VUE 24 - Foxwoods Resort Casino
We had made a note asking for a quiet table and got a great table, with a nice view that was very quiet. Really appreciated that the request was handled so well. Staff accommodated us quickly which allowed us to get to a show on time. Food was great.
Outstanding atmosphere excellent fod attentive waiter great piano player overall wonderful dining experience
Went to Vue24 for brunch to celebrate our 20th anniversary. The salads and apps were really good. The small plates were very good.. Salmon, steak frites - both amazing, chicken and waffles and lobster omelette were both delish. The desert bar was fabulous, pink chocolate covered strawberries.. Our waitress, Shannon explained how to order.. and she was so very nice she made us feel very comfortable and welcome. The maitre d put rose petals on our table and checked on us a couple of times . And the chocolate "Happy Anniversary" plaque at the end of our visit was a nice surprise! Ohh.. .don't let me forget..the bloody mary is a meal in itself!!
Brunch was amazing! Staff was so friendly and personable. We went as a recommendation from a friend. So happy we did. We will definitely be back. Hot food is all made to order so it’s fresh and hot. I love the idea of small plates so you can try multiple things. I only wish I took a picture of the French toast before we devoured it!
We thought it was a beautiful atmosphere we had a lovely seat by the window however the Sun was going down and it was dark so we can really enjoy the view. Our waitress was lovely the service was decent and the food was pretty good. We have had better but it was good. I would recommend for a nice romantic dinner orspecial occasion.
Great service and great food. Piano was a great touch.
The pianist was amazing! The food was scrumptious and the service was beyond exquisite!! Will definitely go back!
The cuisine at The Vue is delicious and creativity presented. The menu has a wide selection, something for every palette. The servers are outstanding, professional, very efficient, pleasant and attentive.
The Chef Michael always has a delicious morsel that he offers before your meal.
It’s an extra special treat to have dinner to the backdrop of Jack the pianist playing. The evening wouldn’t be complete without him!!
You must go to The Vue!
Had the crab for two (2). Was a bit dry but overall good. The service was excellent. The lobster bisque was the best I have had.
Nice decor with piano player and good atmosphere and service was good but food was just Ok and for the price you would expect better.
Excellent food and service! Staff is very attentive without being too “in your face”. Vue 24 is much smaller and more intimate than the bigger places. We also enjoyed the jazz piano and being able to hear each other speak! We will be back!
We were so disappointed! We went to Foxwoods to see Jerry Seinfeld, and were excited to eat at VUE prior to that. I wish we had pizza instead.
Calamari: they gave us a very small amount (extremely small amount - smaller than I've ever seen in my life), and it was tasteless, so you needed some sauce or something to make it taste like anything. Trouble is, the sauce that they provided tasted awful (to both me and my wife). We told the waiter, and he came back after a fairly long wait with a sauce the chef "whipped up" for us. Good news, the sauce was really tasty. If we were at a high-end restaurant, given the long delay, they would have also given us a new order of calamari, as by now it was cold. The sauce was not good on it's own, and it was worse when you put it on calamari.
The caesar salad: the dressing was good, although we had to add extra to get the full taste. The problem with it was the piece of bread under the salad. Think 'large crouton' and you'll get the picture. It was very tasty, but you had to cut it into pieces, and it was so chewy-like that to cut through it took a lot of work, and once your knife broke through the bread, it did with such force that the salad was knocked off the plate (both of us independently experienced this). Tip to VUE, just serve that in pieces... it doesn't work.
My veal: came with an Oscar sauce (crab and a sauce) which was not good. And the flavors really clashed with the veal. I later mentioned to my wife that it was as if no one tasted the veal with the sauce together, as they conflicted (same thing as the calamari with the sauce). my veal was overcooked, but tasty, but without the sauce it was lacking.
My wife's salmon was just ok.
Dessert was the peaches with a mascarpone and whipped cream kind of topping. The topping was good, the peaches mehhh.
The wait staff was super friendly and knowledgeable - I wish the food was as good as they were. $210 should buy a far better meal than this.
The food is lovely and the waiter was quite knowledgeable about wine and extremely pleasant! Very romantic setting with live piano music. I love it!
Service was very slow to start, but there were lots of anniversary wishes from the staff throughout the night. We enjoyed the live piano music.
If you you only have one opportunity to eat at Foxwoods, The Vue should be your choice.
The menu has something for everyone; steak eaters, those that enjoy fish or fowl and vegetarians. Chef Michael has it covered.
The servers are outstanding, they are attentive, efficient and are professionals at what they do. The cocktails are good and there’s an extensive wine list.
Portions are excellent and presentation of the food is creative. DELICIOUS!
An added treat is the chef tasting before your meal arrives and the tasty sweet morsels at the end of the meal all make the dining more than a meal but an experience. All of this to the background music of Jack who plays jazz on the piano.
Fabulous food. . Crab legs for two, scallops w bacon, carrot/pea salad.
Absolutely top notch all around. Chef Mike is a delight and makes the best food in the area. Always very happy being here
Dining at The Vue is always an enjoyable and exquisite experience. The servers are excellent and the food is outstanding. The menu has something for every palette. Some dishes are prepared at your table. The rolls taste homemade and are piping hot with butter brushed on top. While your eating there’s a fantastic pianist playing. It’s enjoyable to sit at the bar with a cocktail and listen to Jack the pianist. Chef Michael does a fabulous job!
Wonderful experience, get away from the noise and lights of the Casino to a great dinner in a pleasant atmosphere. Food and service were finest rate.
Amazing service, beautiful set up, delicious food.
The service was excellent and the food was great. The menu is expensive so not an place you would really go to for everyday dining. Went for anniversary so it was a great atmosphere for that. But had food that was better for less money.
My birthday was this Sunday and we treated ourselves to a special dinner at VUE 24 on Saturday night. We ordered through Open Table which was easy. The Manager, hostesses, and waiters were exceptional especially Myles and Kevin. The view is spectacular, with a giant globe in the great ceiling. The space large beautifully decorated and warm, the menu creative, topping it off is a talented Pianist who plays piano like Count Basie. It's a fabulous place and as we looked around everyone looked pleased, and delighted by the music. It was truly a delight, an amazing addition to The Foxwood Repetoire of restaurants and made my birthday all the more special. You'll love it!!! Love Diane
Rose petals awaited us at our table for our anniversary dinner. We had a delicious meal at an unhurried pace with attentive service and superb food. Highly recommend!
We had our Honeymoon Dinner at Vue 24. It was the best meal of my life, we got the chateau and it was beyond unbelievable.
Great food. Great waitress. Terrible hostess that made us wait unnecessarily while the table was being "prepared"... The restaurant had an overwhelming number of open tables.
First time at Vue 24. Server was (Daniel) friendly and very attentive. Food was very good. Sat by ther windows which had a great view of the Connecticut woods, but if you want to enjoy listening to the live piano player I would suggest a table closer to him, which is by the bar area. Will return.
Food was fantastic , presentation beautiful! Staff were SO friendly and accommodating !! Had a wonderful dinner !
We went for our anniversary and everything was wonderful.
A window table reveals a breathtaking view of the area. The food was excellent. Our server, Kevin, was very professional and personable. Be sure to make reservations for the best tables.
As expected, a phenomenal view of the CT forested hillsills from the 24th floor as well as the occasional zip-liner zipping by just below. Service was gas for friendly and professional from the Maitre d to the servers, everyone was happy to see us and engage. Piano in bar (?) could be heard at an appropriate volume in the restaurant. We will be back! Thanks
We celebrated our 3rd anniversary. The staff was warm and the ambiance was inviting. We enjoyed our dinner and also the specialty drink our waiter had the bartender make for my spouse.
Shannan was amazing! The meal was just delicious and we were accommodated so well. Will be back for sure!
Amazing!!! The staff was top notch. The views and the live music was gorgeous. Best birthday brunch ever!
Everything was outstanding. The seafood tower was incredibly good and a value at $100.
It was my husband's birthday - we had the nicest server "Kevin" who was very attentive but not bothersome. We had the most wonderful meal...I had Lobster and Asparagus and my husband had the Cod and Leeks - both meals where delicious - would strongly recommend if you are looking for a restaurant that knows how to treat their customers and have a wonderful dinner.
We loved the entire experience. From the moment you walk in the hostess was friendly, then the gentleman tending bar was extra friendly, we almost were gonna eat at the bar but since we had reservations for a table by the window and it was our first visit, we thought we would keep that. We loved hearing the piano being played the entire night. The steak was delicious, cooked perfectly. We also had an amazing bottle of Caymus wine. The waitstaff was awesome. Perfect night if you are visiting Foxwoods, its a must.
The food was great (bread seemed store bought though); the servers were amazing; and the atmosphere was so romantic! The drinks, on the other hand, were mediocre; so, that was disappointing.
I have been coming to Vue 24 for several years for dinners with my son. While the "Vue" and the food are outstanding, it s the people who make the place special. Hats off to Steve at the bar, Marije the hostess and Jack the piano player. They make us eel like old friends and family.. Love the place!
