Delicious steak in a cool atmosphere, watching the zip-liners!!
Lovely complimentary dessert
Not as pricey as the Strip, but great service and food just the same.
Absolutely amazing from beginning to end! Our waiter Jeff was fantastic. Loved it!
Past it's prime. This restaurant was once very good, with great food and service. Sadly, on our recent visit, 6 of us were all dissatisfied. First, the place was just too warm (no airconditioning on). The waiter barely spoke English and service was slow. Our food was either overcooked or undercooked . Just a really bad experience overall. Will go elsewhere for steak and seafood in the future.
Great steaks. Brilliant view of the strip and excellent service. Slightly disappointed we couldn’t go outside to take in the view but couldn’t be helped - massive electrical storm outside!
The atmosphere was amazing! The drinks were very good along with the desserts, but I will have to say my steak filet was over cooked & the asparagus was not tasteful.
Billy was our waiter and he was good. The table next to us was the problem. They were loud, crude, stupid and just plain out trash. Yes they were drunk which made then even louder. Not once did I see a manager nor did a manager come ask us if we would like to move or say something to them. I know its Vegas but this should not have happened. It was our first and only trip to voodoo. Food was good but nothing out of this world. As a business owner I will tell you that I will share them with my staff on what not to do.
Food was great server was great. But it was way to loud. Other than it was a great experience
Great view. Excellent food. Pricey
awesome as always. love the after party as well on the voodoo deck. best steak in vegas we go every year.
Steak was a little overcooked and a little too salty... not enough to cause a scene or anything but 55-60 steak shouldn't seem ... meh
All I have to say is GREAT FOOD! Every time I go there I am treated really well.
Food is always great. John is the best. Thanks for a memorable evening.
The service was impeccable. The food was excellent and I would definitely recommend Voodoo Steakhouse.
I was concerned when I arrived and we had to use the staff elevator and when we were seated there was a portable air conditioner near our table but all that was put to rest when we were seated. Service was excellent and the food from start to finish was outstanding. I will return on my next visit.
It was just okay
We were celebrating our anniversary and the food is always good here. We hadn't been here in a while and were disappointed that they had gotten rid of all of the voodoo style décor. Instead of skulls, there were drawings of corn! We also like to go here because after you eat, you can go up to the Voodoo Lounge, which has a cover, but not as much as we paid for dinner! This time, we had different staff telling us different things. "You can't go up those stairs, go out that door instead." "You can't come out here, there's a private party. You can go to the other side of the deck." That involved going through the private party. At that point, we weren't sure if we were allowed to the upper level. There were employees guarding the top of the stairs. So we just hung out on the stairs and enjoyed the view from there. When it was time to leave, we tried to go back in the door where we came out, and were told we couldn't go in there, it was a private party! So we walked back across the lower deck and in the other restaurant door, wishing they would all get their stories straight! Still, the food was great.
Food and service was great. The temperature in the restaurant was a little too warm for me, but still a great time overall.
Steak over cooked, offered to redo but didn’t want to eat after my dining party. Other order was lobster dish, again over cooked and tough. I love a great steak and this was not one of them, bummer to spend a few hundred on dinner and be disappointed!
Beautiful views excellent service and delicious food, great combination in one place.
Amazing views! Loved watching the sun set over the Strip and mountains. Fun menu choices. Enjoyed the surf and turf. Service was very good.
The VooDoo steakhouse is awesome. The food is outstanding and so is the service.
We took a chance on Voodoo only because we were seeing the Penn & Teller show and did not want to be late-big mistake. As I suspected, we would end up being disappointed. The food was on par with a budget restaurant like Golden Corral. The filet was dry and tasteless, the asparagus stringy and under cooked and the mac and missing truffle horrible. As a never had any cooking training individual I have two pointers when eating out. 1) Could I make it better at home? 2) Would I order it again? The food was barely worth half what they charged. Buyer beware.
We came here for Restaurant Week but we will be back. Our server Jeff was attentive and kind. He started off by asking us if we had any where to go so he knew when we had to be out of the restaurant by. The food was delicious - special mention for their wagyu bruschetta, ribeye, and mango sorbet.
Jamal was a fantastic server. He was very attentive and professional. Would go back again just to be served by him.
The decor could use some work and updating. Our server was not very personable or did he provide any recommendation, but provided good service. We were beginning to think we may have made a mistake coming here, but the food was FANTASTIC!!!
My son and I had steaks, my wife had the halibut, and our daughter. In law had the chicken. All food was excellent.
We will definitely return!
The food was excellent. Our server did a ok job but was preoccupied with something making him seem unfriendly and not attentive. Basically he just did his job. The noise level was high and the AC seemed to be broken. I would give them another try since this has been my favorite spot for several years. It just was not what it used to be.
Service was great, the view is always great, but the food was terrible.my wife got crab cake and it was very salty, and I got the 20 oz. Ribeye and it was not cook in the middle and very chewy.
The place was empty at 9:15 on Tuesday night even though Open Table said there were only two spots left available for dinner.
The first chair I sat in was very rickety so i swapped it out.
They had a special menu sponsoring a food bank. We ordered an appetizer that was not on the special menu and the entrees from the special menu. They charged the full price for the special menu and the full price for the appetizer. Would have been cheaper to order the same entrees from the regular menu.
The steak was mediocre and the scallops tasted like they had been refrozen. Neither plate was very appetizing.
The charcuterie appetizer only had a few thin slices of a fruity bread, no crackers and a very limited amount of meat but lots of greens in the middle.
The drinks were terribly overpriced.
Service was fair but slow. Silly considering how few tables were occupied.
We did get to watch the zip line come and go but could not hear the screams, probably just as well as neither of us were interested in trying it.
Overall the value was very poor, fair food for a high price. I have had outstanding meals and wine at the best steakhouses in America for less money.
excellent food accompanied by excellent service. And the dessert was to die for.
I go to Las Vegas multiple times per year and anytime I stay at the Rio (and often when I do not), I have dinner at the Voodoo. It is a top notch steakhouse, and they know how to cook a steak. In addition, I think you would be hard-pressed to find a more romantic view than you can get there. It is especially romantic at night when the clear skies of Las Vegas yield up a sparkling panorama of the city at night. And, you can easily walk outside to enjoy the view from the outdoor deck.
I would recommend the Voodoo Steakhouse to anyone who comes to Vegas. Wonderful place and the staff are always well-trained and attentive.
Food is great and the serving staff is excellent.
The Voodoo Steakhouse will not dissapoint. The staff, ambience, service are 5 Star.
I had a wonderful time with my best friend for her first time in LASVEGAS and her birthday. Jamal was my server. The best part of the meal was the grilled artichoke. Its so fun to eat. And the sauce is good enough for its own restaurant. I wish my steak had been slightly less done. I ordered medium well and there was 0 pink in the meat by the time I consumed it. I did cut in the middle to check the doneness, but it may have been too hotstill and cooked more.
Not at all the experience expected, just a terrible night here and would never recommend this place at all. Had a problem with the men at the table next to me being loud and explicit while trying to take my wife out and she wanted to just move the table for us and the server refused, the manager didn't help either and we ended up leaving without eating.
It was our Anniversary and from the moment we walked in the door we were made to feel special. Our waiter was awesome and the food delicious. The price I thought for what we got was right on point. I would definitely go back. Great job Voodoo steakhouse!!!
New York strip was great
The staff is awesome and the Voodoo nightclub on the level above which is free upon showing of the dinner receipt.
