It was a very unpleasant embarrassing experience
The kitchen was very slow. 30 minutes after ordering to get soup and an hour to get the entrees. Fortunately we had time before our show. The food was superlative. Possibly one of the best rib eye steaks I’ve eaten. Perfectly seasoned and prepared. Good wine list although expensive. No wines at moderate price points. We requested and received a table by the window with a great Las Vegas view.
Food and atmosphere was impeccable came for my birthday and was served free champagne
The elevator in the lobby of the restaurant were super hot, didn’t seem like the air-conditioning was working in the area. The Decour seemed a little outdated and I noticed they had some portable fans all around the restaurant so they definitely need to check their air conditioning for the summer. The food was OK we’ve had better at other steak houses so I was a little disappointed for this being Las Vegas you would expect better quality and a better selection the menu seem very limited
First Vegas trip
Food is average, price does not match. (TOO MUCH). I like fine dinning and don't mind paying for it but not this place. They really sold me on my party of 12 (daughters 21st) can get into the club up stairs with no waiting and no cover charge. IT BEEN CLOSED FOR 18 MONTHS. Even on the web site it does not say closed and shows you all the pictures of the club. DECEITFUL, and MISLEADING. Destroyed my daughters 21st. Than You RIO NEVER AGAIN.
Steak was actually really good. We knew the Rio was old but we used to go here back in the day. Old and musty yes but food was really good. And the view to me is the best in Vegas!! And no wait!!
Facility was too warm for comfortable dining. Calamari was over cooked however the Seafood tower was good. Very good drinks.
This was our 3rd time here. The first 2 times were outstanding. This time we were pretty disappointed. I ordered the Pappa Midnight "smoke infused" drink. When the waiter dropped it off, it clearly was not smoke infused. We ordered the Filet and Crab Legs. The Filet was good, but the crab legs were overcooked and rubbery. We called the waiter over to let him know this. The only thing that happened was that he apologized. He did not try to make it right and we were charged for the crab legs we did not eat. Was disappointed they did not try to make it right.
Very delicious. caesar salad, cream corn, potatoes, and 16oz Porter house super delicious.
Definitely get a witchdoctor! The seafood tower is amazing and the steak melts in your mouth.
Wonderful ambience, delicious food, and attentive service. And the view is spectacular!
Food was great! Service was fantastic! The atmosphere is nice but the A/C didn’t seems to be working so it was really, really hot. Other than that I would recommend it for the food and service.
I’ll start with the bad. Doesn’t seem like the air conditioning worked great. A lot of fans and the bathroom was like a sauna. The asparagus was my least favorite thing we ordered. Not much flavor and undercooked.
The good. Service was excellent, our waiter was awesome. The Short rib bruschetta was delicious. French onion soup also was good. Cocktails were great. Tomahawk steak was cooked perfect.
Pretty pricey but we ate and drank everything.
Very low class
Low quality food for the high price
View is gorgeous and my server was on point! The only thing I found to be a bit disappointing was my food was a little too salty. Other than that I would recommend this a fine place to dine!
You were missing wine selection waiter tried to make it right then no raw auger fo espresso and twist of lime. I was expecting the food to be outstanding for the price is was who eat out a lot and travel basic. Lack food presentation. This criticism is to help you. But is seem at Rio eve thing even the rooms gone down hill. My advise is to close down everything and open it up new again they have put some money into the hotel again
Waited an hour and forty minutes to get our food. We watched tables all around us arrive after us, eat and pay their bill before our food came. The food was delicious but we we’re so hangry by the time it finally came we really didn’t enjoy it as much as we could have. Also, for a high-end restaurant, that charges as much as they do for food they should be able to keep the restaurant at a reasonable temperature. They were using one floor fan to attempt to move air around but it wasn’t enough to help. Finally, we had to ask more than once to have our water glasses filled. Overall, with the heat in the restaurant, major food delay and substandard service for a restaurant billed at this level I give them an average to below average review. I will add that they attempted to make things right by providing a 15% off of our bill but only after a long discussion we shouldn’t have had to have.
I believe AC was broken and it was hot as hell. Heat Radiating off the windows. They had standing floor fan that wasn’t doing any good. Also ask for medium steak and got medium well.
Great service and amazing food. Definitely recommend.
Food was worst meal ever for that price in Vegas. We regret VooDoo and the Rio in general.
Did not get enough food for the price we paid. We had to wait over 30 minutes to get water after being seated. When our food finally arrived the waiter sat it down and picked it back up and took it back. After a few more minutes our foot was brought back to us. We waited another 20-30 minutes after we asked for the check to be brought to us. All in all our wait staff was non-existent. Food was over priced, very dark in the restaurant. We noticed the same issues for all the surrounding tables as well no one had food in the proper amount of time.
Meat was outstanding. Service was appalling.
Waited for 35 minutes to order another drink. By the time I got the waiters attention I had already finished my food.
Awesome views and food.
My husband and I are newly Weds here for honeymoon and the service/food/drinks/experience was REALLY outstanding 👏 even the outer deck was cool to look out on.
The salad and cheesecake were good but I highly doubt the ribeye was a prime cut. I've had better steaks at Applebees.
$250 for a salad, cheesecake + subpar steak is ridiculously overpriced. The view from the terrace was incredible. Only wish the food held up to that caliber.
Also, I reserved our table for 9:30pm 2 weeks in advance but the general manager kept insisting they had to change it to 9:00 because that's the only time they had available. After several emails responding to this, they finally said they would honor the 9:30pm time. The restaurant was maybe 10% full the entire time we were there...
This was one of our top restaurants of all time. We went on the 4th of July for dinner, had a few drinks with an incredible steak and seafood meal and then watched the Vegas skyline outside where the zip liners are. Absolutely perfect and memorable night! Jamal thank you for outstanding service as well! :)
Servers were great and friendly. The food is overrated, my 10 oz filet was a good piece of steak, however, was over salted and dry.
Steaks were great. Expect to pay double normal rate. ($75 not including sides, etc.) Assume price is because of view but only 10% of tables have a window view - all other tables are interior. Zip line passengers are a distraction walking through. Wait staff were wonderful - but extremely understaffed and disappointing overall because they couldn’t get to everyone timely. I would go back if I got a window seat on a weeknight.
Appetizers, main entree and dessert all came bery slowly.
The service was excellent. We got the Australian lobster and filet mignon. The filet was delicious however we very disappointed in the lobster. Way overpriced for the quality.
Steak was over priced and over cooked. Price for the meal was too high for what it was. Bathrooms were dirty and Would not dine here again. It also felt like you were eating in a boiler room. The dining room was so hot that it made the experience worse.
The entire experience was amazing. Although it was a little hard to find since the elevator did not work until the minute of our reservation, so we were worried it was closed. The food and drinks were amazing. Perfect birthday celebration dinner for my husband. View was great as well.
Incredible ambiance and service! Food was outstanding- had the calamari, wedge salad and tuna - this place is a must!
The food was fabulous as well as the service. Great experience overall
The steak is hot and amazing. Service was equally impressive!
By far, Jacinto is the best server!! His attention to detail and making our entire table feel special is a testament to him and his hard work!!
This was the worst restaurant I've been to in my life. The service was poor because the poor server had so many tables. The restaurant was dark and dusty. It was so hot they had fans sitting throughout the restaurant. The food was just plain bad. I had the 20 oz ribeye. It was cooked perfectly medium but had no flavor. My baked potato seemed to be leftover from the day before. It was not fresh. It was an overall bad experience.
Service was very slow and inattentive. The restaurant is run-down and in definite need of attention and improvements.
The steak was great, so tender we cut it with a butter knife. Disappointed they didn't have any bread or rolls? They need to add that back onto their menu for sure. The view was spectacular and really enjoyed being out amongst people again!
