We have been vacationing in Orange Beach for over 30 years and this is our most favorite place ever!! We will always select this restaurant first in the future!!!
Gorgeous view. Superb meal and excellent service. The best roasted root vegetables and presentation ever. The chef even came out and stopped by our table sharing how he prepared them.
Food was great. Ambiance wonderful. Staff were all so kind & friendly. Best dining experience all around that we’ve had in a long long time. First night on vacation so we may go back before we leave. Highly recommend.
Great food ! Very relaxing atmosphere ! Service was a little slow but not bad. Overall great experience ! Staff was very friendly ! We will be back !
Amazing! Filet with wine pairing was perfection! Will definitely be back.
outstanding food and service. Our waiter Christine was the best and most accommodating waitress i have had in hears. The staff here is second to none and the food is impeccable.
We went for a quick out of town getaway. The ambiance was nice, very modern. The lady who kept our water glasses filled was very attentive .My husband ordered the venison chop and he enjoyed it, I went with the waitress 's suggestion and ordered the paella which was a big bowl of rice with a few shrimp and a lobster tail that was a bit over cooked. But like I said the atmosphere was very nice and we did have a bottle of nice wine.
Excellent food and service. Would definitely return again.
Great view of the water and beautiful interior atmosphere. Outstanding food..the scallop appetizer was perfect as was the porterhouse. The wine selection was excellent whether by the glass or the bottle.. we will definitely be back!
Our experience was amazing. From the moment we entered the restaurant till we left, the service was phenomenal! The food was cooked to perfection. We were in town on a belated Valentine's get away, requested a window seat in the reservation. When we were seated the host mentioned our trip, he remembered we were from out of town and they seated us by a window. Exceptional!
We came to Voyagers for a late Valentines day dinner. This was our first time here and the place is decorated very nicely. We had for an appetizer the rockafeller oysters which was small but ok and 2 wedge salads. For dinner my boyfriend had the paella which the shrimp smelled like ammonia and very strong smelling. I had the stuffed chicken which was cut in 3 pcs and was very hard. We both sent our plates back without a redo. They did pay for the rest of our meal but we left disappointed an hungry after driving an hr. Not sure if we will come back
My wife and I were here for my business, but came a day early and ate at Voyagers after reading good reviews and were not disappointed. The cold platter was very fresh and pickled shrimp were excellent although I expected them to be terrible. The raw oysters were sweet and fresh, but Maine lobster would have been better (but obviously not locally sourced). The calamari was expertly prepared, but the yellow tail was the best beach food I have ever had. Grilled with ? a hint of allspice ? was superb. The variation on the baked Alaska was very good. The pianist was superb and the volume level appropriate. All in all an excellent, but under rated restaurant.
I have never in my life sat down to a 250$ dinner for two and not enjoyed it until now, we went to Voyager on valentines and it was a set menu with 2 choices each app, salad, and entree my husband and I ordered everything and out of 6 dishes only 2 were actually good, 3 were ineadible, and 1 was just ok. I definitely would NOT recommend anyone going to Voyager Restaurant
I asked for my steak to be cooked well done. Either the waiter didn't put the order in correctly or the cook can't read. I was served raw meat. It was horrible. If it wasn't for my wife being hungry and wanting to eat, I took what I was served. The cook needs to learn how to cook properly. The horderve was burnt and dinner was raw. Not worth the price of the meal.
We've decided that Valentine's Day Dinner out is pretty close to New Year's Eve out anywhere; it simply never measures up to the ideal! This was our recent experience at Voyagers. Cliff Notes version: seated at a lovely table, waited 15 minutes for drink order to be taken, nice waiter, obviously busy (possible understaffing issues) but was basically non-attentive, food was good (not great). Overall impression was that the evening was a grind for the staff, formulaic service, just okay food and presentation. Happy Snowbird Valentine!
We wanted a nice dinner. The menu and wine lost onlinen looked great. We made reservations. Upon seating were informed that it was a fixed menu. Very disappointed. Food was marginal. Service was great and wine was good.
It was our early Valentine's dinner and the treated us amazingly! Christina was awesome. Very friendly and you know she enjoys what she does. Thank you again for making our night special!
By far o e of the best meals that I have ever eaten. Definitely worth the price of admission.
Our date was wonderful in large part to the service. The wine we ask for was out so they substituted with the owner's wine from his vineyard. It tasted much better than the normal I usually order. Everything was just fabulous. I can't wait to go again.
The service and ambiance is wonderful. We couldn't have asked for a better server. The food was OK, not worth the prices in my opinion. I made the mistake of ordering a whole fish and had to deal with bones as I ate. My husband's strip steak was kind of tough. Scallop appetizer was very good and I enjoyed the fried green tomato appetizer. Probably won't be back for a while, if ever, only because of the food. We're willing to pay if it's worth it.
Great service. Great food. Great atmosphere. Best restaurant in Orange Beach.
Victoria and Celia were kind and professional in their service. The food was outstanding, but no surprise from Chef Brady Olive’s kitchen.
Wonderful for special occassions. Great food and great service. Christina our server was terrific.
We celebrated our anniversary with an excellent meal and atmosphere. We started with a a cheese plate which was exceptional with local cheeses from Elberta. Our cocktail was a dirty martini which was my only disappointment of the evening. It was not up to par. My husband and I had the bone in filet and it was amazing!! Best steak in coastal Alabama!! Perfect sear and cooked to perfection. The creamed spinach was delicious. We also had a side of mushrooms that I wish had been more traditional steak mushrooms. Our daughter had the whole fish that was cooked and blackened perfectly. For dessert we had baked Alaska and Baileys and coffee. It was a perfect meal in a beautiful setting. We will definitely be back!!!
Our first time dining here was an exceptional experience and we enjoyed every minute. We were celebrating a special occasion and Voyagers was the absolutely perfect restaurant for this. The food was beyond excellent and the evening was perfect. We will return soon!
For a special NYE dinner, this was a huge disappointment. Trying the restaurant again after many years from recommendation of friends but the predetermined menu and the very large price tag (over $100 per person) for the food only that was served is the reason we will not be revisiting this restaurant again. Their regular menu may be fine, but this meal was again a disappointment.
We wanted someplace special for New Years Eve this year at the start of our winter retreat. The Voyager offered a fixed 5-course menu with choice of either seafood or beef for the main course. It was at a premium price but we wanted to see what we would get on this splurge. Our meal was beyond our wildest expectations. Every course was exceptionally delicious and perfectly sized. The distilled tomato soup with grilled cheese toast and bacon jam was fabulous, as well as the assorted appetizers, salad, intermezzo and main course. After all of this, came the finest dessert. It was almost too much but we couldn't let it go to waste. This was one of the finest meals we have ever eaten out, including our many travels abroad, which made for a New Years Eve we will never forget!
Birthday dinner for husband and friend. Great experience
Everything was very good. Wish we knew what personal service was. We’re just country people
Fantastic! Had a great time! Food was delicious and service was exceptional! Went back the next night for dessert and to listen to live music...very enjoyable!!
We celebrated our 27th anniversary at Voyagers and was very impressed with all aspects of our experience . Will definitely be back!!
The restaurant was romantic! The food was ok but would have been more enjoyable with a less obnoxious waitress. Very loud and rude
Absolutely stunning food, service, drinks. Would rate above 5 stare!! Loved every moment
Great food and amazing sunset
Catch of the day and cremeburelle was amazing
Would have enjoyed the view better if the windows were clean.
Nice venue. Good food. Great service by Rico. Great view. Very good menu.
Outstanding food and service! One of the best ribeye I've ever eaten. Victor, our waiter, was friendly and attentive. An excellent place for fine dining.
Food was good; some nice items on the menu like e.g. the venison chop. Brussel Sprouts side dish was not exciting. It was declared as crispy Brussels Sprout but was just undercooked - raw messed up as crispy.
Great decor wonderful food a little overpriced. The waiter was very friendly and professional but his heavy accent made it difficult to understand him most of the time
