The Vue was 5 star Service and Food
Valentina was our server and it was a perfect night
My Lobster Pot Pie was great and what a presentation at the table
Thanks to Valentina and all the support Staff that made our evening great .
This was my second time visiting Vue 1913. My now husband and I got engaged there Dec of 2016 (and they remembered us). The service was top notch. The food was delectable. It seemed as if every server and manager who walked by our table checked on us to verify we were good. I had the lobster pot pie. It was packed with flavor. My husband had the 10 oz NY strip steak which was also bursting with flavor. We will definitely return.
Atmosphere was amazing; our waiter, Ben, was fantastic!
Great venue for out of town guests. The view of the mountains cannot be beat. The service was excellent for our party of 8. They seated us in our own section and we felt like we had VIP service. The food was great and the ambience was special.
We took the forging class and brought our items to the restaurant for an appetizer to be prepared. It was wonderful followed by a fantastic meal. Everything was perfect beginning to end.
Wonderful personalized service and absolutely wonderful food and wine. The servers rolled with the punches from our rowdy group, and made us feel welcome and appreciated. Loved it.
The best restaurant with the best service. Benjamin was the most professional with a servant mentality! He elevated our experience to the highest level. I have the steak and my wife had the duck. Both equally amazing. We will be back! Thank you again Benjamin for making our night special!!
Truly marvelous meal and service. We foraged local plants in the morning and the chef put our finds into a delicious salad that he personally delivered and described to us. It was a great 10+ experience.
Food was on par with Michelin star restaurants I've eaten at. The octopus app was by far my favorite dish. Loved this place!!!
The view from Vue is spectacular - looking over the golf course, the city of Asheville and the mountains. Both our server, Dan, and the manager, Walt Harris, were attentive, informative and very friendly. The food was outstanding, with many local sourced offerings. Also, it was my wife's birthday, so they brought a special "chocolate obsession" dessert that was as artistic as it was delicious. Walt is working on expanding the diversity of the wine list, but we were able to identify a good value and indulge in a bottle of Barolo. A great experience.
Ben is the best server I’ve ever had.
I wouldn't recommend the place so I cannot select any of the descriptions above.
Food was cold, and it should have been complimentary it was so bad.
Really nice meal, excellent service, great ambiance. No complaints except my seat at my table was facing the sunset... pretty, but blinding. Only other negative was PRICE, but expected.
We have eaten here before on a previous trip and it was exceptional. Vue 1913 did not disappoint on this trip either. It is just a fabulous restaurant at the Grove Park. The service is also exceptional. We highly recommend trying the Foie Gras entree. It is perfect to split (it is a very rich dish) and it is one of those meals that you will forget. My son said it was the meat version of a "Krispy Kreme" donut! Just fabulous! Highly recommend!
Very sophisticated menu that is a pleasure to the paler. Unique without pushing the boundaries. It was superb service on a relaxing environment. Everything was amazing.
Food was excellent, unique and very flavorful. Wait staff were great and helpful. Restaurant is certainly beautiful and great for a special occasion. Prices were high but it is at the very nice Grove Park Inn.
The food was delicious. I had the Lobster Maine Pot Pie and my husband enjoyed the Catch of the Day, which was Tile Fish. Brain, our waiter, was very knowledgeable as it related to the menu and was able to describe every item explicitly in great detail. He provided exceptional service and was very responsive to our concerns.
Overall the experience at Vue 1913 was very good. The service was fantastic. The food was good/ very good. The menu could be a bit more creative. The duck confit was very good with crispy skin. My wife had roasted oysters that had very good flavor but some of the oysters were very small. Desert options were uninspired.
Superb server and outstanding food. A lovely evening
Limited menu , high quality items
Great food and service. It was a great meal to celebrate a birthday. A bit pricy for what it was, but fantastic all the same.
Very pleasant, indeed. Sophisticated menu, great, attentive service. Pricey, but good value. Great for conversation and catching up.
It’s was a beautiful restaurant. The view was amazing and the ambiance was great. My sister dined there for dinner and we were not impressed with the menu choices. We ended up getting the meat and cheese board. We also enjoyed 2 glasses of wine. It was very expensive and that set us back $80. Would go back for a drink but not to eat there.
Too expensive for quality plus 15 dollars to valet park
The waiter was extremely nice without being overwhelming. He was knowledgeable and very polite the service was great and it was the best clams I've ever tasted. I just wish there were more clams LOL or bigger if that is such a thing. Quiet cozy and enjoyable, pricey though.
Ben was a wonderful server and made excellent recommendations throughout the meal. The food was outstanding as were the views.
Vue 1913 is perfect for special occasion dinners. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable and the food is delicious. Make sure you are there at sunset.
Excellent food, excellent service and a lovely dining area, to top it off.
One generally doesn't expect much from a hotel restaurant, but Vue 1939 surpassed our expectations.
We'd be very happy to make a return visit.
Everything was perfectly balanced between elegance and comfort. One of the best dinning experiences I’ve had in some time.
Order was miss taken. Not a problem. Staff was very attentive and informative. Overall the food was over priced.
Exceptional service and quality of food. Great use of interesting and complex accents on traditional American fare. Good wine list, deep in California wines with enough variation for those who prefer other. Wonderful evening that stands out even from excellent restaurants nationally. Pricey but worth it.
Wonderful location. Excellent food. Incredible service!!
Amazing food and great service. Beautiful view! Such a memorable experience for my boyfriend and I!
We had a lovely meal. The service was outstanding.
As good as food gets. Beautifully prepared and presented. Made my wife’s birthday a memorable occasion.
Amy, our server was superb. Excellent attention to detail, pleasant, professional and courteous. It was a very busy night (New Year’s Eve) and the chef’s plates were well presented and up to temperature. The desserts were meticulous and festive. Drinks were also very well chilled and presented. Overall A+, well done!
New Years Eve
It was nice, but very expensive.
