experience was excellent the service was tops and it has now become my must go to place when in the area.
