VooDoo Steakhouse - Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino
Alive with mystical sights, sounds and flavors, VooDoo Steak will cast you under its spell! Situated high above Las Vegas on the 50th floor of Rio"s Masquerade Tower, VooDoo Steak provides a breathtaking view of the city that's perfect for an intimate, inviting candlelit meal.
VooDoo Steak serves two tiers of premium quality beef: Rio Premium Reserve and Rio Dry-Aged. The menu also includes favorites with a French-Creole flair. In addition to steaks, we have added side dishes for sharing, new appetizers, a completely revised dessert menu and fun new specialty cocktails.
We visited VooDoo Steakhouse for a friend’s 50th birthday and we were staying at the Rio. Party of 6. Unfortunately we were sat in the center of the dining room with a portable fan blowing directly at our table. We asked another server if it could be turned down or ocelate so it didn’t blow directly at us and he turned it off. Other tables then were complaining it was too hot.
We saw our server rarely and easily would have enjoyed another round of cocktails and laughed off the fan issue but since it took so long to place our order we were 30 minutes late to our comedy show we had tickets for. We thought 1.45 hrs would be enough time to eat and make our show that was also in the Rio. Needless to say, for the price per plate at VooDoo I was not expecting this low level of service or a plug in wall fan to accompany our dinner experience. My salmon and ribeye were good, I just wish our group could’ve enjoyed the evening overall as a fun, memorable positive experience.
The food was pretty good once the steak and lobster were cooked correctly.
Great place for the view and the food. The menu is diverse and not a bad seat in the house.
Loved this restaurant. Its a bit pricy but its Vegas everything is. I would definitely recommend it!
The customer service was amazing food was ok
All was well
The food and service were great, as well as the overall ambiance. The view is breathtaking. The only complaint I had was that the server did not make us aware that the sides are plentiful and could be shared; we ended up ordering way more than we needed. I definitely recommend dining there; would be a perfect date night restaurant.
Me and my wife were celebrating our wedding vow renewal and this was our special dinner. Everything was AWESOME. Billy our server was top of the line also. Wish we had a first class restaurant here where we live. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Just a little pricey, but worth it.
We had a great time. We were seated near the windows so the view was nice. We did have a misunderstanding with our order though. Apparently, and not mentioned on the menu, the fries can be ordered as plain or truffle fries. The mashed potatoes can be ordered “whipped” which comes with chives, or as “mashed potatoes” which do not have chives. We received the mashed potatoes correctly but the fries were plain though I ordered the truffle fries. The restaurant manager, Donald, made rounds frequently so I was able to ask about it and he took care of it quickly! He was also very approachable to begin with so I felt comfortable asking for his assistance. Great management! I’d only suggest the menu be more clear about multiple options for an item.
Great views. Great host. Great service. Must try lobster bisque 😋
The short rib bruschetta was amazing!
The outside rooftop had a great view of Las Vegas. The cocktail list was limited and they ended being out of the one I wanted. The food was good- I had the halibut and lobster Mac and cheese! It was expensive but that is what we expected
My best friend and I had dinner there while visiting for a girls week. We each ordered a meal, I had Halibut and she had a wonderful steak.
The food was fantastic as well as the service. We went to an early dinner, had the 6oz surf n turf. Couldn’t have been a nicer experience. Chairs were a bit uncomfortable but the service was beyond great.
We definitely enjoyed ourselves. The only issues are that it seems if you have a party larger than 4, they can’t accommodate you with the best of their views. Also, I ordered a Kansas City, and my sister ordered a New York strip, and though I’m sure the correct cuts of meat were served, they were almost more like ribeyes than they were strips. Over all though, it was still good, and the service was excellent. We may not be back for a while because there are so many other places to also try, but I would tell someone not to go here
Very disappointed. Service was great but the rest of it is just average. Not what you expect at a high end steak house.
The view on the 50th floor is great. Good service and good food. Good drrinks will try it again
This is a great dinig experience.
It is a must on your dining list for Las Vegas.
The staff is the best you could as for...Kudos.
Amazing service food and view. Check out the steaks. Roof top bar was out of this world, with good selection of drinks. This was definitely our best night in Vegas.
The food was amazing and the timing between courses was perfect . They try to sell you a fancy picture with backdrop but you can just take your own selfies. The view was beautiful. The price was high but the food really was worth it. We ordered 2 entrees and a couple sides for 3 people to share and it was perfect. We got steak and halibut to share, muuuuuuuch cheaper than a surf and turf combo. Both entrees were FABULOUS!
Food was DELICIOUS!!! Jenna and her crew were fabulous. Wonderful view. Nice patio deck.
The view is amazing and the atmosphere is very nice. I really enjoyed dining by the window Nd looking at the view. The terrace was nice for taking pictures with the Strip as your background at night. The food was too expensive to taste like it did. The tempura green beans were greasy. They should ask if you want the kalama olive paste on your bread. That is an acquired taste that everyone does not have. The steak was not cooked to my specifications. We were told all the sides are shareable and the baked potato was barely big enough for 1 person. The scallops were tasty. They didn't have any green vegetables hence the tempura green beans. I would not go back. The food wasn't good.
Great view of the strip for a special date dinner. We went outside afterwards, love their outdoor deck!
When we showed up, the host at the ground level check us in on her reservation sheet, then walked us to the elevator for the ride up. She discovered the elevator would not work and called her manager. After waiting for 20 min, a manager showed up and apologized for the elevator not working and told us we would have to ride with him in the service elevator.
Our dinner was wonderful.
When we tried to leave, the elevator would not take us down!! So, same thing, an employee had to take us down on the service elevator. VERY disappointing.
Had a wonderful time celebrating my mom’s 60 Birthday Day. A fantastic meal and a great view of the strip.
Last minute anniversary dinner, got an incredible table with an outstanding view. The food was wonderful, staff funny and attentive. Will move Voodoo Steakhouse to the top of our list of places to go.
Best view of the strip and mountains at a Vegas resteraunt. Go at 7pm to see the sun set and watch the strip lights come on after. Make sure to go out to the deck outside before and after dinner. Be careful of the $45 dollar huge drinks unless money is not a thing. Food is good but it is no Le Cirque but the price is less then Le Cirque so it makes up for it.
Delicious steak in a cool atmosphere, watching the zip-liners!!
Lovely complimentary dessert
Not as pricey as the Strip, but great service and food just the same.
Absolutely amazing from beginning to end! Our waiter Jeff was fantastic. Loved it!
Past it's prime. This restaurant was once very good, with great food and service. Sadly, on our recent visit, 6 of us were all dissatisfied. First, the place was just too warm (no airconditioning on). The waiter barely spoke English and service was slow. Our food was either overcooked or undercooked . Just a really bad experience overall. Will go elsewhere for steak and seafood in the future.
Great steaks. Brilliant view of the strip and excellent service. Slightly disappointed we couldn’t go outside to take in the view but couldn’t be helped - massive electrical storm outside!
The atmosphere was amazing! The drinks were very good along with the desserts, but I will have to say my steak filet was over cooked & the asparagus was not tasteful.
Billy was our waiter and he was good. The table next to us was the problem. They were loud, crude, stupid and just plain out trash. Yes they were drunk which made then even louder. Not once did I see a manager nor did a manager come ask us if we would like to move or say something to them. I know its Vegas but this should not have happened. It was our first and only trip to voodoo. Food was good but nothing out of this world. As a business owner I will tell you that I will share them with my staff on what not to do.
Food was great server was great. But it was way to loud. Other than it was a great experience
Great view. Excellent food. Pricey
awesome as always. love the after party as well on the voodoo deck. best steak in vegas we go every year.
Steak was a little overcooked and a little too salty... not enough to cause a scene or anything but 55-60 steak shouldn't seem ... meh
All I have to say is GREAT FOOD! Every time I go there I am treated really well.
